WARNING- this place is infested with rats, roaches and estt. I rented unit 2001 space size a 10x20 move in date the 17th of July 2025 and when I went to move my things in there I saw rat poop, dead roaches and other insects. The unit was very dirty with trash all over the floor. I canceled it and waiting for my refund. This is one of the reasons they imposed on you having insurance with their insurance company and paying a higher monthly fee for insurance because they know your things will be infested so if you rent a space here it's at your own risk. My fiancé and I were in a rush to find a storage unit to fit a trailer in it since we were moving in a few days. We had a few issues with lack of correct information given by phone employees of public storage but Mike and Geoff were able to help us sort it all out and in a great timely manner. BAIT & SWITCH SCAM- DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!! Guaranteed Promo price offered online was $1.00 for first month rental. Arrived at location rental office, no one on the property, I called the agent and filled out the paperwork online (30 minutes on the phone). Final lease price was switched from $1.00 for the first month to $200. Agent indicated he could not adjust the price but would TRY and process a difference refund in a few days. I sat in front of the rental office for 1 hour waiting for the property manager....who never showed up. Never going back, total waste of time. read more

It stated first month a dollar, but that's not true. It's actually close to $50. The charge you an administration fee, charge for a lock and charge for insurance. I was told I could cancel the insurance by calling, they gave me the brochure. So that is not true, I called and guy said I had to do it at the storage facility or on line, but the guy at the front desk said I had to call. So got on line and even though it says click here to cancel insurance-there is nothing there to allow you to cancel. Nothing! I just dislike false advertising. Don't say the first month is a $1, if it is not. Don't give me the run around on cancelling the insurance. I dislike being lied too. The unit prices are fairly reasonable. read more

Just know that when they tell you that the first month is 50% off or a dollar it's not because they are always going to add on their processing fee which has gotten more and more expensive over time. They are also going to force you to buy their $20 lock you sign up online you cannot cancel the insurance you have to accept it no matter what and then you have to go to the office to get it removed. That adds another $15 to your bill each month. Also know that your rent is probably going to increase about every 6 months by anywhere from 20 to 30%. Also, I've never seen such rude staff in my entire life. We reserved a unit online and it specifically says hold this unit for me and ask for your move-in date. It was early in the week and I could not get there until Friday so I just hit hold. I didn't have all the information with me to put in a driver's license number and take it all the way through to the end but I thought this would be good enough. When we got there to rent the unit and finish the paperwork they told me they didn't have any units of that size. They then informed me that putting a hold on it they can still rent it out from under you so if you don't pay for it immediately online you can be out of luck by the time you get there. They then tried to get me to rent a unit that was only about 30 sqft larger for 100 extra dollars per month. I noticed they didn't bother trying to ask if there was any way I could go down to a smaller unit only tried to sell me something much much more expensive. read more

Public Storage was secure and looked nice but while my stuff was being stored in a unit on their property there was a leak in the roof that went into my unit. The leak ended up flooding our unit and ruined the majority of what we had stored there. The staff was very nice about it but I would recommend good insurance if you are going to use Public Storage. read more

just so everybody knows that when you sign a contract with this dishonest,and misleading company they forget to mention that they securitize your contract and sell it on the nyse. they are a real-estate ivestment trust. (reit) all of this is public information you can look up there trust indenture on sec.gov. this company refuses to send you a paper statement in the mail. but that is all explained in the indenture, they are book entry securities without coupons. aka payment coupons. by securitizing your contract and selling it on the market. they are unjustly enriching themselves on your behalf, and the monthly bill they give you is what they are suppose to be paying you from selling your security on the market. they are transfered to a depository trust and they are suppose to inform you of your dividend payments, but they always seem to forget. therefor after a certain amount of time it becomes unclaimed funds, and they gift it to their trust. stay away from this place. the customer service is non existant throughout the whole company. and this particular location has no lights for the outside units where my unit was located. read your contracts if you do decide to rent from these theivs. go to sec.gov and look up their prospectus. or just type it into google. it tells you everything. worst company i have ever dealt with by far. read more

Disappointed. So far everyone I have encountered at this location has been professional and courteous. I had had the unfortunate encounter two separate times with Sherry. Yesterday was the last business I will conduct. Both times I've spoke to this woman she has been nasty, unprofessional, and extremely rude. She's snarky, and condescending then hangs up. When you call back she refuses to answer the phone. I've complained about her nasty attitude before, and I will NOT spend one more of my hard earned money on a business that keeps people like that on staff. I called yesterday to get answers on why my bill was going up 20%, instead of empathy and compassion she was extremely rude, hung up me, and refused to answer the phone when I called back. This is the second time she has behaved like this which tells me that your company clearly doesn't care how your staff represents your brand. I filed a complaint with corporate yesterday because I have a right to question my bill. Thank you Sherry for making my decision easier on moving! read more

I have had nothing but horrible experience with this company. I took out an online reservation and when I showed up move-in day they informed me that they didn't reserve the unit but they reserve the price! I asked him what that meant and they said they could give me a different unit for the same price but then they didn't have another unit to give me! So they sent me to another location and when I got there they said they have the unit I wanted, but they wouldn't honor the price!! It was over $100 more a month! So I went to a third location where I was able to get the unit at the price I reserved. Now a few months in, I have rats chewing on my boxes, they jacked my rates, and apparently security at this facility as a joke. The main door into the warehouse is stuck wide-open, and they've informed me it's been open for days! They're waiting for corporate to approve a work order. Anyone can and did the tailgate through the main gate and just walking to the building. Signed up for a unit on saturday night. Decided Saturday night to use my spare bedroom for storage and went Sunday morning to cancel my unit. They would not refund any of my money. I called there corporate office today and they were very nasty to me. I suggest to whoever is renting a storage to read their contract good before signing. Would not recommend at all. read more
