My family had all three of our cars tinted here, and each time we were offered professional service and competitive prices. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable when helping us choose the right shade of tint for the specific car, and the job was done while we went across the street for an hour or so's time! He even offered us to come back in case we were unsatisfied as long we had proof of purchase of the work completed, which we actually did because honestly we were quite lazy to rub out the bubbles ourselves along the black enamel band at the edges that come naturally because of the uneven surface of the back windshield itself. I recommend Pro Tint to anyone looking to tint their cars and have their windows look good! read more

I have gone to Pro tint for the past year since I got my first car. They do a very quick and professional job. I had my tints done on my BMW from Cali tint, but regretted it much when I saw how much better this shop did it. For my new car, I would definately retint my back window at Pro Tint, because I heard they did the dot matrix part better than other shops. Today, I took my Acura Tl-s in to install 6000k HID headlights. The installer saw the set up of my headlights and the drivers side was blocked by my air box so the salesperson charged me a little more since it would take longer to install. But the installer tried to install it with the airbox blocking a part of the bulb, and was able to do it. So they reimbursed me that extra amount I paid. Very honest and great service. Best shop I have ever went to. All my friends go there too and love their service. read more

Why was I even going to California Tint when this place existed the whole time? I called Tuesday morning and spoke to Emmanuel who was courteous and professional throughout the whole process. He provided options and honesty--You just have that feeling in your gut he's taking care of you. Luckily for me I was able to squeeze my car in the same day. I left my vehicle with Pro Tint at 11:00 AM and they finished my car by 12:00 PM. I was stunned. Can you say fast and efficient? On top of that, my tints were beautiful and I didn't see a single air bubble. With that being said, this place does offer lifetime warranty if there are any issues after installation. Talk to Emmanuel for tint options before finalizing your decision--There is just way too many to choose from. Remember folks, you get what you pay. read more

Based on the average review of Protint on Yelp, one might reconsider going here for their services; however, upon closer inspection, it appears as if Yelp has enforced a dramatically negative bias on the reviews that are considered into the total rating. Sadly, it is more apparent that a large # of negative reviews of Protint are slanderous, biased reviews by their competitor across the street---i.e. California Tint (which you'll see "coincidentally" mentioned in many of these slanderous, negative, made-up reviews). My experience @ Protint this past weekend was NOTHING but PERFECT service. I dealt with the sales manager Darren before, during, and after my installation. Made an appointment over the phone, was offered a FANTASTIC price on the install (much lower than 3 other places that I called) ,and I showed up there early Saturday morning. From the exterior, Protint looks a bit dated and also unusually colored (the building is a pee-like yellow :P), but once you walk inside, the store inside is clean, organized, and offers a variety of speakers/decks/electronics for sale. Pricing-wise, their electronics are fairly priced, but not extremely cheap compared to online sales. The best part about Protint is that, as a small business, you get the feeling they actually want to establish a continued relationship with their customers by the friendly & informative attitude, as well as their high-quality of worksmanship. Albeit, my stereo install was super simple (probably a 2 out of 10 in difficulty), their SUPER friendly and patient employee Juan did the install perfectly and even set up my bluetooth in a ideal location. He then made sure I knew how to operate the deck before letting me drive out. The store was quite busy but never once did I feel pressured to leave once I finished the transaction. My friend also installed the same deck and everything went smoothly w/o any hitches. Unlike dealing with places like Bestbuy, where the employees probably hate their job and their customers, you don't have to worry about Protint messing up the other parts of your car and electronics :P Again, let me emphasize that Juan, my stereo installer, provided excellent worksmanship and was ridiculously nice. Without meeting and interacting with him, I would still give Protint 4 stars just based on professionalism, no nonsense service, super competitive pricing, and also a convenient location. The also do have a cool "hang-out lounge" that has sofas, coffee, and even a small fan to stay cool I was extremely comfortable during my wait and had no issues despite being there for over an hour (waited for my friend too). I am seriously considering going back and doing a more intense upgrade of my stereo system....just need to save up some dough :) read more

