Is Provident Bank offering new business accounts for local small businesses seeking an SBA Paycheck Protection Program? Many small businesses will probably switch banks to thank any bank that opens their arms during this emergency crisis.…

Allison Rosiles! If you go here, which I would suggest you do, please ask for Allison. She is so…read morepleasant to work with! Very knowledgeable and she has a great work ethic. From conversations on the phone to her coming in on a Saturday to meet me (I work Mon-Fri & couldn't make it in) I was very impressed with how accommodating she was for me. To be honest I was a little nervous and slightly embarrassed to be filing for a loan and she made me feel at ease and that they were there to do nothing but help me in my time of need. Again, ask for Allison, she's a professional sweetheart!

I had a great experience with them the first time I applied. Everything went smoothly. With a…read moreperfect payment history I was pre-approved for another loan but couldn't qualify without cosigner or a car (had recently gotten into a car accident so I no longer had a car). I applied again once I had a car and was told once more I was pre-approved but now they're saying they have no options for me. If that were just the problem then I'd leave it as annoying business practices. My issue is specifically regarding this branch (and Chula Vista). I set an appointment for Monday. Received a text telling me that they were having staff issues and will get a hold of me as soon as possible. I don't receive a call until 5:20 (Chula Vista). The call mysteriously disconnects and I call back but it's too late. No one picks up because it's after 5:30. I reschedule myself online. I call at the time of my appointment and am out on hold. Call disconnects. I call again and am told the person I was supposed to talk to just took in a walk in. What?? During my scheduled time? Am told I'll get a call back between 1-2. I don't get anything until 3:30. Mind you at this point I had rescheduled again for 4pm since no one got back to me. I am told that there's nothing for 4 and that no one can help me. I was supposed to have my meeting at 11;20. Yes? That's the time I called and was told that the person took a walk in. How is that my fault? Am told maybe I can have my call the next day at 9am which doesn't work for me because that's when I start work. After expressing frustration someone helps me. Only to be told two days later that there's nothing for me despite being told my chances were high. Incredibly dissatisfied with the service and it's hard to believe that they did everything right when they're so disorganized.

I've reported…read morehis death and personally walked in the bank and filled out all of the paper work BofA ask me to. I took copies of his Trust, his death certificate and worked with a very lovely, kind, helpful woman by the name of Selena. I thanked her over and over again for helping me properly fill out all the forms. She was incredible and for a grieving daughter, who had no idea what I was doing I was so very grateful. Yesterday, I received another document regarding the "certificate of trust" once again the form told me to go to the bank and have someone there complete the form so I wouldn't have to have it notarized. Waiting at a podium, inside Bofa off Ynez Rd was David Cardenas. He greeted me like a stone statue, and asked me why I was there. I showed him my paperwork as he abruptly handed it right back to me and said, "we don't help with this" I said, "yes you do, I just went thru this with Selena, she was wonderful and helpful." I asked for her and was told she was on vacation. David continued to tell me they don't help , then says. We only do this part. I said, Exactly! That's why I'm here! I was instructed to come to the bank with this form and you're immediately telling me "you don't help." If this is your VICE PRESIDENT FINANCIAL MANAGER, think again! Demote him and give his job to Selena. After his cold, abrasive, lack of empathy or guidance in a very painful and confusing time, as I told him, I plan on removing every cent of my dads trust from that bank and banking somewhere else. It was astonishing his lack of help and how strongly his message was he wanted nothing to do with helping me. I explained that I was unsure of certain parts of the form and legally I wanted to make sure I got it right he then handed me a card and told me to call the number for help. Ice cold, unfriendly, unhelpful and I will never go back there again. I let him no before I left, "when someone's family dies, have a little more decency, patience and compassion. We are stressed out, we have no idea what we are doing and we expect more from the institution that is holding all of the funds to our families estate. Do better!
