Vegetarian Omelette with Avocado ! Great !
Kimberley K.

I really don't understand why they don't get higher review marks on Yelp. The ambiance here is so cool & comfortable. Very clean. Wait Staff extremely accommodating. I asked for a special meal with only specific vege's in my omelette and extra toasted ( fried ) breakfast potatoes.... Every time I have been here they have always come through on my requests in a spectacular way. I think this restaurant will be a part of my weekly breakfast lineup ( when I'm in Vegas ) Also.... Lots of great parking & no congestion. Away from strip

Very clean and organized. The bathrooms were clean and that always makes people feel more welcomed to stay. The music selection is very good. They have a pool table and a virtual gold machine. The staff were very pleasant and and attentive. Always made sure we were okay and comfortable. A decent amount of food selections as far as bar food. Cooked to order so the food was fresh and enjoyable. Decent location off of Las Vegas Blvd.

Once in a while comfort eats is where it's at. Shall we eat?

Pub style eats with southern comforts and a homey atmosphere this is a truly wonderful experience. The employees are your family; or so it seems. Our guide this trip go around was Evette, what a great and attentive individual. Mike and I make quite and entrance together and Evette picked up in that vibe and new friends are made. Who just loves to go to a local "place" and know that ya are cared for and appreciated. Over here! Let's go into some history shall we, class is in. Shhh, get ya pencils ready; PT Golds is owned by Lakes Entertainment, formerly Golden Gaming. Lakes Entertainment provides many wonderful new experiences for dining, entertainment, and gambling in throughout Nevada. This company owns Sierra Golds too. Around the Fall of 2017 Lakes became the largest tavern and slot operator in Nevada, so the company knows their stuff. They are spending a lot to remodel and reopen the "pub style," experience with excellence here in Nevada. Amen, to the old style Smokey Pubs that while were decent, were not great. This is Vegas, and come on its needs to be the best with sparkles and glittery lights. Light and glam aside this pub here keeps it real, with decent eats, family style employees, and sheer exceptional excellence. The company would not stand for anything below average. After a morning of gym and just life, ya know our appetites needed wetting. Being locals, I don't want to drive far so been meaning to try here for a minute, it happened to be today. We sit at one of the booths way in the far west corner and this booth is big for those larger parties or nice and large for when ya want to get intimately close to that "special," someone. Sparks always flying when we show up, so the waitress before we knew, Evette; and that she was family said she would bring a menu around. Evette has been serving for a minute and has a keen knack for detail; much appreciated in a glitz and glam type town. We ordered iced tea and water, no drinks in the early mornin; today. It's all about breakfast today we had Hamburger and Eggs plate and Typical breakfast platter that consists of bacon, hash browns, toast and eggs; just the basics. As I was ordering those wings were talking to me too; eat me. So, it was breakfast with a side of wings. We were so hungry that ya wonder where breakfast went, that was fast. As Mike was eating the Hamburger and Eggs, our girl Evette seemed nervous and just kept coming around; Mike picked up on her off behavior, he's been around a minute. She noticed that he was not eating his burger; it was due to the fact that it was puck style. No one, especially a man that "needs" steak daily can put up with dry and tough hamburger. Evette corrected this and even took it off the check without any hesitation. We did not even have to ask. That is the level headed employees and family style individuals that call this establishment their "job." Evette sat up with us and explained that her company is amazing; especially her location. She was employed at the Golds on Cheyenne and needed something closer to home; now she's my guide for all things pub when I stop by. With out meal done and our talk with Evette finished it's time to head home. Y'all come back, that should be their motto. Now here's my issues with Golds, but solvable; even Evette agrees. Golds, ya need steak and eggs; or "steak" in some form on the menu. Men need steak. Evette was explaining that this local used to have steak and eggs, but they took it off the menu because it did not sell. So let's help the steak sell, please Golds bring it back. Now Evette was politely reminded us that Sierra's on Eastern, while a four mile drive has some of the best steak around. We will be having this our next visit. This location is so fantastic and here's another reason why. This Golds has been open for a minute. When they closed the T-bird Lounge on Eastern all the employees needed a place to work; where to do ya think they all went. Hmm, how about with the new company location that they are now employed with? The customers that were local to T-birds came too. Mind ya it's a four mile drive for a beer. For the customer to follow , exactly. Located right off the I 15 and Cactus, get some gas for your ride and yourself. Evette was my guide to fun and relaxing services, maybe ya will benefit from her vast skills and knowledge too. Locals this is up in our area, with Raiders coming we need down to earth, locally loved establishments to keep us feeling good about living and getting away from the lights and glam of Vegas. For ya tourists, hopefully, understand Vegas is chaos and working with the public ya need a break from that; trust. This is a genius article. After all that driving ya need a good meal maybe a drink that will not cost ya all your money yet. Let's go then, take it from a local and purveyor of the fine side of Vegas this is where it's at.

