Three rate hikes in two years. Now being asked for more than double what it started at. They weren't low-dollar to begin with and now they are just plain unaffordable. Will be moving soon. Its a beautiful, clean facility but WAY out of balance for cost per sq ft. read more

I have had this storage unit almost 14 years. I had no issue with the people who work at the facility. They have always been very courteous. My issue is with the fact that, since Public Storage took over this facility, my unit has doubled in price...two rate hikes IN A YEAR'S TIME! As a long-time customer, I hate to relocate my things, but I can't afford twice the rent. The appeal of keeping the unit for as long as I have was that it was affordable. Since it's no longer affordable, I have to make some really hard decisions and either relocate or dump my memories. read more

I started renting my unit at $166. Within a year I was paying $245. The facility is ok, the only thing I did not like is a move out was scheduled without my consent. My husband went to try and move everything out of the unit yesterday. He said someone on property saw him moving and asked was he moving out and he replied yes. Next thing I know I get a text message and an email saying I was vacating. I tried to call the facility for hours and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. The issue I have with that is my husband is not on my storage account and has no authorization to put in a notice to vacate. They didn't verify his name, check the account, see if he was actually listed anywhere, they literally just put in a vacate notice. My husband was not planning on moving everything out that day but at that point he had no choice which resulted in him having to throw boxes of my stuff away because it didn't fit. At the least I should've received a phone call and ASKED if I was actually vacating the unit. That should never happen, he could've been anyone. read more

They took over storage land with no notice. They're not interested in customer service satisfaction. I simply tried paying my bill 3 different ways today and they made it very inconvenient for me. I went to the front desk with cash, they refused. I had to deposit cash in a almost virtual bank. (Capital One) so I had to drive 10 miles out of the way to do this. I called to pay the bill over the phone I was told I would have to pay $20.00 extra to do that. Their option was pay on line (which was inconvenient because I'm driving and doing errands before work) or drive back and pay with my card, which is also very inconvenient. I've never seen such a unprofessional company. I will get my stuff out of PUBLIC STORAGE ASAP!!!! Never will they trick me into business with again and I pray they don't get You! read more

Easy to deal with and the area around my indoor climate controlled storage is immaculately clean.

I was late paying my rental fee and they cut off my lock, then went through my unit and ransacked all of my items, when I paid the unit and came to put my lock on it, I opened it to find they had opened all of the boxes and threw items all over the unit, I believe they went through the unit thinking I was going to lose it to Auction but I didn't and they had to return all of the items so they would not be charged with theft! read more
