We've been customers with Dewey Pest Control since last year, around October. A young man came to our door advertising their services. I absolutely hate it when people solicit business that way but I decided to give them a chance. I signed a contract with them for one year of service at what they told me was a discounted rate, based on military discount. We receive service every other month and only get billed when we receive service. I will say their system is really wonky. They send out bills even though they take my payment out every time I receive service. I didn't want to get double charged so I went in-person to ask about it. When my daughter and I stopped by their office, it was difficult to find parking but we found a spot. Their office door was solid, no window and locked. It was so weird. I thought the business was closed. I knocked on the door and was half greeted with suspicion until I revealed I'm a customer and have a billing question. The guy let us in and explained they lock the door because sometimes people want to use the bathroom. They could just put up a sign saying no public bathroom but okay. I'm not sure what kind of 'people' they're trying to keep out. It was an instant turn off. After speaking with a young woman she explained they always mail out bills but they could stop doing that if I wanted. The service technician, Ruben, is a nice guy. He texts me every time the day before he's scheduled to come out and I appreciate his professionalism and courtesy. The only thing is, I wish there was more of a consistent schedule but I'm grateful for knowing in advance when he comes out. He always does a good job and I have noticed less bugs and insects since we've started using Dewey. We have an indoor cat but sometimes we let him in the front and backyard. I like that Dewey's sprays are supposed to be safe for animals. Overall, I'm content with their service. read more

Dewey P. C., Very professional and most importantly, to me at least, their always on time!!! Whenever I call a live person answers and displays professionalism. I've used the other rival companies but I stick with Dewey because of their great customer service. read more

Love Dewey Pest Control. For the past eight years plus, they have been affordable and efficient. I've had several different techs since I've been with them and all have been great. My latest tech is Clifton. He's very professional and thorough and he's a nice guy. He goes above and beyond and asks what needs to be done. He recently placed mousetraps in my garage and advised me to call to change them out if I wasn't comfortable doing so myself. Clifton is awesome! read more

BEST EVER SERVICE TECH: JONATHAN!!!! I have been with Dewey for almost a year now. My first experience was a little rough, Dewey listened to my concerns and provided me with the most EXCELLENT PLEASANT BRILLIANT KIND EFFICIENT service man. Jonathan has been taking excellent care of my property and provides intellectual information that is very much appreciated! Jonathan is an asset to this company, and hopefully Dewey recognizes him in high value. Thank you Jonathan for all that you do and for taking very good care of my property! I have not had my property look so good with no pest problems for a long time!!!! *happy camper* read more

You people are ridiculous, we don't use Dewey Pest Contol and their constant bothering us is absolutely insane and ignorant.

Christian does an excellent job. He is professional, punctual, and courteous during each and every phone call and service. We have yet to have to call the company to retreat after any treatment and servicing. We appreciate Christian's hard work as well as a company who values their customers. read more

Great work controlling insects. Employee is such a great guy with a great work ethics. He knows his job. I recommend him. I've enjoyed this company. And I recommend the company. read more

Amazing service, good value for the money, and they come out as needed when there is an issue.

The only negative thing I have to say about Dewey is their phone lines are AWFUL. They explained to me that they use internet for the phone service so it is not the best. It's been so bad before that the customer service reps have had to call me from other phone numbers. Dewey please get a better phone line because if my grandparents did not swear by this company I would have hung up and called a different one. BUT, I did get them to come out and service my home and I will say the bug problem is much better now and Robert was on time, informative, kind, and professional. Overall I am happy with the actual service but every time I call to schedule it is a bit frustrating. read more

Very good tech. He gave me his phone number and will put me on his schedule next day if I need anything! Would recommend.

Dewey Pest Control is the greatest! We love the professional attitude as well. We have not seen any creepy crawlers in a over a yea! read more

Horrible, horrible! I called their office for an appointment on Friday January 26, 2024. The lady, Tina, told me someone would be coming to my home on Monday January 29, 2024 between 8 am and 12pm. At 11:30 am i called to find out if their technician was still on his way and they had no clue about my appointment, instead i was told the tech only comes out once per month to my area, why didn't they say that before they made me wait? Will never use them. read more

Jon is my technician and he is awesome and very knowledgeable. Whole staff is very professional, respectful and friendly. If I have any problems after monthly spray Jon is prompt to come back at know extra charge. read more

So many times when a bad experience happens we can't wait to share and caution others . This is not one those days I This week I had a front door visit from Dewey who had scheduled neighbors for service . While we have had problems with pests I would spray myself usually every 2 weeks and control them for the most part , my wife suggested we have the professionals do it and see how it goes . We retained the service and are we Impressed ! Excellent communication they showed on time , very professional and best of all No Bugs anywhere to be seen . WoW ! read more

