We came here for lunch on a Friday around 1pm and were the only customers there. They looked a bit thrown off to have business, however, they confirmed they were open so we took a table. The lunch menu is sparse and minimalistic, which is how I like my apartment. If you're not much of a meat eater you're out of luck. We ordered the deep fried egg on asapragus with lardon and cheese sauce. The asparagus was of the fibrous variety, when it could have been succulent and flavorful. The lardon was a piece of connective tissue better suited as floss. The egg was cool looking, but the delicate flavor was unfortunately lost by the overpowering spice crust. The cheese sauce was good enough. I love conceptual dishes and if they consist of 4 ingredients they better be stellar. Because if two or three is off you shine less than you suck. When running a concept based restaurant you run the risk of seeming contrived if you can't serve up four good ingredients that complement each other.
