You sir are wrong like i said earlier, my stereo was working prior to me coming in, only the lcd display in the head unit was bad, but it was still playing music and controlled the cd changer. I was patient with you guys while I was there, instead of taking care of each customer in a timely manner you were juggling all of us, and trying to multitask, and you were not very efficient at it, you made everyone wait longer by going back and forth. I'll post pictures of my wiring, if YOU and your installer actually looked, the connections are wrapped in electrical and foam tape so the plastic connectors don't rattle in the dash, a factory Rover procedure. Comments like me having cut wires is total bs, your lack of attention to detail made you fail to see that the wiring was wrapped and a preventative measure. The part I was most disappointed with, was you putting back the radio, just lazily shoved in and protruding, no attempt at all was made to put it back in properly. Then the icing on the cake was your intaller telling me the radio was not working and that's how it came in, really?? And why would I come back a 3rd time after I was disappointed 2 times prior, my time is valuable to me. You guys had two chances to earn my business, unfortunately, to you, the dollar amount I was speeding there doesn't warrant that same as other customers spending more. Thanks but no thanks on your offers, I went somewhere else that appreciates restoring a classic, they did the work flawlessly. read more

I came early on a Tuesday and they were able to start on my car (Highlander) immediately. Gabby was very helpful in explaining to me the different types of film. I ended up getting the 3M Color Stable on the rear of my car and Bekaert on the driver and passenger side windows. However, when we were talking, I was under the impression that the price I paid would include tinting on my front windshield too. I referred to the front and back of the car and I assumed that the front would include the windshield. It wasn't until I left that I realized that wasn't the case. Regardless, the workmanship here appears to be excellent, and while their prices may be a bit on the expensive side, it includes a lifetime warranty and they're pretty quick to finish, without compromising quality. I will consider coming back here to get my front windshield done. read more

Great customer service, Jeff fit me in even though there was a ambiguous no response from another customer. Their team is professional and quick, finished an hour ahead of schedule. read more

Value is based on perception of the customer and feeling like you received more than what you paid... Even more so, value is overcoming a tough situation with a resolution that the consumer feels is in their favor. Jeff helped me to overcome a simple problem with my tint job AND he did it by helping me find what I really wanted in the first place. He absorbed the labor cost of a couple windows that had no issues just to make me happy and I now have exactly what I wanted for my car. Anyone who claims to get things 100% right 100% of the time is lying, Jeff is an honest guy who does great work AND owns up to his responsibility to fix things that are not done right the first time. I am someone who shops value, not cost, and realize you get what you pay for. In this instance I not only got great value but also a killer deal. I am looking forward to buying my speakers and amp system from you in the new year. To anyone looking for tint OR car audio/ gadgets, I would strongly recommend that you consider this little shop. Pricing is fair and service was GREAT!! read more

I am reviewing here just for the tints, as I have no experience with the other services they offer: When I was considering getting my car tinted, everyone around me said "Oh! Go to California Tint just down the street!", and certainly, if you are looking for dirt cheap prices, and darker window it's hard to beat. My goal however was to maximize heat resistance WITHOUT getting pulled over by cops due to gangster style coatings. Even with mixed reviews, I decided to stop in pro-tint anyway to get a price comparison and see if there's anything I would be missing - and I am glad I did. Basically, why pro-tint is a bit more (not a lot more) expensive than California Tint is they offer superior products. Have you ever heard of 3M Crystalline for example? It is a clear tint that you can also apply to your window shield and makes a massive difference if your shield is as big as mine. Try reading reviews on this product online. It is not easy to install and that's why you need more skilled people to do it. Let me just say it is an awesome experience having friends climb into your car and being surprised that without using a wind shade, how quickly the car cools. They say , "wow - great a/c." and I always correct them "actually, great tint". Before getting this done, it would take more car about twice as long to cool down. Also, I decided to write this review a year later because I wanted to see how things are holding up after different weather conditions, car washes, etc.. Looks perfect! My guess is others who have bubbles may have been an installation problem, but more likely a product problem. When reading other reviews, ask yourself what you want in a tint - if just color, then the makeup is acceptable at California tint. If you believe performance, go Pro-tint. One star off just because this place gets really really busy on weekends and seems they could hire more people. read more

This place is amazing! I've never had anything tinted in my life except for my eyebrows and Jeff and Jasmine put me right at ease explaining all the different options. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable with my purchase and were extremely patient with the myriad of questions I had. I came back to Pro Tint a couple weeks later to have even more of my car tinted because I was so satisfied with the excellent services and stellar results. My car is totally ready to beat this summer heat. I absolutely recommend Pro Tint all the way!!! read more

I've taken both my Prius and my Jag XJL to Pro Tint. They did a great job on both. In fact, they had quite a hard time with my Jag's rear window. Since it is a new model and they have not done one of these before; they didn't realize how difficult it was to get back there all the way. The staff made a couple of attempts then Jeff (the owner) stepped in to get it done right and made sure there will be no bubbles and the window is thoroughly cleaned. It ended up taking longer and they had to use more material than expected; but Jeff didn't charge me more than what was originally quoted. I've have had the car for 5 months now and have not had any problems with the tint. read more

