We recently purchased a 399 square foot tiny house with metal roof which was perfect for rainwater harvesting using rain barrels and a seamless gutter system. While we do have a large 12X15 patio also under roof we are talking a small job. I called several companies and most either didn't call back or I was hounded by a call center rep who was impersonal and pushy. I gave him permission to come onto the property and look at our house for an estimate while we were not able to be there. He gave me a great quote, made the perfect color suggestion and left me a color selection kit with probably 2 dozen color choices. We agreed on a price and set up an appointment for installation. My life is crazy and I am basically on call every week day to take care of patients in the OR when they are getting our medical device. I had to change the scheduled time twice and extremely stormy weather also caused a delay. Phil was very patient and worked with me. We had our gutters installed just over a month ago. Even though this was a small job, Phil was there making sure everything was exactly right. He had a great foreman and crew who were friendly and efficient and cleaned up EVERYTHING before they left. Not a scrap of paper or any aluminum trimmings were left behind. Phil even made them take down a a downspout and re-engineer it to make it perfectly align with the rain barrel inlet. They gave me a bid and then when I wanted to get together and iron out details, they decided they were too busy to do the work. The problem with that was... the roof was torn off and could not be completed until I found someone else, as this was a historical home and gutters were internal to roofing system. You better be willing to not ask questions and just accept the bid, otherwise, you will waste your time and possible delay the project detrimentally.
