The location is great, but they need to invest in professional cleaning and control of cockroaches, rats, and other insects common in the area. The apartment they gave me was dirty, or perhaps that's their standard. The staff are friendly, but they need training in commercial cleaning. The only places that are truly clean are the reception area and the bathroom, which is impeccably clean but requires a key to use. Every time you need to use the bathroom, you have to ask, which is very embarrassing! They should leave the bathroom door open. In short, if you are going to rent a space here, be aware of these problems. read more

Only because there is not a negative rating. Units are okay, not great. The office/billing is what is horrible. For a long time I used an access code that was shared with everyone - not really secure. That finally got fixed. I had my account set up on auto bill for several years- give them a credit card and don't worry about the payment each month. Well, I received notice that my bill wasn't paid and I owed a late fee, re-establishment fee, lock rental fee, etc. I contacted them and they acknowledged it was set up for auto pay - but oh well, I owe the late fees because the payment didn't go through. I contacted my bank and was told that the storage company cancelled the auto pay - not the bank or me. Regardless, storage would not refund the fees. Sounds like a scam and if they do that for everyone that has an auto pay, its a pretty good revenue stream - not very ethical, and probably illegal, but greedy for sure. I'm moving out and contacting the better business bureau. Its not much money, but if they do the same thing to others across the country, they deserved to be punished. read more

I went to my storage unit on 9/08/21. There were no working lights, so I couldn't see. I went to the office. They said about 8 other units have the same problem, and they have no idea when it would be fixed. Not a question of hours, days or weeks - but absolutely NO idea. I asked if they had flashlights I could borrow -they said no. I asked how I was to access my unit. I was told I could move units if I wished. (clearly I can't move my unit in the dark, but this alerted me to the fact that this is a recognized ongoing problem with that being the only offered solution). I pay for storage of my property and to be able to GET to my property during business hours. It is NOT the first time there's been no lights - and not the first time I've alerted the office. If the company is aware of this issue they should have sent emails to the customers affected. I sent them an e-mail saying that I expect to be financially compensated by Public Storage for not providing the service which I contracted. This is my second time posting negatively about this company. read more

Expect your rent to increase like crazy & endlessly. First few months at $24? - great.. Next thing I know it's $32.. ok.. then within a year $38 - nah, not for me.. sorry! Not that I can't afford it, but IMO that's just not how to keep customers. This is 2nd time I've been through this with them. A unit I started with them for $148 turned into over $500 a few years later.. There's places that seem to value your business more. YMMV read more

Be forewarned if you don't reserve your space online they won't honor the web rate from their own website. Will cost you $25+ per month for the SAME thing. I was ready to buy - I wasn't there looking around. Now I have to reserve online and wait an hour +? Seriously? Whoever came up with this isn't too bright. read more

Public Storage sets you up to rip you off. Our unit contract started on 8/20/2017 at $235.00/month plus insurance and taxes. As of 4/1/2019 (that is less than 2 years) our rate has gone up to $294.00/month plus insurance and taxes. A 25% increase in only 17 months. The cost of living or inflation rate for this time period was less than 6%. So their 25% increase is highway robbery. They have you trapped once you rent because moving to another location is a lot of work and takes a lot of time. So be careful and be prepared if you sign up. read more

This place is just out for your money. They raise your rent like crazy. I spent over 3 grand on this storage unit in a year and a half span. When I called to see if I can get the month prorated since my stuff will be out the first week of the upcoming month, they said that they don't prorate. So I now have to pay for a full month of a storage unit that I will not be using. When I called corporate to see if maybe they could do something, they just apologized and said there is nothing they can do. You would think during times like these with COVID-19 and people struggling financially that they would be more considerate. My locks will be on that unit until the last day of the month even after I move my stuff out. They aren't getting money from me and someone else at the same time for that unit. I will never use them again. read more

What a horrible place. Over priced, hidden fees, poor service. They are out to take your money. I had to pay one fee that no one could explain but was informed that they would send it to collections if I did not pay. As a paying customer I had to beg them to use the trash can to throw away a small plastic grocery bag of trash. read more

Thanks to Renata, our experience in finding the proper rental unit was effortless, pleasant and informative. We were very pleased with the her professionalism and warm characteristics, which is what helped to affirm our decision to used Public Storage. You have a great employee who deserves all the encouragement and/ or upward mobility that Public Storage has to offer, in order attract a strong customer base. We are definitely going to recommend this facility to all our friends and associates. Thank You Renata. read more

WAYY TOO MUCH MONEY AND OVERPRICED FOR THE SMALLEST UNIT POSSIBLE!!! They raised their fees without telling me while I was on auto pay and they reemed me for too much money! Never using this place again and just moved out of my unit. Absolutely ridiculous and I do not recommend. They also close super early so if you work late and need to access your unit, you never have the time. read more

This place is shady! They tell you you have to buy their lock (for $20, and you can get the exact same lock at Lowes for about $8). You don't. They tell you you have to by insurance. You don't. Even when you call them on it, they insist those are the rules. Then when you ask to see that in writing they STILL insist. They'll only back off when you say you're going somewhere else. There are also real rats that get into your stuff. If you have other options, go there. read more

The worse. Go Amy where but here for your storage needs. Computers don't work and staff useless.
