I've been here few days ago. Awesome place inside, roomy and with a pretty fancy internal style.
I'd have loved to experience some typical food and drinks but, hey, this is clearly an Irish pub, so I've ended up ordering a simple burger and a soda. The burger was bad: the patty was of very poor quality, clearly precooked and barely heated up (well, it was cold, very cold); the bun was crunchy and clearly not a good fit for the dish.
When I saw "cheddar" mentioned on the menu I felt sorry and sad. This place is yards away from several typical creameries and the area is rich in good food but here a choice to offer bad industrial "cheddar" has been made. I really cannot explain why.
I would love to try this place again for a second chance, in which case I'll be updating this review. But my time in the area is running out, so I'm not sure this is gonna happen.
Suggestion for the managers: enhance the choices on the menu with real local food and spare the customers the embarrassing experience of consuming food that would be qualified as "ridiculous" even in the US and UK. Please. read more
