Pratima is amazing! She is highly intuitive, very gentle, open, and gives you exactly the medicine you need when you need it. There have even been times when she received messages for herself because of working on or through me - I find those moments very special. Nothing like a group hug!! I have been seeing Pratima since January. I started with an intro session gifted to me by my wife to help heal an injury. I knew nothing about Reiki, as I'm new to the metaphysical world, and was taught early in life to view such things as "woo-woo." But acknowledging Reiki as a true science - rather than something mystical - has changed everything for me. Since that first session, I've now attended five additional sessions, going every two weeks, and I can honestly say: I feel amazing. While the injury is still present, it no longer interferes with yoga poses, and I can feel it healing. It turns out it was an energetic tear. Once Pratima explained that and worked her Reiki, I was able to release the pain and trauma surrounding it - something I understood instantly, even though I couldn't have put it into words before. Keep in mind, I had been carrying this injury for years before finally deciding to get treatment. I've now reduced my sessions to once a month as I supplement healing at home with meditation and crystal bowls. But Pratima will remain in my life throughout this year without question. I thank her for standing in the light, for being a healer, for giving of herself to others, and for allowing Reiki energy to flow through her into us so we can heal. I could go on forever about the countless things she has mentioned, or the synchronicities I've experienced as a result - but I think you get the point. P.S. I recently learned she also offers Reiki training - can we say, count me in please!! Thank you & Namaste!! read more

So what is Reiki? This question always came into my mind once in a while. I had heard about it from my friend 10-15 years back that you can heal a person without even touching or being close to him/her and this idea blew my mind away. I never really tried to find out about it back then until I heard about it from few folks couple of months back. I know Pratima from work and her personality has always attracted me. She is so humble, soft spoken and kind hearted at the same time she is a professional and a perfectionist !!! When she decided to leave work and pursue something of her own i didn't knew that it was Reiki until I saw her post. This time I really wanted to find out and try it for my mother in law who is visiting us from India. She has been though a lot over the years and I could see the tiredness on her face and body language. Also, her knee has been bothering her. Immediately, I reached out to her for an appointment. The experience my mother-in-law had was out of the world. She felt as if a big burden was taken off from her head. Things that were probably bothering her for so long. She was energized and happy and I could definitely see the change in her. What I also liked about Pratima was the fact that she sent me a detailed email of what she saw and experienced during each and every step of the process. My mother in law confirmed whatever she wrote was infact true !! Based on her experience she wanted to go back to her. So now we have taken a 4 session package. I understand every person and their body is different but based on our experience I would definitely recommended coming to Pratima if you are interested. After the session you will be filled with positive energy. read more

I had heard about Reiki healing through a couple of friends of mine and that is how I found PS Reiki. I am not going to lie, I came into my first session very apprehensive and not knowing what to expect. Pratima was very welcoming and explained the background of Reiki. When we started I was still nervous and tense but about 10 minutes in to the healing everything changed. The feeling is so hard to explain but I suddenly felt so relaxed and felt like the weight was being lifted off. There were some areas that I could feel the energy more than others, almost like something was being tugged and pulled then removed. At the end Pratima explained what she felt and what she saw which was all accurate, she knew things that I hadn't discussed nor disclosed to her. Those areas that I could feel the energy being lifted were the areas that she pointed out that needed more balancing! The most wildest thing is that I hadn't told her what I was feeling during the session but she knew those were my problem areas!! She provided me guidance on what I can do to help myself in those areas. Reiki is hard to explain but as I said earlier I was border line non-believer and that all changed in one session with Pratima. Long story short I highly recommend her to anyone. read more

Two weeks ago today I chose to show up for myself and take a little visit to see Pratima for my first Reiki / Chakra balancing appointment. While energy and the concept of balancing chakras and energy is not new to me, trusting and allowing someone to guide me thru the process was, and I could not be more grateful for the beautiful soul that exists within Pratima. She held space so beautifully as she guided me through a process of great release and healing that has been much needed in my body. Then she sat with me at the end as we went over the experience provided feedback from the session. Truths were being delivered to me, the only truths that can set me free from the mental bondage I put myself in that keep me from reaching my highest aim. I am brave. I am worthy. Thank you, Pratima, for also being brave and following YOUR heart's purpose and being there for me when I needed you. Thank you for your supreme guidance, unwavering support and loving spirit as we moved through this art of healing together. So much has happened in the past month and even more so in the past two weeks due to your assistance. I cannot express in words just how eternally grateful I am to you. I will certainly be back. Thank you!!! read more

