I have used this facility for the past few years after a house fire. TERRIBLE is the word used for my overall experience. Items stolen through the chicken wire used at the top of my unit. OVERCHARGING. My unit is supposed to be $189.00 a month with insurance. This month, January 2025, I am being charged $504.00 with insurance for the same 5X5 unit and no one will do anything about it. The poor reputation of this location is well earned. STAY AWAY. The office answers my calls but they have no power to correct mistakes and their seems to be no one that they can call. read more

BY FAR THE WORST. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. My furniture and items all had mold on them after storing them at Public Storage. They claim that the facility is "climate controlled," but the last two times I went, it was clear the air conditioning was not working. To make matters worse, I scheduled my move out date online for August 1 and cancelled my auto pay as instructed and was still charged FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH OF AUGUST. I have called three times and left messages because I refuse to pay this, especially since my furniture and items are covered in mold. I have not heard back from anyone. One of those places that stores your possessions for a nominal cost and you realize just how much junk you own. I'm going to be moving in April and have a son going into the Army in January, so we've begun taking things that we aren't using. I really should have a garage sale. Climate controlled units. Friendly staff. You can enter your unit until 9pm, but the "office" closes at six. I've see a few people that make me think they are living in their storage unit there late at nite, but I haven't reported them. My unit is $160 a month, and I think to myself, that at $160 a month, someone, somewhere, just might need to live in their unit. But that is not allowed, so I hope they aren't. They lock the dollies up inside the office onces its closed, so if you have heavy items to move, you should do so before they close for the night. You have to leave your driver license with them to use the dollies. read more

This is supposed to be a climate controlled facility. You would never know it. Temp is not supposed to get above 73 degrees. I was just there a few days ago and it was hot on 2nd floor, especially. THERE ARE ALSO GNATS EVERYWHERE!!! I have 3 units here and wish I could move my stuff. I have complained and met another unit renter outside that was disgusted and complained, too. I need to find another storage place as soon as I can find the time. Ridiculous! I dread going into this place. It was so much nicer and well taken care of when it was owned by Life Storage. Uuuggg. I will never rent from Public Storage again. I have came out here three times trying to access the gate with the gate code that they gave me for after hour service and I could not access the elevators to get to my unit. That is false advertisement and poor customer service. You need not give customers a access code to enter the gate if they cannot access their space of which they rented. And to have that alarm going off every 2 seconds is nerve-wracking. read more

Do not waste your $ or your time there. My unit was 3018 and I purchased insurance for my items & public storage still are not helping me recover these items. 3018 sat in between 3016 & 3020. When we removed all of our items we noticed pieces of our bed room set was missing. We called public storage & they informed me to call my insurance company. At this point both sides are giving me the run around. For your own safety, I would not suggest this property to anyone. I would give this property no stars if I could. read more

Extreme price gouging. If you don't pay online, customer service will charge you a $20 fee to process your payment over the phone. It's not always convenient to pay online and they take full advantage of people who may not have access to the internet at that time or may not want to make payments online. read more

Rent started at $171 and increased EVERY 6 months. The customer service attendants are never there. They leave a note on the door stating they will be back, but don't come back at the time indicated. the place is very clean and secure, but the constant increase in price is just too much for me. I live oversees and have been using storage units for the last 4 years. I left my last place because I wanted my unit closer to my family so they could easily access it if there is a need. For the previous 3 years, I did not have an increase in rent al all. I will NEVER rent from them again. read more

This company is so predatory. Shortly after you store your items the rate goes up. Be delayed with your payment, even just for a few days, then you start getting bombarded by phone calls that make you feel like something terrible is about to happen ("Extremely urgent" is a typical line used). Then they put a note on your bill saying that your items are about to be auctioned off. With this kind of business practice, I would rather keep my items at home. read more

Read fine print! Public Storage is a ripped off and its other storage places in the area that's cheaper and without the hidden fees. That 1st month shit is some cramp and the unit price can be increase without notice just because thats some bullshit, Max Storage down the street is $138 monthly and insurance is option not mandatory plus their units are climate control as well. But this the kicker PS will prorate the unit for move-in but they cant for move out aint that some BS you Must pay full rent even if its only for 2-5 days full 30 day storage unit. This is the worst storage place that I've ever experienced! I called to make reservations for a small storage unit and was given a quote via email. At the end of the conversation the representative suggested that I try a different public storage facility because they were closer to my home. I asked if there would be any difference in the services and was told no. At that time my account was transferred to the desert Public Storage location. Upon my arrival, I had to wait 20 minutes for the location to open because they were on break. Mind you, I had an appointment at 4:45. After calling the corporate office, employees began to arrive. Who does that? When you're running a business , you alternate lunchtimes to avoid missing potential clients or those who have appointments. That apparently was not important. Not only were they very relaxed and never apologize for being late, they were super slow in processing my paperwork. First they showed me the unit, then they slowly processed additional paperwork. It wasn't until after my credit card was ran and I was about to sign the paperwork that I noticed the rate that I was quoted and what was in the email to me was double the amount. When I ask why the representative if you could call her that, without regard for customer service, she said didn't they tell you at the other location that prices vary from location to location? I stated no but I would think that between that location and you that someone would have told me this prior to running my credit card. She was more than not helpful and really didn't seem to care what was going on. I wouldn't recommend this location to my worst enemy nor a dog. The employees, only two on-site that day, we're awful and Unapologetic. After the representative called the property manager, the property manager stated that she would not honor the price that I was given in writing or otherwise. My take is that she's willing to lose business altogether than to be reasonable and honor would Public Storage as a company gave me in writing. I am super disappointed in this location, management, and Public Storage as a company. read more

Beware of this place! First of all they always have a 1st month $1 promotion to lure you in. Secondly, the prices increases over the course of your storage lease! Thirdly, your valuable items are going to be stolen! Majority of my items were stolen and I truly believe that it was an inside job! My lock was not broken at all which leads me to think that! I will never use Public Storage facilities anywhere in the nation and I encourage you not to use them as well.
