I don't understand why the pharmacy manager David Dorwart was so rude to me today. Do you treat everyone that way? People are coming there because they already don't feel good. I felt like I was bothering him by just being there at the drive through so it started off rough. I thought the drive through was best since I am so sick. I tried to ask a question and he walked away. I had already lost my voice so I was having trouble talking. He acted as though I was criminal because my old address was still in the system. It got worse when I asked about the Good RX discount and I guess he was upset that he had to look that up and ring it up again. That was my question if he hadn't walked away the first 2 times. By the end of it I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that he didn't explain my prescription or ask if I had any questions. Isn't a big part of your job helping people? Why can't we have this in MN? this grocery! They have the best assortment of products and very easy to find what you need and didn't know you needed! Prices are reasonable and you can't beat getting wine where you get your food! I was very pleased with the quality and the variety and picked up some ready-made that was delicious as well! Store branded peanut butter to go with my bagged celery sticks and the hummus brand with beets and lemon was the best I've had and I am a hummus snob! We got everything we came for to stock out hotel fridge and to prepare a meal for the VB players staying offsite and wish I could make this my local grocer! This grocery store is nicer and larger than most of its competitors. I was traveling through and needed a few items. my hometown Publix is nice clean and friendly. I thought I would take a chance on this one. I was more than pleasantly surprised. It is bigger than any publix I've ever been in before. It has food choices I had never previously seen in a publix. we got everything we needed, and the super friendly cashier asked all sorts of questions and had a very nice conversation with us as we were going through the line. This particular publix stood out. I felt like I had to give them the love they deserve. From the moment we walked in (which was at like 10pm) we were greeted warmly. I live in Miami where people aren't happy to see you when they are about to close. We went to the deli to get subs and the lady who made them was super nice and engaged in conversation. she made my sub perfect! our cashier was also extremely nice and engaged in conversation while we checked out and wished us well on our drive back home. Personnel was as in all Publix's extremely polite and friendly. Again, the one problem would be the deli section. Always a line wither you are getting cold cuts or subs or hot food.They do have the most amazing cheese and sushi departments that I have ever seen. Large beverage selection for adults, including a separate store. Parking spots tend to be a little small but o.k. We were staying at a hotel on Disney property for a stay-cation and with not being able to agree on what we all wanted, went to Publix and where able to satisfy everyone and still not break the bank. Picked up quick things for breakfast also since we had a frig. Great store in the middle of the tourist capital. read more

Huge grocery store with anything and everything you need. We passed by the deli counter and my friends who were in Celebration for the week pointed out the delicious roast chicken they had bought earlier. Store was extremely clean, produce was fresh and the store was logically laid out. Staff were friendly and helpful. This really good grocery store nearby would affect my decision to stay in the area for future trips to the area, especially of I was staying in a suite with a kitchenette. I live in the Orlando area so go to Publix a lot. This was the first time I've been in the Celebration Publix and was shocked at how many customers didn't have their masks up and over their nose and sometimes both mouth and nose were uncovered. Have never had this experience at any other Publix in the area.....there's always one customer who has to be a jerk with mask down but not like here....fully 1/3 - 1/2 of customers had their faces partially or fully uncovered. I went to the customer service desk to ask her to make an announcement. She said there's an announcement every 20 minutes. I never heard it. Will not go back into that particular Publix. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE TO THE MAX!!! Wow, this new store by Publix has to be an experience in itself. What you cannot find here is because is doesn't exist. Been if they do not carry it, they'll order it and begin having it on stock from that moment on. The wine selection is par to none. They have a cheese section and an olive bar as well as a hot food Chinese buffet. First store I see with an actual setting area where you can enjoy your meal. This is probably one of the nicest Publix stores I've ever visited. It's cleanliness is awesome and I do like that they have the additional liquor store attached. They have a great selection of produce. Their bakery and deli are also very nice. You can never go wrong with a Publix sub! Their customer service is also almost unparalleled. They're always super helpful and always willing to answer questions. The only complaint was when my boyfriend and I were at the pharmacy. We had to repeat ourselves so many times, it was extremely frustrating. I asked her if she could just write everything down so we didn't have to keep repeating how to spell our names or the prescription we were looking for. We moved to Celebration 2 months ago. I'm now either going to shop at Target or Walmart as bad as that is. Here's why ... I can't call in my prescriptions. The system at Celebration Publix only doesn't recognize my cell #. They told me "hmmm, we've heard that from a lot of people" ... not we'll get that corrected. This is ongoing over 30 days. The seafood counter ... good luck getting waited on. Today there were 4 employees behind the counter and only me ... 1 customer. After no eye contact and we got tired, then aggravated about waiting we moved on. Seems everything is more important than the customer. Same thing happens at other counters but their not selling salmon. We often buy the same things over and over due to diet and health. This store is consistently out of five of those ten items. They probably don't care they lose one customer and they'll swear they do. They are one lighter right now. read more