I just had my very first Reiki experience with Pratima at PS Reiki and I will definitely be coming back for a continuous regimen. Pratima started the session by explaining the process and some background on Reiki. She made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions I had. She also took the time to talk through my concerns emotionally, mentally and physically before starting. The session itself was incredible. I felt immediate calm and serenity throughout my mind and body. I also noticed specific moments of energy transfer. I was in and out of a very relaxed sleep till the end. Post-session, Pratima asked me about my experience and explained her visions and energy analysis. Her comments were impressive - there were even visions of my past that very few of my closest friends or family are aware of. She gave me some follow up suggestions to help balance my energy and continue on the path of wholistic self healing. I highly recommend PS Reiki to anyone who is looking for a naturally talented, insightful and positive Reiki practitioner. read more

Reiki was calling my name and my first experience with Pratima went way above my expectations. I did a lot of research on how to find the best practitioner and will say that Pratima's positive and healing energy is infectious and immediate. She has also created a very calm and warm safe space with her set up. You will feel and know that you are good in hands-literally. Pratima is a genuine being and you feel safe sharing with her. I had a pretty good idea where my blockages would be (again based on research) but Pratima's hand knew exactly where to go and I certainly felt the connection as she felt and worked with my energy. It was an emotionally freeing release and connection. You can't unfeel that ;) I genuinely appreciate the follow up after the session on thoughts to consider and areas to continue to work on release and openness. I will most certainly continue care with Pratima. If you read this review, I am saving you all the research time...look no further. Pratima was born to offer insight and healing! Thank you Pratima! I appreciate you! read more

I am deeply grateful to have crossed paths with Pratima at a time in my life that required so much healing and growth. It was through a series of unexpected synchronicities I learned about Reiki and Pratima's practice. I connected with her immediately to open up in ways that were humbling, and the realization of how much I've been holding on over the years without awareness. Her compassion, openness, intuition, and healing gifts has truly had a transformative impact on my life. Each session has brought me greater peace, lightening of the load I was carrying, and greater understanding of myself and my life experiences. Her guidance has been instrumental in connecting with myself to truly heal and reveal the answers I've been seeking, both emotionally and spiritually. I look forward to continuing to seek Pratima's guidance and healing gifts to strengthen, grow, and to pave a positive path forward. *gets goosebumps prior to writing review* If you are considering Pratima for Reiki work, it's for a reason. Go. Yes. Do it. Email or message her, call her, do whatever you feel is best in reaching out to her. The universe brings people together for a reason...Pratima and I connected after almost 3-4 weeks of searching for a reiki healer in the NoVA area and I am so grateful for that. My session with Pratima was more than I ever thought it would be; she was super informative, thorough, gentle and intentional. She was truly able to connect to me spiritually, which is so critical in seeking (and benefiting from) any sort of energy healing. Pratima has a natural aptitude for energy healing that is luminous and soft and beautiful and truly life changing. M A N Y thanks to you, Pratima, for your energy, dedication, intent and healing practice. Cannot wait to continue working with you. read more

Reiki was a foreign concept to me until I got an opportunity to have a session with Pratima. She was calm yet very powerful. I was little anxious before the session, based on the fact that I didn't know much about it. Pratima made me feel very comfortable in no time and explained everything in detail. Even though it was an hour session, she didn't rush it, she took her own time explaining the process and knowing about my issues. I really like her professionalism and eagerness to learn the person (me in this case) and the issues. She has a genuine flow that is hard to explain in words. She followed up with me via a detailed email and texts after the session to make sure I was doing fine. She is a great practitioner and have some cosmic healing power that is not easy to find. Pratima - Thank you. I wish you all the best in your new endeavor. read more

Pratima is awesome. I wasn't really sure what to expect but have been focusing on improving my spiritual health and looking into different things to try. I stumbled into reiki and while I don't know much about it, my experiences have been really great. I've been doing my own chakra work and when I had my first session w/Pratima she brought attention to areas I knew I had issues in. I could definitely "feel" the energy and Pratima had some great follow up recommendations to help reinforce areas she worked on. She is very insightful and gentle and you can tell definitely cares about her work. Things in my life in certain areas have started to improve since I started focusing on recommendations she's made and I'm thankful to have someone to talk to that doesn't think I'm crazy lol. Looking forward to long term improvements! read more

