After receiving a woefully poorly constructed letter in the mail from my city that required…read moremandatory backflow repairs, I reached out to a number of vendors to help with my backflow repair. Some didn't respond, others couldn't do the services, others still only did commercial products. Pro Backflow on the other hand was responsive, offered reasonable prices, and ample availability. During my appointment, I found the service tech offered a good explanation of what he did and offered to file the paperwork for me with the city. My only two points of improvement is the service technician started the work on my house without even knocking on the door or meeting me. I just started hearing drilling. At best, it didn't matter, at worst, it could have been the wrong house! Second, I never hear back for days after the service tech left. I had to reach out to offer my final payment and figure out if they filed my paperwork. Overall good, but Pro Backflow can clean up the edges a bit.

Kudos and gratitude to Daniel today for replacing our wall mounted kitchen faucet--it had been…read moreleaky and no longer swiveling for at least the past two years, held together with Gorilla tape and rustoleum paint. We had been reluctant to replace it because of concern that it would require damage to the surrounding historic tile, let alone the galvanized pipe. Daniel arrived promptly at 8 a.m. and started work right away (he had talked us through what needed to happen during his visit last week when we got our dishwasher installed.). Over the next 1.5 hrs he successfully removed the old faucet, cleaned out the part of the old pipe that broke during the removal process due to rust/age, and installed the new one. Looks beautiful! Swivels like a dream! No leaks! In effect, our kitchen has a new facelift with the new faucet and dishwasher, thanks to Daniel, without the price tag of redoing our whole kitchen. Daniel and 24RooterPlumbing are conscientious, skilled, timely, and thorough.

WR replied to my general inquiry for a plumber on Yelp very quickly as did numerous other plumbers…read more Looking over the process on Yelp seems like making an appointment required a phone call still anyway. Decided to give these guys a try so called them and was able to make a same day appointment. Robert texted ahead of time and arrived within the arrival window. He was very nice, answered all my questions, and fixed 1/4 problems we had. One other issue he says could not be fixed and another he could not find a problem to fix. For the last problem, he said he to see if he could get the part and that he would get back to me. If he made an effort to reach out I missed it and as far as I know he never followed up. Since I was surprised that a special part was needed, I went out to get my own part and will try to fix it myself later. He did fix the main issue we called him out for. Given the mixed experience, I will likely try one of the many other eager plumbers who contacted me on Yelp and give one of them a try in the future, but I will not be opposed to using WR again.

The highest praise for Steve's 5 Star Service! I'm absolutely astonished with their service and so…read morehappy I chose this company to handle my HVAC replacement. They provided white glove service from quotation all the way through installation. I was simple to book a same day inspection and quote request for a new HVAC unit online. The repair technician Angel Perez was just that, an absolute angel. He was unbelievably kind and knowledgeable. After meeting with him and hearing him speak to other members of the company over the phone, I knew this was a special company. The employees spoke to each other like family. Once I submitted my signed contact online, Angel thanked me for choosing them and welcomed me to the family. Contract provides excellent warranty on parts and labor. Unit included install of ecobee smart thermostat, which I am in love with! Not sure how I got by all this time without one. By far the best quoted price out of the four I received. On the day of installation I received a text update with a photo and name of the lead installation technician Jon Neves. He and his team arrived right now time and finished the work exactly at their provided estimated completion time. The team placed a mat by the front door entrance to my house, which was a very nice touch, covered carpeted areas where they would be walking. After the job was complete they vacuumed their work space and it was like they weren't even in the house. The group of guys working in the installation took great care in everything they did. My installation required a crane to get the unit on top of my house and The Purple Crane was in and out quickly. The crane didn't disrupt my neighbors or even the trash service that morning. The crane was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend Steve's 5 Star Service. They offer a service membership for less than $20 a month to handle HVAC tune ups, water heater flushes, and any service needs. You read that correctly, they also do plumbing! They will now be my go to for any plumbing needs. I'm due for a new water heater and I will be contacting them in the near future to handle my replacement. Steve's 5 Star Service took such great care of my baby girl and I during the heat. They were urgent to get us some reprieve from the heat and cool air into our home again. They are the nicest group of people I've ever hired. True to their word, take great pride in their work, take respectful care of their customers and provide easy breezey service. Shout out to the wonderful team that assist me on this project: Angel Perez, Jon Neves, Brad, Javier and The Purple Crane. Thank you thank you! I cannot thank you all enough! It was a pleasure working with you. Breana Cumberland Smith Chino, CA