The prices may be slightly higher than discount grocery stores, but you are treated well, and the quality of the store brand food is as good or better than name brands. Review is strictly on the pharmacy. I LOVE Publix but will never get our scripts filled at this location again. I called 6 times in the last 2 days to get an update on a medication refill. Waited over 30 minutes on the phone without ever speaking to a single person. It has taken 3 trips and over 52 minutes of waiting in the drive through line to fulfill a single prescription. Came by multiple times after the Publix text said it was ready only to arrive and wait another 34 minutes to have the flavor added-after asking for the flavor 1 time over the phone and 2 times in person. Horrible customer service in the Pharmacy. I am hypersensitive to reviews but this should be known-absolutely unacceptable. read more

Cake creativity - I ordered a pull apart birthday cake from the Publix in Celebration for my son's 11th B-Day Party at Splitsville Luxury Lanes. We were staying at a Disney Resort the night before and I didn't want to being the cake with me. I talked with Tim the Cake decorator and asked for a Zombie Bowling Themed design. I suggested using the Zombie's head as a bowling ball and that's all he needed for inspiration. The cake turned out AWESOME! So I would recommend anyone doing a special celebration at Disney and need to pick up a specially themed cake, give the Publix in Celebration a call and ask for Tim to create your theme. read more

This was my most visited grocery store during my stay in Florida. Great place to buy water gallons. This particular location has a Publix liquor store right next store. The grocery and liquor store has much better prices and selections then it'd competitor down the street. My favorite item bought from this location was a bottle of basil pesto. I'm disappointed. This Publix doesn't compare well to those in Nocatee or Ponte Vedra AT ALL. The selection of foods is OK, and kudos for the International foods areas, but the quality of produce is poor. Over and over , I get something home and it is unusable the next day. I've also found clumps of Publix grated cheese with blue mold and supposedly fresh shrimp that was not at all fresh. It's the only game in town that is close to us, but I'm heading to Whole Foods for produce and protein. read more

This just so happens to be the Publix closest to our house and man are we lucky that it is! Most Publix stores are pretty wonderful but this one is top notch! They have an amazing wine selection with a speciality cheese and olive area, which is a wonderful touch! The bakery also has a variety of fine desserts like torts and other fancy things you might not typically see in a grocery store. In addition, the store is always kept well stocked and clean! I would probably give this store a 4.5 instead of a 4 if I could because the downfalls don't really warrant a whole star deduction but alas, this is where we stand. They don't let you take numbers at the sub counter, which makes it sort of a free for all during busy lunch and dinner times, but who wouldn't wait a few extra minutes for that Publix sub goodness?! We're right in the heart of touristy Orlando so the store can get pretty full come busy vacation seasons, but they are pretty good with handling the crowds. There are always plenty of registers open and a ton of employees to help with finding products. read more

Publix in general is pretty darn amazing, but this Publix stepped up its game! The store is gorgeous, clean and organized! They have the AHHH-MAZING Publix subs (try the chicken tenders sub with Gouda cheese, delicious!!!), an awesome fine olive and cheese selection and an awesome granola/grain wall. The employees are all friendly and very helpful!! The one criticism I would give is to have people take numbers for the subs rather than just calling people up as they walk up. This is fine when there aren't a lot of people, but this is a heavily populated tourist location and usually it results in a mass of people just randomly ordered without any consideration of who was there first, who's next, etc. You can also order subs online and just come pick them up from a display area without the wait! I've done this twice and have had awesome experiences both times! read more