Now I understand the meaning of leaving with a bad taste in your mouth. I was looking to tint the windows on my wife's new car. I remember coming to this place a very long time ago and was happy with the work that was done, so I sent out a request for a quote. I got a response from Jeff and the prices were very reasonable. I received another message from Jeff earlier this morning that a time slot was available and that I was offered an additional discount of 5% if I came in today. This place is out of the way for me but my past experience was a good one and the price was right, so I decided to go ahead and set my appointment. I showed up on time for my appointment and was helped by a very friendly and professional lady. She showed me all of my options and helped me out with deciding what to go with. I was so happy with the service that I called up my brother and told him to come down and check this place out too! My brother arrives and is helped by another super friendly and professional employee. I think his name is Emanuel. We both felt this guy was way too enthusiastic about car tints. He was very knowledgeable, honest and helpful with my brother in deciding what to do. My brother was able to get a discount also, so he decided on tinting his car as well. As we were there, I overheard a customer asking if they could save on tax if they paid with cash. I was also curious so I asked if this was true. We decided to go to the bank to get the cash and to go have breakfast because it was gonna take a while. As we were eating I received a call saying my car was ready. This done a lot faster than I was expecting. We get back to the place and it was busier than when we left. They took a few more minutes to remove the 3M logos on the tint. Everything came out clean and nice. It was all 5 stars across the board up until I went to pay the bill. The very nice and professional lady that helped me earlier was assisting me again with paying my bill. I asked her if the tax could be waived if I paid with cash. Before she could respond, this guy jumps in and starts rambling. I could only assume he was Jeff. There was no "Hello. Nice to meet you. I'm Jeff." It was only "You're Dung? You already got your discount. Have you been shopping around? You're already getting the best price. Just give him only $3 dollars off." First off, i wasnt even talking to this guy. It was just a simple yes or no question I was asking the nice lady. It was such an awkward situation for everyone. He was yelling at me in front of everyone including other customers. I was too shocked to be angry at that moment. I have never been talked to or treated so unprofessionally at a place of business before in my life. I'm not the type to complain or write long reviews but I felt like this was one of those experiences I have to share because it was so unexpected. It's such a shame because I was planning on bringing in my other cars and telling all of my friends and family about this place. Me and my brother just spent over $1000 dollars at this place and for this guy to just "lose it" over me asking a simple question is just too much for me to understand. read more

My tint job looked spectacular. I was told to expect some bubbles but that they would disappear within a weeks time. There was only two bubbles and Jim fixed it immediately on the spot. I chose the 3M color stable (20 VLT) and am thoroughly satisfied...nice and dark while still allowing enough light in for visibility. Jeff and his wife were informative and warm. Jim was particularly helpful when I called for a quote. He thoroughly described the differences between the different films and made me an appt for the following day. read more

I called this place to see if I could purchase some black vinyl to cover some parts and was told that my call would be returned in a few minutes. Days later no call so I dropped by and inquired in person. When I was told the price for a 12" x 12" square of vinyl, I asked why so much? The gentleman helping me out was offended, got rude, grabbed his vinyl and walked away. What an unprofessional business. This place is a joke. Don't waste your time. read more

This company has been around for ages and I recently went back to fix some peeling tint under a lifetime warranty. I originally took my car in about 9 years ago, so the quality of work was good. The manager, Jeff is very friendly and knowledgeable and tries hard to build a customer relationship. I didn't get any trouble about doing the warranty and asked him to re-tint a front window. They will take appointments but they aren't very good about finishing on time. I would have given 5 stars, but it took two trips to finish my car and each time, it took longer than originally quoted. My back doors and rear window all needed to be replaced but the first time I went, there was some confusion and only my rear window was done with an hour longer than it was supposed to. Talked to Jeff and he agreed to finish the work on Saturday (which he doesn't like to do for warranty since he doesn't make any money). It was supposed to only take 1/2 hour but took 2 hours because one of the workers had to leave due to some pet emergency. Their biggest competitor is California Tint and the main difference between the two is, one takes appointments, and the other doesn't. CA Tint is 1st come 1st serve, w/ a cap on what they can finish in a business day. You can't make any appointments and if they fill their schedule, you'll have to come back another day. They also do great work and have good prices. Pro-Tint will take appointments throughout the day but it seems to bite off more than it can chew, which means they end up taking longer than quoted. If my tint wasn't under warranty, I probably would have just gone to CA Tint super early on Saturday. If you can't make it on a weekday, then it really comes down to if you are willing to drag yourself up on a saturday morning and wait to tint your windows. If you can't make it in the morning, then bring a good book and schedule an appointment at Pro-Tint. read more