Pro Tint is awesome. This shop will give you top of the line work for honest prices. Jeff the owner is a very hands on guy when it comes to customer service and is always there to help answer any and all of your questions. I've had numerous things done to my truck there including my stereo, car alarm, tint, nav system, and cb radio. These guys know exactly what they are doing and do it right the first time every time. I recommend this shop to all of my friends and i recommend it for you as well. Wouldn't take my truck anywhere else... read more

I never understood the purpose of tinting and could care less about whether I had a vehicle that was tinted or not. Once I got married my husband tried to convert me to "tint is better" attitude. Although I'm not sure I'm fully converted, I am definitely sold based on the work and service we received here. This owner and his wife were so fantastic and by the end of the experience it really did seem like we were friends! We were babysitting our cute little niece and the guy was so helpful with us, giving us water bottles to refill the bottle, turning on the air to soothe the crying baby, and just being there. His guys did an incredible job on our car and although we live 6 hours away I wouldn't use anyone else but them to do any tinting on the car! The work was completed with a lot of precision and detail. Great work guys!! Thank you! 5 stars all the way! 43/100 read more

I got a lot of quotes around for both color stable and crystalline tints. Pro Tint was the best deal around LA. I came in on an early Friday afternoon so they were able to take me after about ten minutes. I did a lot of research, asked a lot of questions and they gave me honest opinions. They finished in about 2.5 hours with all 6 windows (including windshields). Their couch area is comfy and the staff is friendly. The tints look good. We'll see how it holds up. read more

I'm really pleased with their service. So, don't waste your time and money to somewhere else cause Jeff and the crew from Pro Tint are descent and honest. Jose installed my rear view camera I bought from Amazon in a little over an hour and the installation fees were reasonable. I would give them another business and would recommend them to friends and family. read more

The go to for your tint, the owner Jeff is patient with me and shows me what each percentage looks like. I don't post many reviews but he is the man, really knowledgable about the whole business. I've been going to this place for several years now. I have 2 vehicles and they have done stereo systems, window tinting, gps, alarms, reverse camera system and head light upgrades for me. I obviously keep returning for a reason! The prices may not be the cheapest in town but that's for several reasons: 1. You're getting reputable items, 2. You're getting quality service and 3. You're treated like a friend not a stranger. Jeff and his wife Gabby are very friendly and sweet people. If you want quality service that will last I suggest saving your money and coming here and having it done right! I would and I have highly recommend this place to many friends! One thing that I can't stand is when you go to a place of business and you hear the staff cussing and being disrespectful. I have never once experienced that here! The entire staff is courteous and professional. I've never seen them or their boss Jeff in a bad mood or arguing. If you want quality all the way around you will find it here! read more

Took my new Nissan Leaf a week ago for a tint and it came out really nice. Came in the morning with no appointment. I was told to come back at 11:30 am but they actually finished it around 12:45 pm. You know what, I'm still giving them 5 stars. They worked with my budget and worked overtime on top of that! What a sweet deal. There are things that you can't rush and I believe tinting a car is one of them! Keep up the good work guys!! read more

I don't normally write reviews on Yelp but Pro Tint did such great work that I absolutely had to. Super great customer service from before I even stepped foot in the store (through Yelp messages) and while I was there, the entire time was amazing customer service and friendliness all around. Everything was fantastic. Very satisfied with the work I got (window tinting) and all fairly priced. 100% will be back again for other services in the future. Big thank you and shoutout to Jeff and his team for their great work and service today. 5 stars well earned and deserved. read more

I am writing this review because my parents, who do not have a Yelp account, have asked me to do so and because I am the prodigal son, I am obliged to obey. They were very impressed by Pro Tint and if I know anything about my parents, it's because the store offered them a big discount. They didn't get their car windows tinted, which in my mind is a good thing since generally speaking the only people that get their windows tinted are shady people or drivers who never use their indicator, cut people off in traffic, drive slow in the left lane, etc. Instead, they got a back up camera installed at a decent price. They asked me to give 5 stars so here it is: "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" read more

Recently took my car to Pro Tint and they did an amazing job on my Honda Civic! The staff at pro tint are super informative and welcoming. Upon going to the tint shop, I had no knowledge of the different types of tints there is. The staff showed us examples of how each tint looks and gave a demo of how each type of tint would feel when it gets in contact with sunlight. The final product came out great and I would definitely recommend anyone to come here and get their tint done. read more

Their service was great. Jeff was very attentive and addressed my questions regarding tinting my Tesla model 3. Their price was also reasonable. There are questionable shops out there but this one is definitely ethical and responsible. I would highly recommend it. read more

Excellent service and more than excellent customer service! I don't like spend time writing Yelp reviews, but this shop deserves a good review so I'd like to spend little time sharing my experiences with Jeff. This shop has been here more than 10 years( sorry I don't know how many years exactly, but it was there already when I moved to Arcadia) Good business stayed, bad one got kicked out, simple rule. It existed for a well reason: good service. Couple years ago did a window tinting for my 2005 Infiniti g35 coupe, along with an AUX input. Excellent service! Two months ago brought my new Infiniti Q50 for full window tinting. Came back again for a Viper smartstart system and front bumper paint protection film. And I came again today for interior LED lights installed. Prices are very reasonable. Jeff and his wife and all workers are very friendly. I'd definitely recommend all of friends for customizing vehicles here! read more

