Had an issue with the property manager not being at either of the locations they were meant to or answering calls then being told to drive to a 3rd location to give them back their lock for a refund, but thankfully the district manager reached out to me an hour after the whole ordeal and refunded me the charge. Rough impression up front on customer service but I was impressed by their fast follow up and handling by the district manager. Great rates, easy move in process. Just would recommend some easier system of returning their provided lock. read more

Yes finally a great deal we could not resist. Calling around to so many others their first month was just ridiculous. The lady was very polite over the phone and nice in person. My Mom and Dad were pleased with the unit they chose and the monthly prices. The area was nice as well right off the interstate too, Colorado Springs is just so beautiful it make me miss living in Thornton,CO. read more

Gene is the best. His "second mile" customer service flow has been super helpful and encouraging in the chaos of moving. I'll rent a storage unit here again just because of him. Public Storage is also very organized with its user-friendly website and communication. No surprise charges. Even has an ap you can download that can be used to open the gate. Gene is the manager of this location. He's a very nice, helpful, upstanding dude. I really appreciate him today! I don't live in the Springs, so I'm a bit unfamiliar with the area, although visit frequently. I had reserved on-line a storage unit for my daughter who does live here but is leaving for a few months, so putting her things in storage. Toward the end of the day as the movers were packing, I thought I better call the storage company and was told I needed to be there to sign contract sooner than I thought. I left the movers to finish up and took off all the way across town to the Edison Rd. location. I was late. And then he laughed at me for being at the wrong location. He was rather rude and said, "They stop doing contracts in 5 minutes, so good luck, as he laughed." Gene on the other hand, at the Sinton Rd Public Storage... I called him 5 minutes before closing and told him of Mr predicament and he not only listened, but he empathised, and said, "Don't you worry about it, I will wait for you, drive careful.". I got there 20 minutes after closing and he was there, waiting for me, with nothing but smiles. A fine gentleman, representing the company well. Thank you, Gene! You saved my butt! read more

It was really easy and convenient for me to get a unit online. However I chose public storage for the $1 first month that was advertised and I got charged full price and can't figure out why I don't get the discount. I literally just got my unit. Otherwise everything else has been fast, easy, and timely. If I had recieved the discount I would've given a 5 start review because it was very pleasant and perfect timing. read more

After paying the bill for eight years I realized that my bill had increased to $341/mo. I asked to have it reduced since I could rent a new unit for $261/mo. at the same facility. They came back and told me they would reduce the monthly charge by $1.00. So, I moved out! I was a great customer who paid and kept the unit clean. I can't believe they said.....we don't want you! I am simply leaving a one star so this review was noticed. Otherwise I probably would've given it two. Every manager on site at this public storage or staff member I have come across is very kind. This one star is not because of them. This one star is because I had a 33% increase on my rate and then Over a 33% increase on my rate again which is beyond inflation or market value. The one star absolutely comes from me trying to talk to someone over the phone with customer service and only ever getting automated responses. A few times I was placed on hold for 45 minutes. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced because there is none. I will be moving out. Their self titled "We Care" Phone number and email is one of the most ironic things I have seen. I actually laughed out loud about this. But once again, the staff on site are very kind and they are not put in a good position by their supervisors. read more

Very nice people, prices reasonable. I wish they had 24 hour access though, but hey overall exactly what we need.

Gene is very nice man however the store hours are terrible. They changed the hours to access your personal belongings to 9:30 am to 6 pm, those are not good working hours and when working with a moving company this causes issues. Nobody starts a day at 9:30 in am nobody. 8 am is a reasonable hour to open your location. I will not rent from here again knowing these hours. They changed the hours while I was already there. read more

This particular property has a 24 hour live monitoring system that means that someone is always watching the blanket coverage camera system, 24/7. Typical Bait and Switch Rental, My rental rate increased by almost $30.00 in a 5 month period. I blame corporate since speaking with them was less than cordial, the Customer Service Rep. stated "that's to bad you are upset by the rate increase, but it is an executive decision and there is nothing you can do about it". When I asked to speak to speak to someone else she stated that there is nothing you can do, and refused to give me a number to anyone else. Avoid Public if you are thinking about long term storage, Use someone based in Colorado Springs, and not a National Company. read more
