I don't really care for Publix because I'm into mostly organic & locally grown. I love eating healthy. When I go to a grocery store to shop I look for nonGMO organic fresh ripe fruits, veggies, nuts, & seeds. When in Publix, the fruit is usually very poor quality... Berries especially but I do see that at other stores as well. There is also barely any organic produce & no decent natural hygiene products. Hire a new assistant pharmacy manager, Will A. Was right on in his review . Our family will never set foot in a Publix again My physician sent a prescription electronically, it was for a controlled substance. We were told the prescription would be ready in a week. 8 days later, my wife goes to the pharmacy to pick up my medication and is told by the associate that they do not carry that medication. My wife shows the prescription and how they accepted the prescription. She then ask the associate, why would you accept a prescription for something you don't carry a tell us to pick it up on a specific date. My wife has documentation in her hand, the electronic transcript and prescription. The associate was flustered and the line was getting longer. The associate asked the assistant pharmacy manager Maria Elena, whom was on the phone like dealing with someone or something else, she yelled down that she didn't have time to deal with that woman and echoed what the associate said. When my wife came home fuming and upset that she couldn't get my medication for the pain I was in following a spinal fusion. I became livid, not about the medicine, but how she was treated at a store we go to for our entire family's prescription and shopping 2-3 times a week, guessing we spend about $50k a year. So being livid I called Publix headquarters, good luck getting someone on the phone with a pulse. I finally did and there solution was to have Maria Elena call to find out what happened. She had lots of questions, but when I told her the rude associate in question was her. Her tone immediately changed into the rude person that spoke to my wife. She said it never happened, it's not her nature to be rude to a client, but here she was on the phone being rude to me. She insisted it wasn't her. I then asked, is there another assistant manager , older, heavy set with thinning hair, as you can expect, that didn't go well and she dug in harder and said my wife was mistaken. I then said, there is 2 sides to the story, one with nothing to gain and the other defending bad behavior. So I said, if you are telling me the truth, then you're telling me my wife made this up and is lying to me. Her response was you are putting words in my mouth , I said no I am not. If your story is true, my wife lied. But I know my wife, she fought for my prescription and held up the line. I said mam, you are a rude person that has no place in the service industry, you were to call me and apologize, instead, she treated me just like my wife. Well PUBLIX, i know your a big corporation and we used to love shopping there, but we are taking our $50,000 dollars a year and going to Milan's, Walgreens any place other than Publix. Based upon other reviews on this site, you have a problem and folks are growing tired of how we are being treated. We are just the beginning of folks making choices about the way they wish to be treated. No need to contact me, I have already experienced how you handle your problems. No I don't need a fruit basket or a gift certificate...... there is a change coming and the message is out. read more

Always great to shop at this location, not over crowded and the staff is always nice from the deli department to produce and meat staff. They even have a little cafe to buy cafe con leche haha. Good job publix keep it up! (: read more

Publix subs are the best thing on this planet. I love how the lady made the best sub for my brother and me. It was perfect from the softness of the bread to the freshness of the vegetables. The deli let's you try the meats and cheeses as well. The subs are definitely worth it and the price is similar to any other sub shop. Though I no longer live in the area, this will ALWAYS be my go to Publix. I only make it my business to go two locations. Publix in Dadeland or this location in the Eureka Promenade. No matter what, this location provides the BEST customer service. The aisles are always fully stocked, there's always a generous amount of employees working & readily available to help you if needed, the store is kept extremely CLEAN, which is a big must for me. But what I love most is that checkout is always speedy & efficient no matter how crowded the store may be, if crowded at all. Always a fun shopping experience at Publix Eureka :) read more

I don't what is up with the staff at this publix but 95% of the staff is rude. Even the managers are rude. A few times I have grabbed an item because of the price and when the cashier rang it up it was double that. They tell me it must have been put in the wrong spot, they don't even honor the price. I went in once and asked where I could find liquid smoke and the 2 girls standing at customer service said "we don't sell that" After searching for 15 minutes I finally found it. The only person who is always very nice is the gentleman at the sushi counter. I understand most of the cashiers are you doing students, but they need to learn how to act professional. read more

