Pearson came on very short notice, on a Sunday-- which, I believe, saved our dog from a lot of suffering.

Visited this location for the very first time upon finding positive reviews on Google and Yelp. The…read moreoffice is a bit older on the outside and inside but very beautifully designed. Everyone seemed very friendly including the staff and the veterinarian. We came here since Sera my dog was struggling with walking specially on her back legs and experiencing some weakness. The doctor explained the process in detail to us and different options of therapy that can be provided such as laser therapy and water therapy. I really appreciated all the info, the kindness of the office staff, and really hoping the therapy will improve my dog's condition.

I found a very sick kitten last summer. And then I found her brother. He was doing pretty well, but…read moreshe never was thriving. She struggled to gain weight and keep food down. After trying a couple vets in Dallas, the urgent care vet referred me to Atlas for specialty support. We were there a lot and while we made progress, her bloodwork was still not great. And then her brother randomly got fluid in his belly. They were great about seeing me ASAP the week before a holiday and diagnosed him with FIP. They worked to get him medication that day from a local pharmacy on a weekend too. Unfortunately, FIP is still very fatal and he passed away a few days later. They were so kind when I told them. After his sister kept throwing up, we decided to treat her for FIP too. And she ended up doing so well! FIP only got an approved treatment last year, so many vets are not experienced with it. But Dr. (Daniel) Anthony was good about checking her progress and working with me on the most cost effective way to handle the many vet visits and lab work. I'm happy to share that she's officially cleared FIP treatment and observation protocol and she finally had normal bloodwork last month. She is super playful and loved to torment her big cat brother. We held off on her vaccines and spay because of everything, but she will be going to them next month for this too. I never have to wait long once I arrive and the front desk is always friendly. I'm not sure I'll be able to keep going for her regular visits since I live in South Dallas and the trek to Frisco is a lot, but their Saturday hours are a savior and if I lived closer, I'd stay a client forever.

Not a good experience. I went close to closing and the Vet clearly didn't want to stay late. She…read morewas very rude & made comments that were unnecessary and sent us somewhere else. We were immediately taken back to a room where they asked the standard questions and Dr. Kline promptly came in. The reason for our visit was to get our foster dog help for his prior tail injury that was bleeding and infected. We explained our situation to them and were quoted an initial price of between $200 to almost $500 if he needed meds to calm down. We asked them to do their best to forgo the calming meds since he was a foster dog after all and we were paying out of our own pocket. They were able to get him taken care of without the calming meds and the final price came out to lower than the lower end quote, which we greatly appreciated. Dr. Kline was amazing and took her time answering all our questions and made suggestions on a better cone for him. She even wrote a script to keep him calm if he panicked in the cone. I greatly appreciated that she allowed us to get it filled elsewhere since it's a medication humans can take as well and it's much cheaper at grocery stores. They were prompt, courteous, and most importantly, helped our foster dog actually be able to lay down to get some rest. We wouldn't hesitate to come here again if needed!

Unfortunately, our experience at the new facility last night was completely different. We brought our 5-month-old Doberman to the emergency clinic around 10:00 PM after he suddenly showed weakness in his back legs. I carried him in. Despite this, about 20 minutes later staff walked him back to me in the waiting room and asked me to remove his ear post because the doctor said she was uncomfortable doing it herself. After another 30 minutes, the doctor entered and asked the exact same questions we had already answered twice. When I pointed that out, her demeanor noticeably changed. She immediately began discussing genetic conditions, CT scans, MRIs, and surgery--without first performing or even proposing basic diagnostics such as an X-ray. When I asked whether an X-ray had been done, she responded sharply that she hadn't obtained my approval, despite never mentioning or quoting one. At that point, I declined further services and carried our puppy out. Thankfully, he is fine today. We followed up with our regular veterinarian of nearly 20 years, who agreed that monitoring for additional symptoms was the appropriate next step. I fully understand concerns around backyard breeding and puppy mills. However, we purchased our dog from a well-established, reputable breeder, and the judgment we experienced for owning a cropped-ear Doberman was unprofessional and unwarranted--especially during an emergency visit. Based on this experience, I would recommend considering other local emergency clinics. In fact, we stopped by a newly opened ER in Prosper on our way home and were treated far more appropriately.
