I truly believe that Dr. Dunn's willingness to trial medications and allowing us to make the decisions with her guidance not only gave us additional time with Jadie that we wouldn't have had otherwise, but also helped us emotionally through watching our dog decline. Dr. Buffington and his team took care of us when the time came, and it was truly the best experience a person could have had when going through the pain of letting your best friend go. He even sent a follow up email the following morning reassuring us that we'd made the right choice, and we received a card signed by the entire clinic. Today we bring our new puppy to the clinic that we trusted with my best friend's life.

This is the first review I've ever written -- and I wish it didn't have to be this one…read more We brought our healthy, happy 1-year-old dog, Lucy, to LiveWell Animal Hospital in Little Elm for a routine spay surgery. That same night, she collapsed at home and died in our arms. The emergency clinic confirmed the cause was internal bleeding -- a known and preventable complication when proper surgical technique and post-op monitoring aren't followed. LiveWell was notified of her death the very next morning. We waited for any acknowledgment -- a call, an email, anything. There was none. Not even from the veterinarian who performed her surgery, Dr. William Tadlock. Days passed. We reached out. Still silence. The only time we ever heard from the clinic was after posting a review -- and even then, the call wasn't from Dr. Tadlock. Weeks later, we began receiving automated reminders that Lucy was "due for her annual vaccines." This, despite multiple notifications that she had passed away. I had to call and ask for her to be removed from their system. It's now been over two months, and we've still received no explanation, no accountability, and no sincere acknowledgment of what happened. I've filed a formal complaint with the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners and am pursuing further action. The fatal complication rate for spay surgeries is less than 0.2% -- about 1 death per 1,000 procedures. Lucy was a healthy young dog. This outcome is extremely rare -- and in our case, we believe entirely preventable. It warrants investigation and accountability. Dr. William Tadlock and this clinic failed Lucy catastrophically -- and failed us as her family. The lack of communication, compassion, and basic responsibility we've experienced is beyond anything I expected from a medical provider, especially one trusted with the lives of animals. Lucy wasn't "just a dog." She was part of our family. She was deeply loved. We trusted LiveWell to care for her -- and that trust cost her life. If you're considering this clinic for surgery or any procedure requiring real medical oversight, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. Don't risk what we lost.

Monarch veterinary Hospital certainly met the mark! While I was out of town, my dog got quite sick so as soon as I got back into town, I called and they fit me in right away. Everyone was friendly, the nurses and the doctor and office staff, everyone was top-notch. The pricing was very reasonable for everything, the exam, a probiotic, an antibiotic, and something to help with his diarrhea. We're so glad to hear your girl is feeling more comfortable. It's always rewarding to see how much of a difference the right supplements and diet adjustments can make. Thank you again for your kind words! Reggie D. Walker Local Guide·155 reviews·1 photo just now New I have bringing all of my pets to this clinic when I moved to Little Elm and then Frisco. Although I will state that the veterinarian is friendly, I have at times questioned his knowledge, and judgment with today being my most recent concern. Previously, a couple of years ago, I brought my pit bull here, due to him falling ill unexpectedly, long story short, I brought him here and he was given a shot and I was told that he would be ok in a few days, however he died the next day from kennel cough! So the doctor misdiagnosed the diagnosis. I was extremely hurt and I had him cremated. Fast forward to today, I took my two remaining fur babies for their normal annual exam and to get their nails clipped. (Keep in mind this veterinarian has clipped both my dogs nails for years) The technician seemed confused and forgot that I had just asked for their nails to be clipped. She didn't forget to add the nail clipping charge to the bill though... Moving on, so took my little baby back first and then my big baby second to clip their nails and complete their blood work. Out of nowhere, I hear my baby let out a loud yelp! The veterinarian never came in to update me as to why or what was going on. The technician advised that my fur baby was too nervous and needs to be sedated in order to get his nails clipped. I have never seen this happen when they have clipped his nails before. With the understanding that things happen and pets change their behaviors as well, I was most concerned with the lack of explanation or empathy from both the veterinarian and the technician. I advised that this would the last time that my babies would be coming here and he basically shrugged his shoulders and could have cared less. In conclusion, the front desk girl, Cammy has always been nothing short of amazing for all the years that we have gone to this facility. She is super sweet, caring and accommodating. We are truly going to miss her level of customer service and attention to detail. As I told her after paying my 530.00 bill, we will truly miss her. I am forming a complaint with the state board and will update this review after I hear from them. Today's level of service was highly unacceptable!