So someone wearing a Dewey shirt named Jacob knocks on my door while my wife is home alone advertising for pest control services. My wife says no thank you and closes the door. I have 10 cameras watching my property in Hesperia as theft has been a worsening issue the past couple years. So as my wife is watching on the cameras Jacob walks across the front of my garage and turns the corner headed towards my backyard to get a better look towards the back where my workshop is. He then turns and leaves and goes to the neighbors house. Not very professional but not terrible. The real issue is when my wife called Dewey concerned just to make sure it's really a Dewey employee and not just a thief with a Dewey shirt scoping out our neighborhood. The person that answered the phone at Dewey was a complete ass and treated my wife terribly. "All I can tell you is we may have people canvassing the area. I cannot confirm if they came to your neighborhood." Extremely rude tone of voice. Made my wife feel like she was an idiot for showing concern. Usually when people call that might be willing to hand you their hard earned money in exchange for services you shouldn't treat them like sh*t. Extremely poor customer service. read more

The summertime always seems to bring out ants in our kitchen and bathroom every year. We have used other services, but Dewey is the most responsive. Thank you to Ken for his wonderful customer service, and to Bryan for coming out immediately when we needed to address an ant issue. read more

I absolutely hate this company at this point! Nothing but issues. They don't give a notice when they will come for service and think it's ok to just show up when they find the time. They don't follow through when they say the manager will call me back after another issue I had. I will take my business somewhere else. Manager documented he called and he did not. read more

I recently received 5 star service from Johnnie. I have always had great service from Dewey and would highly recommend them to everyone. I haven't had an issue with ANYTHING inside or outside since acquiring service from Dewey. Check them out! You'll be happy you did. read more

Great pest control service company. Bob is very efficient in his work and does amazing with the services at our commercial property. I would highly recommend Dewey pest control and ask for Bob. He really takes his job seriously and make sure that we have zero pest at the property read more

I tried to call this place today to get a quote, the 1st time whomever answered hung up in my face(that was my red flag that I wouldn't be doing business with this place). Called right back, the person answering the phone appeared to be irritated and preoccupied not very helpful, then put me on hold, I hung up and called a real company with professionals answering the phone. I would never use this company, there's a reason they barely have 2.5 stars. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! These companies need to keep in mind that it's the customer who pays the bills, without customer's, you have no business and from the looks of it this company is barely in business. Get it together!!!! read more

To whom it may concern, here it is in writing, that I am canceling your service. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism you displayed on the phone with me, your customer service and your duties to actually execute your service at my home. I have been called several times and I was tricked on the phone, about getting caught up in payments and that you continued the service and are still trying to charge me. The last time I paid you guys, I told you that I no longer wanted your services and that it is to end. At that time, no one I was speaking to told me that I have to send it in writing and I thought we were done. You said that because I was paid up because you charge 2 months at a time that the service guy would still come out. I thought for one last time. Not that you were going to keep charging me. I saw your service tech didn't even go into my backyard, where I have fire ants. As a business, you should be disappointed, in your employees that there business tactics are lewd, dirty and dishonest. You have no idea, normally I do not ever say anything bad about people, but after today's conversation, I am going to point out how dirty, nasty and shitty you guys are at branch 04..... On yelp, Facebook, Instagram and anywhere else I can find to let people know that they'd get better service from a 2 dollar hooker than at branch 04. read more

Best Pest control, forget the rest. Ive had two other pest control companies and Dewey is the only one that answers my calls right away, takes care of pesky cockroaches ,spiders Etc.. they always call before they're coming over to give me the heads-up which I like. Employees are always so personable and knowledgeable. I had Alberto came on January 15th of this year, and he answered so many questions for me. I found him to be so helpful. They will always leave extra sticky traps if needed. Because I get black widows even in my mailbox. read more

Josh, our technician is always fantastic. He always listens to our concerns and finds a way to make sure we are satisfied. He always is professional and so friendly! He always has a smile on his face and is always willing to make sure we feel comfortable in our home with OUT pest! When we moved in our house there were so many spiders and even cockroaches (waterbugs?). After our three girls screaming their heads off a couple times we decided to give Dewey a try and I'm happy to report we no longer see anything of the sort! Definitely recommend! read more

Not reliable! They also charge me for 2 months they didn't show up. They claimed to have showed but we didn't get a notice on the door nor where they picked up on the cameras that we have all around our property. Unfortunately they locked us into a one year contract. read more

