I feel Division Avenue has gotten too big for their britches. We did try to work with them. We were very loyal and we did pay every month. We had finally caught up and we were gonna get back to a normal way and then they went and cut us off. So whatever. They lost out. We were paying them a lot of money every single month. We ended up paying way more than we owed and that woman over charged us. We didn't owe the fees too if she had told us up front that we had owed all the full 857 by that date and not wait until the next month and then say by the way you owe this too so then send the money order back and then say we have to pay the full thing at that time. We could have paid the full thing and saved a lot of time and stress and extra expenses and she knew we weren't in the same state. It was just a mess. And they do threaten to. We got a second opinion and someone told us they probably wouldn't have taken us to jail just because our storage had trash in it still but she said that and made us feel so scared that we wasted more money getting it cleaned anyway. I don't know what kind of tactics these people feel they can pull on innocent people who can barely make ends meet but it's sick. How do you sleep with yourselves at night? Does it dawn on you that some people can barely pay the bills anyway and you wanna threaten and make our family bail us out when they also can barely make ends meet? It's wrong to take advantage to take advantage of people and be bullies like that. It really sickens me that you're so heartless. And then you have the worse excuses or none at all. You want to talk on the phone most of the time so there is no paper trail and you think just because we're poor, it means we're dumb. Well we're not. So, just know that. And just know, that I will never trust you or your corporate or have relations ever again and if ever I do get somewhere in my career, I will tell everyone in my circle to do the same. You made a mistake with this girl and I won't ever let you live it down, best believe I won't. You know you were in the wrong, very very wrong.

It's always so expensive and they act as if they have given us multiple leniencies but honestly, we have paid full price most of the time. I like people to be up front with me and I kept asking to be 100% sure we were good to go for the month of March because we only get paid once a month and it's usually in the beginning of the month! Well, she had said we were good to go and I had spoken with another employee who said she believed that was going to set us through the end of March and I even asked the manager who also sounded like we were all paid and good to go and they were giving us slack this time but next time we had to pay full amount. We said okay but somewhere in my gut, I had that odd feeling something was off so I kept asking her to verify and she at first, said I was okay and then didn't respond to me anymore! So, I just let it be then we got our notification that our storage units were overdue and I asked her about whether she had updated that we paid and she didn't respond right away and today, I was a little more forceful in wanting to get a response and even said we could come down there!! She finally responded saying we owed $140 for March for the 2 storages and this was why I had asked already multiple times!! Well, now we have to pay something that was truly unnecessary and no they're not lenient and they don't work with you!! $140 on fees is absolutely ridiculous, so what do you think I feel about $280??? I say you can shove it and all the lies too!! Honestly, if she had told me all this upfront and I had time to process and prepare and realize we were getting scammed from the get go, it wouldn't have me so upset but all week, she acted like nothing was wrong and we paid probably knowing I wanted to know about March just so we wouldn't pay and they would get even more money!! I miss the old Storage facility on Division and the ones we started with!! I think Your Space is too arrogant with their nice new offices and upidy attitudes, go to an actual Big City with that mentality!! This is Michigan, not New York!! And, honestly, if you gave us respect and worked with us and wow, actually communicated with us as I have been trying to do and I have the emails for proof in case you have forgotten, anyway I would have had a better mentality but you get what you get and yes, I am very upset at the way my husband and I have been treated!! I am about being honest and genuine, I know a dying art these days but some of us actually believe in practicing what we preach and saying what we mean!!