I've been a customer of Pro Tint since I had my 1991 Honda Accord LX Coupe (First Car) tinted there back in 2003. I've been taking my cars there for tinting, audio system installs, and security system installs ever since. Jeff is a great guy and has always been very helpful. read more

Not recommend to have your vehicle windows tinting on any Saturday. Cause they won't get you any good job due to busy all the time. I have been back and fore 3 times, still get bubbles and lint on the back window film. The technician told me it is hard to avoid any lint on film, cause his T-Shirt was not lint-free. What a joke! read more

Long waits, this place is a Zoo, waited all day to get 2 windows done. Prices are Astronomical for crappy service and the up sell to a more expensive flim that you don't need... I had 3 cars done in the past, the service used to be great, in and out, but now, its an all day affair. Be prepared to take the bus that day if you plan leave your car here.... read more

This is the only place you should take your car to for stereo, tint, etc... Ask for Jeff. He is very knowledgeable in the industry. What I like about Jeff is he's not trying to sell you stuff you don't need like a used car salesman. He gives you the fact. You decide!!! Been to other places that were shady. Jeff's team is very professional. Price is great. He beats the competition!!! read more

I was looking for paint protection film (clear bra) for my 2015 Acura TLX. The service and product exceeded my expectations. Jeff and Jim were professional and answered all my questions and concerns. The pricing was the best, and after the installation, as a customer one always likes to hear what Jeff told me at the end. "you have any problems, bring back the car and I will take care of it." I did not feel like a customer, I felt like a long time friend. Thanks Jeff and Jim for a great product and outstanding service. Just a friendly reminder to all future customers that want this service to your car.... Be realistic. Jeff and Jim will work with you to accommodate your schedule, but set an appointment and plan for your car to be at the shop for about 3 to 4 hours(depending on the car). This is not a quick process, if you want it done right, work with the shop. They started my car at 2pm... by 530pm it was done. That is exactly the time Jeff told me. read more

I made an appointment last week for today to get my car tinted. A good business cares about your satisfaction long after the sale and that is precisely why I am reviewing them again. As a customer, it was wrong for me to vent my frustration through yelp without giving them a chance to fix things first. However, since it isn't possible to go back in time, I will try to do the next best thing. Throughout this entire process the people at Pro-Tint have been very patient with us. They worked very hard to remedy our feelings about the initial alarm and went over and above the call of duty to make us happy. They succeeded admirably and I can now report that we are very satisfied with our new alarm and we remain as satisfied with the tinting as we were when we first had it installed. Based on our service I can confidently say that we will go back to Pro-Tint again when the opportunity presents itself again. read more

Pro-Tint was highly recommended by my mechanic, and after bringing a relative's car in for tinting, I can absolutely see why. Extemely professional service, received a quick quote reply through Yelp, and even though I showed up 30 min late for my appointment, they were still able to finish the work as promised (right on schedule). Jim was great with keeping me apprised on the work and giving me options (darkness level, different materials) to consider, and Jeff provided a great deal of advice and expertise (care instructions & advice), as well as a thorough quote with multiple options. I will definitely be bringing more vehicles for tinting in the future! Highly recommend both the professional work and courteous service! read more

Good place, took a while to get my car tinted. Didn't have an appointment but nobody was there. Kinda expensive $150 for whole 2014 Scion Tc, I had to pay $40 extra for Legal tint for my front two windows. The $150 tint doesn't have legal shades. Me being a teenager my parents wanted me to get legal tint in the front which didn't bother me. Just suggest adding legal tint to the $150 package. But good place. Nice staff. Great waiting room. read more

