After meeting the crew that came out on day one, we knew we made the right choice. We also could tell that everyone on the crew enjoyed their job and the company they worked for. The entire process was very smooth from start to finish and everyone who showed up to do the work were very kind and professional. We were kept informed with what work would be done each day and they stuck to the schedule as promised. David Neu originally came out and listened to what we wanted, added a few great suggestions, put together and sent us a very detailed drawing of what the finished project would look like. He also explained the entire process from start to finish. He made us feel comfortable with having Meyer as our contractor. He was very kind and sociable and had a great sense of humor. Our project was completed as promised with only a few very minor touch-up items at the end which they promptly took care of. We were amazed with how clean they kept everything with so much construction going on. They take pride in their work and made sure we were completely satisfied with everything. The office staff (Rachael and Sara) were very kind and helpful with all of our question when we called. Overall, we are completely satisfied, and we would highly recommend Meyer to anyone looking for a home restoration project. Jesse and Pixie H.

Many attempts were made to reach out to larger contractors to have some projects done at our home with no success. I met Ann and heard great things about her business. We had them come out for a consultation and we went through all of the things we wanted done to our home. They came when we scheduled the appt. They brought contractors that they work with to come in during the consultation to talk with us as well. Then they coordinated all the moving parts of our job. Joe and his team who put down our new carpet and hard wood floors were great! Jeff the painter was meticulous with all of our painting projects. As a matter of fact we had him return a short time ago to do some painting/staining outside of our home. Joe DeLine worked with the window company and installed a huge wall of windows and glass door for my new office. have you ever imagined how something would turn out and it was way better than you ever imagined? I work in my office every day and still can't believe it's my work space. And the beams constructed, and installed by Joe and stained by Ann have added a totally new and cozy dimension to our home. Yes we had a lot done. Lots of moving parts. Thoroughly 5 cans of paint he wanted $2,750.00 This totally for this small room came out to be $10,172.99 and Jeremy Phillips at Strong Arm remodeling and construction, pun intended strong armed me for $2,086.50. I gave Jeremy half the money to start the job and when I called him the day before regarding my receipt and to question him about my contract he started asking me about a job that my husband did on the garage that I originally got a bid for him on which had absolutely nothing to do with my laundry room. However, with us being health care professionals we weren't home to have the job done on the garage anyway. We were both deployed for work. As with this guy, he never follownoed up and now he wants to tell me this is why he is charging me a restocking fee on a contract I never signed regarding my garage. Nevertheless, as for the work on my laundry room, that will be a DIY project too because business owners like Jeremy Phillips sheds a negative light amongst many businesses especially independents. Also, he treated me like I didn't have options and then he had the nerves to say several time he was trying to help us out while trying to over charge us. There is really something to be said about business owners that see the customer as wrong regardless of the of the third rate treatment they bestow upon the customer. I would highly recommend using a company other than Strong Arm for any home improvement or construction needs as per my terrible experience with such a lackluster and inconsiderate professionals if they can even be called such.

We didn't really understand the quality of this remodel until I heard about others' experience. Bill was detailed in the prework, including very specific plans and drawings. He came back with illustrations that let us "see" the completed project before it started. Even though we made a couple of unusual requests, Bill did the research, came back with multiple solutions, and let us pick the one we liked the best. Most of the folks I've spoken with felt they needed to follow the contractor and continually check on the work completed. Not us! I never had to check on the progress or the quality, because both were outstanding. In my line of work, I don't have time to check in and worry over every detail. It's great that we could find a contractor who did the worrying for us. The basement was the big one, but we're already lining up the next project for Dream Mill.