I am so happy I came to this place. Thank you Jeff, Jim, Eduardo, Daniel, Angel and the rest of the crew at Pro Tint. These guys truly genuinely care about there customers. I had a small issue after my tints were installed, and I let them know and Jeff quickly took care of it which I greatly appreciated it. Other places I feel are not the same we're once you get something done they will not help you if something goes wrong and just move on to the next person. I gave them the opportunity to make things right and they did above expectations which I am truly thankful for. The tints look great and also most tints are backed up by a lifetime warranty which is enough proof for me to feel confident in there work. I had my friend go to Pro Tint and he was also highly satisfied. If you are looking for a good quality tint or any vehicle accessories give Jeff at Pro Tint a Try. read more

Pro Tint did many things right, I waited a little over a month to write this for those wondering if my tint has settled in. I only knocked them down one star due to a couple of minor air bubbles on my front windshield. Otherwise perfect. They were quick to respond on Yelp for a quote, easy to call and book an appointment, informative regarding the product offerings, and the install was quick. Check them out I'm sure you'll have a good experience. read more

Vehicle: Maserati Levante Work done: SolarGuard Tint This is my second vehicle that I have brought to Pro Tint. My review is based off a telephone call. I called to inquire about a quote to have my amplifier relocated from the back of my seat to the top of my sub box. The gentleman on the phone took down my name and telephone number and stated I would get a call once the sales associate was finished with whatever they needed to do. 3-4 hours past and I received a call from the same person saying they forgot to forward my information and asked what it was I needed again and said they would have someone call me back. I never got a call back. Good try on the customer service part but if this is a problem, I wonder how the actual service of relocating my amp would be. read more

AWESOME!!! Service and great quality. Staff is very hospitable and professional. Highly recommended from this customer. Jeff and Steve helped me out step by step from picking the product all the way up to the actual installation. I got a back up camera installed and it works wonders. I've called other places over the phone and I was told to come another day or that they had no time. I came to Pro-Tint and was taken care of immediately without an appointment. If you want top notch service at a great price and professional staff that ACTUALLY take pride in their work, then this is the spot for you. As for this customer I will be returning. Thank you again Jeff and Steve for the quality job. read more

I was searching for top rated professional tinting locations near Pasadena Ca and ran into Pro tint Inc on google. So I decided to give them a call after I called a few other places. I ended up speaking to Jeff who happens to be the owner over the phone and he was very professional and reasonable in his prices (best in town). I informed him that this would be my first time getting tints done and he explained the differences of grades of tints which was very helpful. I decided to go in and after a couple hours my car looked totally different but in the best way. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get tints done or any other type of business they offer from them. I have no complaints with the establishment whatsoever and I will be going back. read more

Professionalism from start to end. Felt like I was in good hands and they really cared to provide great service. Got a price quote and made an appointment for me same day. Given care instructions and the tint job looks great with lifetime warranty. Thank you, Jim, you are great! read more

Had a Viper alarm and tint installed on my car, overall love the work. It's better a little over a year now and they're holding up. I went to get my 2015 CRV tinted last weekend. I chose 3 M crystalline complete tint (except windshield). Really satisfied with the quality of work and product. The process reasonably took 3 hours to finish. The price is cheaper, compared with another vendors. I go with 70 for front-sides and 40 for back sides and rear window. The film does good job to block the heat. I will go back to get my windshield tinted later. Thank you, Jeff and his team. read more

I just had my windows tinted and it was quick and simple. Jeff helped me and he was very kind and friendly! He made sure to answer all my questions and was honest about different types of films and their pros and cons. He was super patient too because I had a ton of questions. I signed some papers and just went to the waiting room to wait. The couches were comfy! I was in and out around an hour and my windows looked pretty great. I have had work performed on 3 vehicles here and the employees at Pro Tint have done a fantastic job each time I have visited! In each case, I have had windows tinted and xenon headlights installed. Appointments were easy to make, and the work was completed in a relatively short period of time. In one instance, there was some bubbling on the tinting - due to how the window was created by Honda - and Pro Tint did a great job smoothing it out. Am about ready to take my 4th vehicle, a Honda Pilot, to Pro Tint to install a set of xenon headlights. I highly recommend this shop! read more

I have been here several of times and can't really say anything bad about these guys. The owners is a pretty cool guy. The other workers were always nice and informative. I've been here twice for audio installs and twice for tint jobs. Their price on speakers were not as pricy as some other places i had visited. I had them install component speakers on my acura inteagra I used to own. The installation was very quick. Another time I had them install amps and sub woofers to my existing aftermarket system on my g35. The install went well but i did have to wait a couple hours. so that was the only bad side As for their tint jobs, I was always happy with their services and products. I never went with the cheapo tint film though, just the mid grade or the top of the line. I no longer own those car anymore so i can not comment on how long it lasts or how they handle their warranties. I have sent my friends here and they have all been happy. read more