Been quite a long time since I've been to a PT's. They used to be one of my favorite bars years ago. My friend brought me here for an early birthday dinner and drinks. They do have an amazing happy hour, and it's 7 days a week! We got a few appetizers(pretzel cheese curds, ride Mac n cheese, chicken and waffle bites)and a pizza(BBQ chicken and ranch on thin crust) to share between the three of us. Everything was pretty delicious, but I definitely liked the pizza more than the apps. The bartenders are really friendly. There is even a tv facing in all directions so you will be sure not to miss any sport team you intend to wach. The do have a pool table, but I did find out that they don't have a jukebox(i overheard another patron asking about this). I wasn't too worried about the missing jukebox because the music provided wasn't too bad. It was very reminiscent of the music I listened to in high school. This bar is so close to my home, I can definitely see myself stopping in here from time to time.

We got the: -Tider Sliders; cooked medium: there were no onions, the patties were super dry and very well done, and 2 of them had no cheese and the one that did have cheese had this like sad, dried up slice of cheese on it. - Hangover Skillet; over medium eggs: there were no biscuits, the country fried steak was like finely chopped, the potatoes were glued together in one big glob of cheese. Like it was strange. And the eggs came scrambled. -Crab Cakes: came burnt to a black char, and served on this weird, somehow, both mushy and dry rice stuff. Like it wasn't a normal rice it was like a solid mush of rice that was like dried out. -Onion Rings: they didnt have an onion inside them. It was like a ring of onion flavored batter (??) and we didn't understand what was happening with that. -A sweet potato as a side: we were given sweet potato fries and not a sweet potato (there were also sweet potato fries on the menu but we didnt order the fries, we ordered the sweet potato. -French Onion Soup: missing completely - Macaroni Salad: it was orange?? And couldn't tell what it tasted like but it didn't taste good. -garlic bread: it was literally wet. Like wet. The sauce that came with the sweet potato fries was bomb and I am sad to not ever have that sauce again because we DEFINITELY wont ever get food from Flowing Tide Pub ever again.

The chicken fried chicken was really good, the chicken was juicy and flavorful, the mashed potatoes were nice and fluffy...I was shocked. The Quesobirria tacos were also good, tons of flavor and plenty of cheese. The triple play was decent, the avocado smash was the best thing on the plate there. The cheesecake though, ABSOLUTELY STUNNIN! Good flavor, good texture and whatever sauce it was swimming in, perfection. The service, started off really good but our waitress disappeared and others were filling in for her but didn't clear the dirty dishes, so the dirty dishes were piled up and they served dessert with dirty dishes still crowding the table. Not the end of the world but it was strange. Otherwise, love this place, will be back for bourbon night.