I got my windows tinted here last week. Separately, I had a Bluetooth device installed on two of my older modes. Jeff and his team are amazing. I highly recommend! Updated - I came back to visit Jeff to get my front windshield tinted. Very satisfied. I recommend the highest quality tint since it blocks heat from entering the car during the summer. read more

My family has been taking our cars to get tinted from Pro-tint as long as I can remember and we couldn't be more happier with their work and professionalism. I've taken my 98 Honda Civic somewhere else and as time pass the back window has started to haze on the corner (kind of regretting the work and the money spent at the other place). A few years ago, I took my mom's Civic to get tinted and five years later the tint still looks like new. I'm looking forward on getting my new Civic tinted with Pro-Tint this coming Wednesday. Good Work Jeff. read more

Great place in my opinion for your tinting needs. Friendly staff, claudia at the front desk is super friendly and informative. Great variety if tinting types like 3m, solar tech and much more. I have personally taken two cars here thus far a toyota tacoma and highlander. They hooked it up with matching the factory glass with new tint. They also have a wide variety of stereo needs and alot of car accessories. Would def. Recommend this place. Worth a look. read more

Got mixed feelings about this place but have had some good and some bad experiences. Anyways got the hook up done here before and also purchased my HID's from here a whlie back as well. They do a decent job at the tint but charge way high. Anyways, they use to have a rude staff but from what I hear I think it's alright now, so I can't judge on that. 3/5 stars for my previous 3 encounters with them. read more

I recently purchased a new car with leather seats. Like all cars and every car you want to take good car of it. My boyfriend recommended me and he tinted his car as well. It's preferred to make an appointment and not walk-ins because they are super busy especially on weekends. I got my 2 front and 3 back for $300. There's a life time warranty for the back and they did a great job. I got in at 4pm and they finished around 6:30pm. read more

This is the first time I have been here. I came in to get my new radio set up in my car. Quite frankly, one of the smoothest transactions I have ever experienced. Jeff and Gabby are absolutely wonderful. I had no problems at all. Once the radio was done and mind you it was 6:00 so they were closed, Gabby went with me to make sure it was operational with my iPhone Bluetooth. Unfortunately, it wasn't working at first but it's because I had my phone set up wrong, however Jeff came and helped me get my new radio set up and working! Took my car here to have a 7" android stereo installed. I had already done what had to be done in order to mount the stereo so that it was flush with the molding trim pannel. Only reason I took it in was for the wiring process which I did not dare to try myself. After installation I realized right away that the stereo was dropped and left a small dent on the stereos plastic frame. I didn't make a deal of it at all and just left it as it is with no comments made. I left happy that it was working and all but my subwoofer speaker were producing sound. I figured the sub didnt work because I was already having issues with it prior to installing this new stereo. Soon after I started to notice that all my cluster lights and back lighting to my center console started going out one after another. Some more time went by maybe like 1 month when I started to notice that my car battery kept dying. So I took it to auto zone to have it recharged. It still kept dying so I ended up buying a new battery which also kept dying. Apparently there was some problem with the wiring since I have never had any of these issues before I got this stereo installed. I had the stock stereo before this android one and it gave me 0 problems. read more

Awesome service! I was able to get the best tint price, in the entire 626 area, for my 3M Crystalline tint. I pitted them against California tint and G5 tint, and this shop beat them by miles. Amazing service from these guys! Requested a quote for all their tint products and Jeff gave me more information than I can comprehend. The pricing is fair compared to the other locations I checked. Decided to go with the 3M color stable. They do offer the 3M crystalline option, but that was out of my budget. Total was under $300, whereas other places quoted me at $300. Jeff was able to squeeze me into a early morning slot on the following Saturday. Dropped off at the car of 9 and got a call around 11:30 saying they were finished. Amazing and impeccable work after looking over the results. Jim suggested that you dont wash or roll down your windows for at least 2 days and there may be a slight haziness and bubble on the tint for a few days before the tint is fully cured. Writing this review on the 4th day and there are a few bubbles left, hopefully it'll be gone by the weekend. I did also have some noise issues when I started to use my windows again, sounds like motors were still spinning after you stop rolling the windows and some stretching as it goes down. The rolling issue seems to lessen as I used the windows more, but the stretching is still an issue. Hopefully my minor issues will subside, else I have to go to get it checked. But, overall great job by Jeff and the team! The tint looks amazing and it does a world of difference when you commute in the burning sun during the summer in SoCal. Would definitely recommend these guys. **Update** 5/5! The window sounds seems to be normal, may have not noticed it before. Took my car back to get the bubbles checked out. Jim helped me out and removed the bubbles on the spot!. Always courteous and explained everything very thoroughly of the cause. Definitely has my stamp of approval. Go check them out! read more

