I was in the…read moremarket for a new violin and thought I'd give Cornell a try since I hadn't seen any negative reviews. I called to make my appointment, which I originally thought I'd have to do on the weekend since all other string stores are closed by the time I'm off work, and Molly was happy to give me some time on a Thursday night. I think I was there till a little after 8 and at no point did I feel rushed. When I arrived she had a select few violins ready for me to try for my level. In our initial phone call I hadn't given too much information about my skill but her selections for me were 100% what I needed. From reviews at other shops I thought I was going to be pressured into buying something expensive that I didn't need. That was absolutely not the case here. The selections she showed me were all in my price range and she answered any questions I had to make sure I chose the perfect instrument. I'll definitely be coming back.

Gary is the only one that works on saxophones, so his list can get pretty long, especially during the summer months when school is out. However, he always does his best to fit you in and work with your schedule. The work he does is fantastic! He's put some new pads on with the kangaroo skin he works with and recently did an overhaul of the right hand and I've noticed such a huge difference in my ease of playing the low notes. I kept thinking it was me the whole time until he fixed it up and now I'm playing great! No need for an appointment, you can just show up with your instrument. If you are on a deadline though, I would call to see how his list is looking and why your projected turnaround time is.

This is our third studio we have been at since my daughter started dancing ten years ago, and it is one that we truly feel welcome and blessed to be a part of. All of the families that attend this studio are very nice and welcoming. And there is no crazy drama like former places we've been. I cannot recommend this dance studio enough as the main instructor is phenomenal and has some of the best choreography and standards that we have ever had with a dance studio. This studio is professionally, run and is held by high standards that they are accredited under. If you're looking for a studio, where your child will be dancing to age appropriate music and wearing appropriate costumes this is your place. If you have a son that loves to dance they would really love attending here as my son is part of a great group of boys his age that all share the same love of dance and have become great friends. I can't praise this studio enough and im beyond grateful to be a part of this dance family.

They don't offer everything you would see at a Guitar Center or Sam Ash but what they do offer is an exceptional selection of guitars, Basses, ukuleles, mandolins, tube and solid-state amps, effects pedals, instrument accessories and more. They carry mostly Fender, Squire, Taylor, Martin, PRS, and Reverend guitars. They literally have one wall filled with Taylor and Martin guitars, another one filled with PRS, and a third all Fender, its pretty awesome. If you are a die hard for any of these brands, I highly recommend stopping in to check them out. I always wanted a Fender Telecaster but after seeing the Reverend Eastsider they had, I am willing to reconsider, that thing was sick! Staff were super friendly and welcoming. I struck up a conversation with Grayson, one of the store associates and he informed me they also give lessons on a variety of instruments. Pricing is $30 for a half hour and $60 for an hour lesson, which is pretty much the going rate. I could hear one of the piano teachers playing Bohemian Rhapsody in the background and she was great. The store is well kept, clean, and orderly. Although the store has been here for a while now, everything looks like it is in like new condition. All of the guitars are kept clean from dust and staff maintains everything very well., Good job! I really wanted to support the store even though I didn't need anything, so I bought a pack of strings and a PRS keychain pick holder, and now that I have been using it daily, I cannot live without it. Thank you for the recommendation, Grayson. If you happen to be in the area and love music shops and want to support local, I highly recommend checking out R & R Guitars.

I used to live in this neck of the woods and would visit this store frequently. Since we were in the area, I wanted to stop back in for old-times sake. The store was orderly and clean, and they have a great variety of instruments to choose from. I was actually looking for an Ovation acoustic guitar and they had one; unfortunately, it was a 12-string. The staff member that was working there pointed me in the right direction to find one though, which was great; thank you for that! I am interested in upgrading to a newer keyboard and noticed they have several Yamaha, Korg, Nord, Roland, Moog, and Casio options on display, most notably were the Yamaha Montage M8 & M6, and a used Korg Juno. I would have really been interested in testing out the Korg Grand Stage X or a Korg Kronos 88. They have a great enclosed room for some of the higher-end electric guitars ($2,000+) and separate room for the acoustic guitars. This is a great way to sample different guitars and really take in the sound to see if it's the right choice for you. I noticed that most of the new or higher end guitars are all locked to the wall hangers, so you need to ask for assistance if you want to try something out. Most of the lower end models and used guitars are not locked but also not setup or tuned. I sampled three Hollow body Gretsch guitars that I thought looked great, and they were out of tune and the action was wacky. Not the end of the world but I play all the time and when I'm trying something out and it's not setup properly I hang it back up and move on. I'm not going to spend $600+ on something that I have to spend time setting up or pay someone to setup. I also noticed they were selling an EVH Wolfgang Special for $1,200 but it was missing its chrome nut locks, Yikes! A new set will cost you about $20. I ended up purchasing a D'Addario Reflex Capo for $22. I've never had one of these and always wanted to learn a song or two using a capo. This one is durable, adjustable, can be used on electric or acoustic guitars, and has two built-in pick holders which is great. All-in-all, it was a great visit and I would definitely shop here again. If you are a newbie to buying a guitar, I would recommend bringing someone with you that has more experience to ensure you get a guitar that is setup and is worth your hard-earned money before you go all-in.
