Restrooms for Men and Women and a Family restroom as well. 4 outside shower heads and 1 private shower/ changing station . Spacious walkway leading you to the sand and ocean . It has a volley ball net out front near parking lot and a long bench on the decking to sit and enjoy the game . Large parking lot with handicap parking also a ramp Incase you can't do the steps ( though not many ) The only thing I can say this Access needs is bench seating at the end of the walkway. That way you can enjoy the beach without the sand if that's what you prefer . Also someone who is handicap could sit and enjoy the ocean for a while . No fun standing up !!! 6/23/20 The road way to the beach is not to far from the…read moreocean. The steps up to the ocean are designed for the handicapped or people carrying a lot of stuff. You can take the direct approach and just walk up the stairs if you want to. However, for the handicapped, there is no easy way of getting down the stairs to the hot sandy beach...most wheelchairs won't do well in soft sand. For those who did get into the ocean or are just covered in sweat, there is a shower at the bottom of the stairs. There is also a Portable Pottie too. This is if you can make it from the beach to the toilet. Hopefully it's not occupied. Your other two options are back to the place you're staying...or an aqua dump off in the ocean...its less messy...but... Anyhow, I have passed this parking lot/beach access many times but never thought about it. Guess when you are stay at another person's house, you notice things you might not have noticed before. Ths time is now 16:31 (4:31pm) and today has been a lazy day. I did go on the ocean, but I had to do it alone. Tomorrow maybe a different story. From the house I am staying at, I can see the comings and goings of family's visiting or leaving the beach.

Every morning, my mom and I would grab a cup of coffee and head down to the beach. It was a 4 minute walk from our air bnb and there was even a boardwalk to cross. You do have to cross the main highway though. Most people stop for pedestrians. Those that don't, are clearly not locals. The beach is beautiful to watch the sunrise. It is a great spot to collect shells, and see jelly fish bodies washed ashore, and crabs making tunnels in the sand. The stars at night are breathtaking, and like nothing I have viewed before and I have been to some country areas far away from city lights.

The beach was clean and there were lots of shells. Camp spots were aplenty with space. Not crowded. The camp ranger Scott was a pleasure to converse with. A wonderful and intelligent man. The beach was beyond belief, free of crowds and noise and litter. Just watch the waves crashing is like pushing a reset button. The sunrise this morning was perfection itself. My only complaint here? The dang golf carts! These people drive like they are immune to traffic laws and physics, pulling out in front of my three ton RV that would crush them flat. Yes, there is a 20 mile per hour speed limit on the island and I adhered to it, but wow. Look out for these people zipping in and around parking lots.