Well, I normally only write when my experience hits a certain nerve ending.....In this case in a good way. Since everyone is busy I will put it in bullet points to simplify it. - I've been taking all my cars to Pro Tint since 2004 upon recommendations from a friend...way before Yelp arrived. - My 2004 Honda Civic daily driver's window tint installed back in 2004 started coming apart on the lower edge. -I called and was advised that I need my original receipt ...for the low price point of $170.00 and thinking how can a tint job have any issue pop up...no I did not retain it. - The sales person mention that maybe I should talk with Jeff the owner next week since he was on vacation. - Well, today I dropped in and saw Jeff ( good thing he reconized me and me of him). I showed him the concern. With out even thinking - He said NO PROBLEM, we will redo FREE of charge! Now that is Customer Service! Most people tend to " price" shop, yes I do too. But fail to understand a few things, will that company still be there years later when you have issues ( it happened to me) ..ya life time only if the shop is still around. So, price should not be the only determining factor...the overall value equation has to be there. Enjoy your day, and yes my next car and or if any one inquires of a " place" to tint their ride. I will recommend Pro Tint. No this was unsolicited as I'm usually the one that tells it like it is....and some times I ruffle feathers too. read more

So happy for the gift I gave myself this holiday seasons and have to thank Pro-tint staffs who helped make this happened :-) Hesitantly to spend on this 10-year-old car during this much expenditure time of the year, Vivian helped me in decision making with her professional knowledge and patience. Her multi-language skill and integrity especially touched my heart! Consistently in their team from Jeff, Gabbie to Victor, the positive serving attitude have made wait and pay pleasantly. I especially appreciated both Vivian's and Victor's above and beyond service to walk me through the usage of the system after installation. Twice of my visits when either late of the day and before Thanksgiving day which people couldn't help to be easily impatient, yet the team were consistently carrying the service to customer's satisfied completion. Good job, Pro-tint! read more

I originally went to "pro tint" down the street from here but the first thing the lady did was try upselling me...offering a 400 dollar tint...I said I'd go with the cheapest one (195.00) and she kind of told me okay come back at 2 (it was 12) there was 2 other cars being worked on and no one in the waiting room. .? But i asked if i can get a appt notjust "come back later" .She kind of wanted me to drop it off but I said no I'd wait and she said it would take 3 hours....well I set up the app and went to sit in my car and wait for 2 hrs....out of curiosity I looked up the closest tint shop and California Tint came up. I called the person in charge to see how much they charge and he said (with out me disclosing my 195 original price) to come on down and they were working on another car but would tell his guys to hold off on lunch and would take me right away and it would be 135 any shades. I went in and he answered my questions and helped me choose the right tint, by the way I'm a salesman and I could tell he wasn't giving a sales pitch but rather telling me everything he knew. It was really informative and he said to give him about 2 hours. I walked to grab a burger and set my watch....came back after an hour and twenty minutes thinking I could just wait the other 40 min there but to my surprise it was done and parked. Jason then gave me some advice and sent me on his way. I was impressed by this business and will definitely be coming back as I have 2 cars. Thanks Jason! I was in and out before the other shop would have even taken me. Again Jason was really cool ask for him! The personality of the lady that helped me at pro tint sucked...The Jason guy was really energetic and informative as well. read more
