My 'TOP TEN' observations. 1. Management - Exceptionally qualified group of thoughtful and caring people. Empathetic, patient, knowledgeable and always professional. Ange Pitts (Administrator), Taylor Burkhart (Resident Care Coordinator), Amber Hall (Office Manager). 2. Emphasis on safety. Nothing more important! Recent example was the influenza outbreak in Washington state. The entire professional team expeditiously confirmed that all protocols were in place and being observed. 3. Medical professionals who manage the distribution of pharmaceuticals as well as monitoring vital signs of residents. 4. Phenomenal staff who assist with many aspects of general care of residents. 5. Housekeepers keep the facility looking great! 6. Facility maintenance impeccably handled by the versatile Pat White. 7. Life Enrichment Coordinator makes sure that residents have a plenty of interesting and creative activities. A visiting social worker recently commented on the quality and diversity of activities. Special thanks to Sydney and Mary. 8. Chef staff is always striving to come up with interesting menus as well as numerous alternative items. 9. Communication within the organization is excellent. 10. Yes, there's no place like home. If home is not an option, Artesian Place is a great place to live.

These guys are THE BEST. I have done PT pretty consistently for the last 10 years due to ankle…read moreinjuries (because I'm a klutz) and a spine injury from being rear-ended. I have worked with some very good PTs over the years. Zach and Stephanie are better! The care and attention they (and their team) provide is top notch, and they are incredibly knowledgeable. I have never felt rushed through my appointments, and have plenty of dedicated 1:1 time with my PT. Their PTA's, Damon & Svenja are just as amazing as Zach & Stephanie. Guiding you through your stretches & exercises, providing incredible support and expertise to make sure you're doing it right. As with any PT program, you have to trust the process. My baseline was unable to leverage a glass of water in front of me, and unable to sit or stand for more than 30 minutes without significant pain. Stephanie started me off with such tiny movements and stretches that I wondered if it would even work. The end result has been steady progress without any major setbacks, and the appropriate amount of discomfort. (You just can't avoid discomfort when you're rebuilding musculature) Stephanie takes into consideration my day to day life, how I need (and want) to function, and has tailored treatment to help me move through the world on my terms. All while getting closer every day to being pain free. The warmth and connection from them to their patients is felt the instant you walk through the door. I am confident they can help anyone. Over the last several months I have watched them rehab teens with sports injuries, middle aged folks with chronic injuries, and seniors recovering from surgery. Don't hesitate, just make the appointment!

2024ish : I had been a client for several years. It was a valuable resource for me with my…read moreneurodivergencies and anxiety. I needed to attend PT and was down to my last few visits for OT/PT. The owner who I was working with suggested I cease OT and attend PT with the last few visits. I truly thought she was on my side and made a good point. Unfortunately I was not in a good headspace but I thought that was a good idea. I lost my last near resource to me. I emailed her back in august (we communicated by email and never by phone) agreeing to her suggestion and why I'd want more visits and to see if she'd send it off to the insurance company because she did say she'd write a report and do that and wanted my list. At the end of the email I asked questions about what was next and if she'd email me back if visits got approved or how that would work. I know my email went through because I got the "away message." Months went by and no contact. I was dropped like a hot potato. I recently emailed her to followup (also got the "away message") and inform her of a few more details, maybe that would help me. Nothing. It hurts. I'm not sure I'd go back either. It was my only ND resource (because as we adults all know there is nothing in thurston county for adults). And now this happens. 2026: Sent email 4/30 asking about obtaining my records. Received an email from Alice 5/13 and exchanged emails over a month's time with no clear indication of when I could get them. They've gone electronic, moved, and were in a box somewhere. Owner could not access them. I would also have to pay for them. 6/3 someone told me they couldn't provide the cost until Jacqueline could physically get them and then they'd contact me with an update. I'm pretty sure they lied to me like everyone else does to me. I sent an email 7/6 checking on this status, no response. It's now 8/3 and have heard zilch from them. You will never be a valued patient with this place. They lie and shouldn't be in operation. at this point I should get my records for free.