But let's get straight to the issue- the HOSPITALITY! I don't like being negative- I want local businesses to thrive and reach more people, but I need to add this bit of criticism- Lately, coming here feels like you're rolling the dice- and going out to eat and being treated well shouldn't have to feel like a gamble. When I dine here, I don't feel welcome. The bartenders make it clear that they cater to some regulars more than others. It takes the bartender half an hour to get us started with drinks and a menu to look at the food. It's crazy- I come here so often know some of this establishment's staff by name now and yet, I'm met with this recent disservice- The other night I arrive here with my girlfriend to grab some food around 1 am. I see the bartender, Ryan, zooming around, refilling beer and shots, going in and out of the kitchen. It's not that busy of a Friday night- maybe a handful of couples and groups all sitting at the bar. He passed SEVERAL times by me, no acknowledgement, no "Hey, bear with me, I'll be right with ya." 1:30. He finally comes to us apologizing, gets us started on drinks and hands us the menu. We take a couple of minutes to decide. He stands around by the Pos and talks to another bartender (Andrew I think?), who came from the kitchen, then immediately left. Another 10-15 minutes pass. By this point, I was wondering if I should just walk out. Finally, Ryan comes to take our orders. Typically, a server or bartender leads the conversation, right? I'm sure you hear things like "what can I get started for you," or "how would you like your eggs cooked" or "how would you like your Steak cooked" - You've all heard those before, right? Well- nothing. No cue. No asking anything. It felt awkward. Uncomfortable. Unwelcoming. I don't even know if he was paying attention. At one point, it was ME who was the one asking my girlfriend "How do you want your eggs cooked?" when she asked to get the Steak and Eggs because there was ZERO response coming from our bartender to anything we said. The energy felt COMPLETELY off, so I just asked then and there for the check and left off to grab some Cane's instead. An absolutely dismal experience. I don't like making my reviews about me, but I felt like I needed to explain exactly why I'm upset about my recent visits here so anyone reading this can better understand instead of just reading a vague mention of how rude the staff was. Let's get to the Good Bar Bites I recommend if you do come here (maybe day time could give you a different experience): WSKY Burger- I recommend a medium on the patty! Very juicy- the crunch of the onion rings and candied bacon- One of my favorite burgers! Steakhouse sliders- tasty and sharable mini burgers! Although- I need some clarification- Can modifications be made to this dish? One day, while ordering over the phone, a bartender named Zach told me I cannot add an extra slider (I wanted 4 sliders instead of just the 3 that come on the order), I'd have to purchase two whole orders if I wanted more. What's this about? I've never had that issue before, so just curious. Flatbread Pizza- of course pizza is always awesome to munch on. The crunch on the flatbread is so satisfying I honestly don't think I'll be coming here anytime soon. It sucks. The bar looks beautiful, the food is delicious. But why have I been treated like an outsider lately? It's not worth going to a place, even if it has good food, if you're not going to be treated well.

It appeared they had 2 waitresses to cover the entire footprint outside of the bar and our small group had waited 15 minutes before I finally decided to get up from the tall table against the wall that we were at and go to the bar to order drinks and asked the bartender if there was a server for the area we were in, she said yes and I asked if she would send them over so we can order food. Another 10 minutes later, someone comes over and takes our food order...and that's after my husband was told by a waitress in the area that we weren't in her section so she couldn't help us....but then later comes over to us after we have our food to check on us and see if we need anything....uhm what?!? All this while the manager is laughing it up with this couple at the bar...while facing us. Made eye contact with him several times and the way he was friendly with these other customers was not the same service he was giving to anyone else. He saw us without drinks, saw us with menus and no one approaching to take our order and still did not move from the behind the bar, but was also seen helping with drinks for everyone seated at the bar....when there were already 2 bartenders there. The food was okay, but I was already so frustrated with the lack of service and the service we did get was severely lacking....I just wanted to finish eating and leave. A friend brought up going back to watch one of the VGK playoff games since it's close to where we live, but I just could not be convinced to go and deal with such poor customer service again. It's a bummer because they have a lot of nice seating surrounding the bar...but the service seems to be focused on people sitting at the bar. Oh well! Plenty of other bars in the area!

Plenty of parking in the shopping center, the signage is very prominent so there is no mistaking where you're going. Walking in the front door, you feel like you're home again. Lots of cool artwork on the walls, a very wood-based environment, has a country charm to it with a modern upscale feel. We went there for appetizers as we were on a time crunch, so we ordered the blueberry chicken sliders, the corn ribs, and the blueberry chicken wings. I had heard about these for the longest time, and everyone said they were amazing. Well I'm here to tell you that they 100% are! The corn ribs were wonderful with the cilantro dipping sauce. The only thing that would have made them better is if they would have put some Jalisco cheese on it and made it a little more like street corn. But hey who am I to complain about these corn ribs? I ate them all. The blueberry chicken sliders were absolutely off the charts! I had heard about these several times. People saying things like they are the absolute best to your taste. Buds will be stunned for days. Well, they weren't wrong, these sliders were absolutely wonderful. And we cannot forget the blueberry smoked chicken wings. These things were so well cooked and the seasoning was perfect and the blueberry softs on top took it to a whole other dimension. I would eat probably three or four more plates of these. I'm looking forward to going back there for dinner, as they had plenty of options on the menu. Such as brisket, ribs and so forth. Definitely going back for round two. Bottom line? You cannot go wrong with this place. Do yourself a favor, take some friends, and get all of the aforementioned appetizers. Your taste buds will. Thank you!
