Pharmacist could not find my vaccine appointment even though I had my confirmation number. She could not have been more apologetic, and I know that's a function of technology and not human error. Still, be EARLY for appointments, because they wil almost certainly be a line! And plan ahead to drop off Rx to pick up later. Be kind to staff, y'all!

They call you, they check and make sure you want to fill them at the same time, they educate you on your medications and possible side effects and interactions. Plus, sometimes? A shortage may be occurring on a particular medication and they will warn you so you can look for it somewhere else until they can get it in. You can feel love here. I was done with "big box pharmacies.!" I was tired of standing in line for hours or sitting out in my car for 45-minutes at a time to just pickup my medications. The staff and pharmacists are absolutely amazing after several visits they were calling me by my name when I arrived, they notify me when they receive my script, it's always ready on time and they always have what we need in stock and even if they don't you won't wait long. I recently had some dental work done and was over by their office, I stopped in just to see if they would fill it before driving home, they had just received the prescription but told me to wait 10 minutes and filled it immediately. If you are tired of dealing with the big box pharmacies which are getting harder and harder to find and deal with, you MUST give them a try you won't be disappointed. Many times I've been here and there's only a single employee holding down the fort. Today I stopped in during my break to find they were closed for 30 minutes from 1:30pm to 2:00pm. However there were 3 people back there so was there really a reason to close instead of staggering their lunches? Oh well. It's better than nothing. I walked the store for a few minutes and came back and waited on the bench. Once they opened I was helped immediately and able to pick up my prescriptions and be on my way.

I will say, it was completely redone the best way it could. There are a lot more self checkouts. They seemed to have a better and greater selection of clothes for the whole family. Their food section was great to be honest. They had a good amount of organics. However, they were out of some fresh herbs that I needed. I was in the makeup section and needed some items in the glass case. I alerted an employer and within minutes had someone there to open it for me. Checkout was pretty easy to operate. I had a question and an employee was nice enough to help. If I had to come back here again I probably wouldn't hesitate if in the area. I still prefer my neighborhood "Grassfield Walmart" above all.

I had plenty of pennies but nope, they round up no matter what. I don't think that is very fair business. Others I have gone to knock the price down to the lowest non penny denominator. They do have a very nice "fountain" with delicious limeade and some cool items for those who want to shop there. UPDATE!!! Randi from Irwin's actually called me moments after I posted the review. She explained they did in fact round up when they should have rounded down. Therefore I have changed my stars and am very impressed that they called asap and offered to reimburse the change. I will say sometimes it takes quite a while to get your prescriptions, so be smart about what time you go. For instance, 5:00 is peak time and The line is always long. But if you go at 8:30, when I just went, it'll be very quick. Also, if you go to Walgreen a lot, it's definitely beneficial to be a reward member. You save a lot of money and you get discounts.

I've never had a good experience here but I haven't had a bad enough to leave a review until today. My husband had a prescription sent over from telehealth on Sunday. He called first thing this morning to ensure it was received. It was an antibiotic and steroid that needed to be started ASAP. He was advised that they received over 55 prescriptions so understandably they couldn't give him a time of when it would be completed. However, he called again around 1pm to check on it. He was advised it had been filled and was ready for pick up. They have a CB lunch break from 1:30-2pm so around 2:15pm I waited in the drive thru line for about 20min with 3 hungry kids to pick it up. When I arrived at the window I was advised it wasn't filled and to go wait in the parking lot or swing back around (even though no one was behind me) and wait another 15min while they fill it. I asked why we were told it was ready and I was met with a short tone simply saying "he wasn't" I was irritated and asked if it would really take 15min... the response was that I needed to move along and go wait somewhere else for 15min and no one told us it was ready. I took the kids home and then went back to get the prescription. I waited for a couple cars. One took 15min at the window (I did time it, so I'm assuming they refused to wait elsewhere) the other car was just 2 min. I was able to get the prescription on my second visit. Although I was able to get what I needed this time, the interaction was short and definitely did not leave me with a desire to return. We've found another pharmacy to try for our prescriptions going forward, I don't mind driving farther for better service.

I primarily run into this location for sales on makeup, snacks, and other basics. They are usually well stocked in makeup that covers a variety of shades for the palest and brownest of us which can be a challenge to find at times elsewhere. Staff are always helpful if I need assistance finding an item, especially since the store layout was updated. More than once I've seen front retail staff disrespected by customers while never responding rudely even though it would be justified. They maintained professionalism especially when people were losing their minds over toilet paper.
