The new building manager is on an ego trip. Makes up his own rules. Been there only a month and has harassed me twice. My rent is over $100 more than the online price for the same space. Getting in and out is sometimes impossible because of the traffic jam inside the building. The bay door is broken and stays open 24/7. It's been broken for about 4-5 months. So much for climate control. Also, nice place for animals to take refuse. The men's room has been "out of order" for over 4 months. There are also flashing bulbs in the hallways that can cause migraine headaches. If you have a choice, go somewhere else. read more

I recently reserved a unit but had to cancel on move in date. I was expecting resistance but found it very easy to deal with the sales lady who understood my situation . She was so easy to talk to and promptly initiated any deposit I had coming to me. Although I made many changes on my reservation she was always accommodating and easy to deal with. Every few months they up the rent by $50!!!!!!! I was told 6 years ago that the price wouldn't change.!!!!!

Don't use them!! They make you take insurance out and DO NOT make it easy to cancel it!! AVOID!!

I have been renting a storage unit on Gratiot for the past few years. And the property manager Heather was very helpful and accommodating.

Buyers beware went to public storage to rent a unit. They charge me for a full month was only in the unit for two weeks. Charge me rent for unit that I was not using upgraded to a bigger bigger unit and they charge me twice. Do not recommend please please do not go do not use them. Zero stars one star read more

HORRIBLE treatment to any and all customers! ZERO STARS. CORPORATE is UNRESPONSIVE. I have contacted them on numerous occasions and emailed their customer service team as well - yet no response. Take your money and business elsewhere. Been a customer for barely 2 years and they tried to up my rent $100 yet you can clearly go online and purchase a new one for a difference of $5 from what I'm currently paying. Their gate has been broken for a month now and yet there has been ZERO NOTIFICATIONS to any of their customers regarding this and the change of hours to access their units - as this has now been limited. Spend your money elsewhere. Big corps don't care about people only dollar signs. Take your money to self owned companies where they actually care about their customers!! read more

Very friendly staff. Staff helped me out with how to get to my storage unit, showed me how to get to my unit, and answered all my questions. Staff even provided more infor about facility then even the website gave. Also staff knew who I was when I finally got time to get to my storage unit. My experience has been horrible, I really don't understand any good reviews at this place. The property Manager Martin has been really rude and nosey, evertime I come to my storage he comes to my unit and bothers us with a million questions and won't leave me and my family alone . He has threatened to cut my gate hours to 6:00 P.M. and even told me he was going to end my contract for having someone come to my unit to pick something up. I had to go through .my storage of everything I had because I was scared I wouldnt be able to get my STUFF out, I had to ravage through my deceased Mother's belongings scared I was going to lose them. MY STORAGE PAY.ENT WASH due I tried to get my stuff out on 3 separate occasions but i couldn't access my unit, I don't feel comfortable going there anymore . I had 2 units of stuff from a 5000 sq ft house I moved out of. I still have another unit of stuff. But I don't want to continue with the space there. I beleive the comments are fake that are written good about him , I see him.harassing others also. He tries to bribe he customers to leave a good review by saying they could win prizes.. I have also found cigarette buts in my storage and I'm.a non smoker. MARTIN has also been stalking my social media and my Son's telling me what I have forsale on Facebook. I really don't think it's appropriate for a Property Manager to access my Personal info and use it against me. I have called customer service several times not even a call back. read more

Rented a unit out 10x15 not a bad price $109. But went there yesterday to start to fill my unit and the gate closes at 9 pm. I thought these places were open 24hrs. I put 1 load in unit got done at 830pm then went to fill up trailer again ( I live about 30 minutes away ) so I go home fill trailer back up and head back to storage facility. I get there but door won't open, says call this number. So I call 1/2 hr on hold and finally get through. Sorry closes at 9 pm re- opens at 6 am . The message says call for after hr entry there is no such thing was told its only for people stuck inside (WHAT?). So I had to leave my stuff in trailer outside overnight hoping for it not to rain and that nobody would take my stuff. The hrs aren't posted on door and when we went to get unit the man that helped us never mention open and close times. Now I didn't ask because I figured it was open 24 hrs. The guy leaves at 6 so the building is left unattended for 3 hrs anyway so why not all night. I'm just not happy but I got a good price ..... read more