I like this place. However, I wish the deli had a better service. On Saturday evening I went to buy the fried chicken my kids like so much. But for the third time in 2 months I had to leave the store with empty hands. They didn't have the food available and that's ok, understandable. But what bothered me was not that. What it really bothered me was that every single time I asked if more food was coming out, the deli staff answer was the food was getting ready and would be out in 15-20'. While in the market I kept shopping around, and when I went back to the deli 20' later to get the food, I was told "ohhh, no, it will be ready in 20'" and one time they even said "ohhh no, we won't prepare any more of that tonight". So, why do that to customers? Why don't be honest? I'm really disappointed. I continue shopping there, and don't get me wrong, I love shopping in the bakery or the rest of the store there but I don't get my dinner there anymore. I rather drive to the Publix in 152nd; it's farther but for sure I'm able to get the food I want and get back home for dinner sooner than when I go to the Eureka store. read more

Customer care at it's finest! Today I called the bakery to order some Cuban pastries and I spoke to a super awesome girl named Genesis. She was courteous and just awesome over the phone. She took my order and recapped it... she was great because we spoke in Spanglish ( which I loved) made the process even better. This is not my 1 rodeo here in publix. I love this place. I love this Publix location, specially because it is very close to where I live. The place is always clean and the people that work here are always willing to help you. The only reason why I'm not gonna give it 5 stars is because their bread is just not as good as other Publix. The cheese bread from the bakery at this Publix has declined in quality. read more

I love this Publix!!!! The produce manager is always so nice! He is always making sure everyone in his area have what they need. As for the bakery, I once went there with a cake that another Publix had done incorrectly and they were able to fix it for me on the spot! I was so happy that I called corporate to tell my story as they helped me so much when I was in a pickle. The lady at the seafood department recommended a fish for my two year old daughter that she said did not have bones and was great for making little nuggets. My daughter loved the fish and it's now my go to selection. I obviously can't say enough great things about this place. The cashiers always make conversation and if they notice I am getting something that has a coupon they let me know or if it's bogo they do the same. I need to get these people's names. They really are so that I used to use amazon fresh but lately shopping here is my peaceful escape from my crazy toddlers. read more

This Publix is sad most of their fruits and veggies are old and moldy I tried addressing it with the guy in charge of that area and he did not seem to care. I complained twice about it and still nothing was done. One of the ladies in the deli were very rude to me on one occasion. And just today one of the managers, Hector was very rude and did not want to return some of the items that I brought to return because he didn't feel like he should have to since I didn't have the receipt. I love coming to this Publix. Something I like about this Publix is that it is very organized. The nicest employee is Gus. He always bags my groceries in a neatly manner and makes sure things that shouldn't go in the same bag stay seperate. When he accompanies me to my car he is very polite and places everything in my trunk for me. Overall all the employees are very nice, but by far Gus is my favorite. I remember when this shopping center was actually a land full of fruit trees. That wasn't even that long ago. About a year. This publix is brand new and has been open since around the beginning of this year. It is extremely organized, clean, and you can find everything here. The bakery is awesome and the parking is never too hectic. There's even a Publix liquor area next door. The employees are really helpful as well. read more

I always buy at this Publix because it is close to my job. I always go shopping early in the morning, during my lunch, or even after work. I stopped by yesterday afternoon and I had to buy for my kids the Culturelle Probiotic Kids, I went to the register and provided two coupons for the item. One that my kids pediatrician was kind enough to provide to me, and one that I clipped and printed from the www.publix.com/savings/coupons/free-printable-coupons website. A lady by the name of Rachel had the audacity to tell me that the coupon wasn't valid hence the fact I got it from the website for the company she works for. If you're going to have a service department be in charge of the front end please make her aware of the coupons even offered online by your own company! Also, have someone in charge who can be comprehensive rather than snobby that can be an example to your future leaders for that store. All Rachel knew to do was not find a solution, but rather go to the corner near the employee time clock and talk about the situation with another co-worker in front of me about what was going on. And when I asked her for the corporate number all she did was smirk and basically laugh at the situation. I went to the Publix near my house, Waterstone Plaza, and as always they didn't serve me with the unethical and unprofessionalism I was served at Eureka Promenade.
