I have 2 small kids and was worried about them being attacked while walking from our front door to the car. I looked through the local Facebook pages at recommendations and contacted the top two names I kept seeing recommended over and over. Neither of those companies saw my issue as a priority and were in no hurry to come out. They wanted me to wait about 2 weeks. I went on Yelp and saw this company, Family First Pest Solutions. The name immediately drew me in because I'd much rather support a family business as opposed to a huge chain. They didn't have many reviews, but the reviews they did have were amazing. I requested a quote on Yelp and got an answer within 20 mins with a list of different pricing options. Wow. Most companies like to beat around the bush or give you a huge estimate range. These people were to the point. I called and Linda immediately answered the phone. She was so sweet and said she would try to get us in today. (This was about 2pm and most businesses close at 5pm. I was very hopeful and appreciated them trying to get us taken care of.) Sure enough, her husband, the technician, texted me an estimated window of arrival. He gave me an ETA about 20 mins before showing up and arrived exactly when he said he would. He identified the problem immediately and explained how he was going to get rid of the wasps. He did his job quickly and let me know that the work was guaranteed for 60 days. Just like he said, within 2 days the wasps are completely gone. The professionalism, kindness, communication, and willingness to help us has made an impact. We will for sure be calling them in the future if we need anything. Their prices are fair as well, including the monthly maintenance packages. They blow the big chain company that starts with a "D" out of the water for sure. If you have any kind of pest issues, definitely give them a call. I promise you they will treat you better than the big guys will. We will recommend them any chance we get.

We purchased the best pre-emergent and weed killer online. We bought the dye to add to the pre-emergent, we even bought the top-of-the-line typhoon back pack sprayer, that thing alone was 300 bucks! All that equipment to fight the good fight... only to FAIL MISERABLY! ( sigh ) All that work spraying our half acre of the American Dream! It took 4 back breaking hours and countless mosquito & bug bites. Thinking back, it was more like a nightmare! All that dirty, sweaty work for the first rain to come and... BAM! ( maybe it's NOT so bad where you live after all! ) Still, if you can't have a beautiful green lawn with nice foliage like you may have "once" had...clean, weed-free dirt is the next best thing!