Pratima is a powerful Reiki practitioner- I knew it from the moment we began our session. She started off with a guided meditation that allowed my body to instantly feel at ease and safe in the environment. With the combination of therapeutic healing touch and calming music, I felt areas of tension and pain beginning to release. Her touch is gentle and warm, as is her demeanor! I knew the moment the session ended that something had shifted (particularly in my solar plexus) and for the rest of the day I felt lighter and more at peace. I was even more surprised when the effects lasted a few days- I can't wait to go back for another session. If you're wanting to try Reiki for the first time, or even are familiar with it- I highly recommend trying services with PS Reiki. You will not regret it! Thank you Pratima. read more

I had my very first reiki experience, and all I can say is WOW!! I will definitely be going back to PS Reiki for more sessions. I cannot praise Pratima enough for her exceptional hospitality. Right from the beginning, Pratima made me feel at ease by explaining how Reiki works and what to expect from the session. Throughout out the session, I could feel the tension releasing, and being relaxed. After the session, Pratima blew me away with her expertise and feedback! Pratima was very thorough, and took her time explaining everything to me. I have not felt this good , or this positive in a long time, and it's truly thanks to PS Reiki healing. I have been recommending PS Reiki to all my family and friends! read more

If anyone is looking to give Reiki a try, I would definitely recommend Pratima. My experience so far has been nothing but wonderful. I found Pratima on Yelp and based on others reviews I felt like I could give it a try. I've had ongoing health issues that I wanted to see if Reiki would help with. I wasn't too familiar with Reiki and am still learning, but I am pleased with the results and outcome. After meeting with Pratima, each session I've had has been quite interesting and I believe it is helping me a lot. She is very informative, very sweet and caring. I feel super comfortable around her, which is very important to me. She is definitely worth the drive if the commute is an issue for anyone. read more

Had my first reiki session with Pratima. Not knowing what to expect of reiki, she took the time to explain in detail. The room was beautifully decorated and had a calming effect on its own. The session really felt like we were connected (like we all are, but don't necessarily feel it because life gets in the way). Her healing energy had an immediate relaxing, balancing effect. She had a few observations to share after the session and they were spot on. Its amazing how she could feel my strengths and weak points without us talking diring the session. Her detailed follow up is a testament to how she cares about my well being. Thank you Pratima for a truly holistic experience. Stay blessed. read more

Pratima is awesome! I was getting help from several doctors for my chronic fatigue and had extremely low levels of energy. I have been out of work on medical leave because of my condition. A friend suggested that maybe I try Reiki because she has heard that it can be effective in addition to conventional medicine. I'm so glad that I was open minded and did my research. I feel so very fortunate to have found Pratima who is a Reiki Master. I attribute my reiki sessions with Pratima to the increase in my energy levels and relaxation which is key to my recovery. I highly recommend that if you are interested in Reiki that you see Pratima. She is also a very kind and understanding person. read more

Pratima is very caring and skilled. She helped me considerably after a long stay in hospital and surgery. My back was killing me from the long stay in bed and I was experiencing stress and body pain beyond the surgical recovery. One session allowed enough release for the back pain to decrease immensely and energy to increase so I could get restful healing sleep and stand up mostly straight. The second session had less dramatic results but my strength and energy increased even more within hours. I need a second surgery to finish off this particular issue and I plan for n getting at least two post surgery sessions when that occurs. read more

This was my first Reiki session and it was truly an amazing experience! Pratima has a wonderful gift and I walked away from the session feeling more energized than I have felt for the past two years. I had several chakras that were blocked and I could feel them clearing both during and for a few weeks after our session. Pratima also followed up with some suggestions and meditation techniques after the session which really helped me out. I plan on booking more sessions with Pratima, can't say enough great things about her and the healing benefits of Reiki. Highly recommend booking a session with Pratima! read more

The first time I went in I had a chest full of anxiety and worry. A while back an old co-worker had mentioned Reiki to me and I figured this would be the perfect time to try it out. Pratima is AMAZING! The first time I went to her was about a month ago and from the moment I walked into the door I felt a warm, positive environment. I could feel her energy flow through you and by the time she had finished, I had felt more centered and connected to myself and my anxiety was long gone! If you are looking to start Reiki I highly, highly suggest Pratima! You will not regret it! read more

Pratima is incredibly gifted! This has been the best experience I have ever had with reiki. I was absolutely blown away. I would encourage anyone looking into reiki to work with Pratima. She creates a safe space and an open environment. Not only did we have a great session, but she took the time to write up a long, detailed email with what she came across in the session and recommendations on stones, essential oils, daily gratitudes, etc. She goes the extra distance to help her clients in their spiratual journey, which is truly appreciated. Thank you Pratima! read more
