It's PT's. This location is bigger than other ones I've visited. Let me just get to the food I recently ate. The nachos are not 5 star or my favorite as they use the liquid cheese. But I don't have much complaints, you come and eat after a couple drinks or when hunger strikes at 2am., and by then, it is pretty good. The chicken strips with buffalo sauce is actually one of my favorite here. I can't believe I'm speaking such blasphemy, but, a friend of mine was shocked at how good it was. So let's just say I may not be cray cray after all. Pizza tastes like cardboard. I say stick with the chicken strips, tater tots (shockingly tasted like butter) and nachos (no meat is what I get). DO NOT EAT HERE! Worst service I've had in a very long time, and that's saying something from a very understanding someone who used to serve herself! I arrived at this location at 7:40. I work at the hospital down the road, and had just gotten off of a 12 hour night shift. I visit this location on occasion and have been served by both the night shift and day shift bartender. The night shift bartender was not prompt about greeting me. I had to wait 10 minutes to place my drink order. My beer was brought to me, and I was told the female day shift bartender would be over shortly to grab my food order. 15 minutes go by before the female comes to greet me. "So did you want to actually order food or what?" I politely order cheese fries, as my appetite for anything larger had dissipated. She snatched the menu from me and walked away. She returned a moment later asking for my ID, as the night shift bartender did not ask to see it. I presented her with my temporary ID from the DMV. She said "that's fake; I cannot serve you." I assured her that the paper ID I presented was adequate; I just printed it last night. She continued to say it was fake, even after I showed her my DMV reciept and the mobile copy on my phone. I even told her she had served me before with an adequate ID, don't I look the least bit familiar? "I serve hundreds; get out of my bar." Needless to say, I was forced out with no breakfast (which is really what I came for), stunned by how disrespectful someone could act. We split the Anna here dip which comes in a bread bowl w tri colored chips. Kinda wish it came in a regular bowl so I can get as much dip as possible instead of it being stuck to the bread bowl lol. Our server Tiffany was friendly and energetic as well. Overall a chill place & they got happy hour w/limited food menu (flatbread, pizzas, chicken parm sliders etc) for $ cheap and 50% some drinks. 5-7pm then again at 12am. I've been to every single bar (PTs and not) around the Rhodes Ranch area...but this one is THE place to go. Seriously. The staff is what makes this place outstanding, I've been coming here for years and yet to have a less than stellar experience! Jen and Christian are ridiculously awesome, attentive, and all around good people who just want to enjoy their day and help you enjoy yours! Since the first day I walked in, I've always been given the same exceptional service, and after three years, it's great to walk in and hear, "Hey, how's XYZ been?" by the time I sit down! The rest of the bartenders are equally as cool (I'm sorry I don't know all of your names!), and PS - I've had the best Bloody Mary of my life here! The head cook comes from a long line of high end restaurants who just REALLY enjoys working in a smaller venue...and you can tell how much love he has for his craft! He puts this location a step above the surrounding bars by making average bar food taste excellent! Coming from that high end background, he often comes out to ask how everyone liked their order, something you never see in actual restaurants anymore! On top of the service, there's a lot of (normal, not overly blitzed or annoying) regulars that you get to know, so it feels like home from the second you walk in. Additionally, these guys are never short staffed cuz their bartenders aren't quitting left and right like a lot of other places. That's a pretty big statement about how well management runs things there...and why my glass is never empty! TL;DR: If you're looking for your next bar with a "Cheers" atmosphere, great drinks, fun poker (including THREE Ultimate X machines...just don't take mine!), and bar food that's a step above...come here! Awww, PTs... Usually this is a solid choice, but apparently not on the night of the college football championships. Maybe they were short staffed, or something, but the night was fraught with errors. We waited for quite awhile before our waitress took our drink orders. She brought our beverages (just iced tea and water), and we had to ask for menus. That took awhile longer. I ordered the Bikini Wrap, but with honey mustard instead of ranch, no onions, and sweet potato fries. The meals came...but with no utensils. We had to hunt her down for those. Mine had regular fries instead of sweet potato fries. We signaled for her, and she apologized and took the plate. It took FOREVER to get the replacement meal, and when I did, the fries were completely overcooked..Almost burned. SIGH. Ok, so the wrap has to be good, right? Nope. It was FULL of onions, and had the ranch, not the honey mustard I requested. I tried to pick through it, but I was pretty disappointed. Our waitress never came back to check on us. Until today every experience I've had here had been great. Since the release of their new menu I have gotten the poutine each time I've come, and it's been amazing. Today it came out and the cheese was uncooked and cold like it had just come out of the fridge. I alerted our waitress (Michelle, who was amazing by the way) and she took it back to be cooked properly. Again it came out with still-cold cheese. I told her in the past the cheese has always been fried before the gravy is poured on. She took it back once again and was told by the cooks that how they made it tonight is how it's made. So that was it. No poutine. The whole reason we came HERE to watch the game was for the poutine and as someone who grew up in Canada I can tell you without reservation that cold cheese is definitely NOT part of poutine. Typical machines, but the PT's players club is among the worst I have seen. If you are looking for a place to have a drink and relax, this is a winner. If you are hungry or want to gamble and get a return on your money, no! Biggest problem with the food is if the fryer goes out, so does 90% of their menu.