Our representative is Christophe (sorry for the misspelling of your name) is very communicative, informative, and friendly. He stops to talk to you rather than keeps on working. Very good service. Thank you! read more

This review is ONLY about their advertising and my "first impression." Based on phone contact with them, I decided not to pursue Dewey for my termite problem. Be cautious about their offer for a "free" estimate. A Termite estimate is NOT free. It is $75 dollars... and then IF you choose to have them do work, the $75 is included. Now this isn't "terrible," but they are definitely not up front with the cost of an inspection. So, if you are trying to get more than one opinion about a potential problem and action plan, factor this in. When I called the toll-free (their corporate location) to ask about the "free inspection listed on their website (in multiple places), one of the questions they asked was, "Where did you see that?" The story is a bit longer, but I've already been long-winded enough. I suppose that based on the appearance of snake-oil sales tactics, I was very leery of doing business with them. read more

I called in and got a quote to have a prepaid scheduled maintenance. I spoke with Corey and she was super friendly, when I called back to schedule I spoke to another gal who was just as friendly. I scheduled for a particular Tuesday and asked if the next day (Friday) was available just for giggles I knew it was short notice. We scheduled and the next day I was contacted by a young man named Jon. He informed me even though we were scheduled he was not going to be in and asked if there was another day that would work. Jon went ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate us in even staying late to come out. My husband was home for the spray and said he was SUPER informative about what bugs he saw and pests and possible pests, he just went above and beyond to help us and keep our house bug free! Awesome customer service from Jon. read more

We moved to Apple valley just over a year ago...and while we were the type to skip spraying all together in our previous places of residency, we were so thankful to have Christophe from Dewey on our team! It's definitely a must in the high desert and they provide many options and are very accommodating to your specific needs. Christophe has always been very thorough and is a wonderful person in general. We fully trust him to take care of us. Since his first visit we have had zero issues at our home and on our property. He's very knowledgeable and quick. We're thankful! read more

We've been happy with Dewey Pest Control in Victorville, near CostCo. Their service people who come out to the house are good neighbors in how they interact with you, at least that's how it's been with who we have met and worked with. Do keep in mind, when you are getting close to cancelling after your contract period, they need at least thirty days to stop charging you. Just put it in your calendar ahead of time. Start on the closing-out process early and I would expect that things will work out fine. read more

Horrible experience! Hard to schedule with. They show up for 10 minutes walk around with a sprayer still had ants in the front yard ask them to see if there was mice in the garage did nothing. Handed me the traps and told me where to put them. Would never sign up with them again. Came by the house unannounced with no one home and only sprayed the front and if they even sprayed. read more

*Do not recommend!* Really displeased with this company.. Tried to show grace to "Devin" who charged me $250 for 30 days of mouse trapping.. Which I thought was expensive for just some glue traps and checking them daily.. Well, Devin didn't show up on one day and claims he did.. but didn't leave me a courtesy notice? Interesting.. He didn't really seem to care too much so I asked to speak to his supervisor, Martin.. Explained my situation and need for a tech who is serious about getting rid of the mice in my house.. Said he can send a new tech to finish my 30 day contract and that I'd be receiving a call today from the tech. I never received a call and I wasn't pleased with the supervisor.. He didn't seem to care either. Finally the next day, got a call 5 mins before the new tech was supposed to be at my house and states they're running late- 25 mins.. I asked to reschedule for tomorrow as I can't wait and have to be down the hill. I was fine rescheduling as I thought the contract was for the days the tech was coming to my house providing service.. Come to find out that the $250 I paid for 30 days is everyday since I signed the contract including the day "Devin" didn't show or when I had to reschedule.. What a rip off.. On a more positive note, the new tech- Sterling was extremely helpful, understanding, patient and kind. Throughout his service he caught more mice than the previous/ careless tech.. I am very pleased with Sterling and his customer service. But I am so highly disappointed with Dewey Pest Control (Victorville) and their POOR customer service. I will not be returning for service ever again! read more

I would have agreed with the previous reviews when people had suggested "going elsewhere" until the past 6 months when I started seeing some significant customer service improvements. For starters, I have been a customer for years now and have seen some heinous customer service issues with our previous technicians however when I addressed the issue with management citing specific occurrences, they promptly addressed the issue, replaced the technician (who also no longer works for the company) and has since sent me EXCELLENT technicians. The BEST technician I have ever had in all of my years of pest control service (and that's well over a decade) is Noah. He is the reason I am a happy customer instead of a disgruntled one. Regarding the product, IT WORKS! It's very effective and I have had zero issues with pests. Cost? Very inexpensive. My suggestion, try it out now. They've made some positive changes and it's worth your time to try. read more
