I just wanted to say thank you to this amazing staff! Even though our dog didn't make it (to NO FAULT of the ER) they showed us and him the utmost respect, kindness and patience that I have seen in a long time. We often complain about customer service and how it's is gone out the window especially since COVID. Well not here! They were kind. They explained all the different option we could have taken, never once rushed us and didn't. At one point I accidentally hung the phone up prior to me being my puppy Roscoe in, and the Vet (yes I said the actual Vet) called me back. I will forever be grateful and highly recommend this ER.

Unfortunately, our experience at the new facility last night was completely different. We brought our 5-month-old Doberman to the emergency clinic around 10:00 PM after he suddenly showed weakness in his back legs. I carried him in. Despite this, about 20 minutes later staff walked him back to me in the waiting room and asked me to remove his ear post because the doctor said she was uncomfortable doing it herself. After another 30 minutes, the doctor entered and asked the exact same questions we had already answered twice. When I pointed that out, her demeanor noticeably changed. She immediately began discussing genetic conditions, CT scans, MRIs, and surgery--without first performing or even proposing basic diagnostics such as an X-ray. When I asked whether an X-ray had been done, she responded sharply that she hadn't obtained my approval, despite never mentioning or quoting one. At that point, I declined further services and carried our puppy out. Thankfully, he is fine today. We followed up with our regular veterinarian of nearly 20 years, who agreed that monitoring for additional symptoms was the appropriate next step. I fully understand concerns around backyard breeding and puppy mills. However, we purchased our dog from a well-established, reputable breeder, and the judgment we experienced for owning a cropped-ear Doberman was unprofessional and unwarranted--especially during an emergency visit. Based on this experience, I would recommend considering other local emergency clinics. In fact, we stopped by a newly opened ER in Prosper on our way home and were treated far more appropriately.

Stay away! This vet is focused more on volume and speed than caring for their patients…read more Brought our dog for a euthanasia which was already very difficult. We requested an intra-muscular injection before the procedure but that was not their practice. What they did offer were several overpriced packages for euthanizing! They began by taking way too long to place our dog's IV which they ultimately failed at however they still tried to push the propofol anyway. Since the IV wasn't done right, our dog began writhing in pain, yelping and licking her leg where her IV was. The vet tried to assure us that propofol doesn't burn! What medical professional says that about propofol?? THEN after several minutes our dog was still awake because the IV wasn't placed correctly. BUT the vet began trying to push the final (lethal) meds to put our dog to sleep while she was still fully awake! When we asked him to wait until she was asleep he got upset and said, "let us do our job!" He then tried to blame their bad IV on us! For moving our dog around. We were not moving her around. Anyway we took our dog home and got a full refund. Had he pushed the "final medication" like he tried our dog would have suffered a slow, painful death due to the meds being absorbed sub-q (aka not in the IV)! Finally I'd like to say that the staff there is wonderful. They are kind, compassionate and helpful. I would not trust the vet though

The entire team is incredibly engaging, compassionate, and responsive. They take the time to answer questions, explain treatments, and genuinely make you feel like your pet is their top priority. During emergency situations, they acted quickly and kept us informed every step of the way, which brought so much comfort during stressful moments. Their grooming services are also fantastic -- our pets always come home looking and feeling great. It's rare to find a veterinary clinic that combines excellent medical care with such warm, personal service, but this team truly does it all. After five years of trusting them with our pets (we have 4 who see Dr. Tabor), I can confidently say they provide outstanding care and exceptional customer service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a veterinary team that truly goes above and beyond!

I called in December 2024 because I was visiting family and had forgotten my dog's prescription for incontinence "proin" and was worried about it. The staff was totally unhelpful and stated they would need to do a full annual exam for it. I told staff they can call her current vet to discuss the diagnosis of incontinence and see her full up to date vet records. The unhelpful lady stated this was against TX law. This is a lie as the law is "For Schedule II controlled substances, a written prescription must be issued on an official Texas prescription form or through an electronic prescription that meets all requirements." Proin is not a controlled substance, and staff was unhelpful and rude to simply get another annual visit in. I don't think most people lie about their dog's veterinary diagnosis. But I had up to date records to confirm that. There is no reason they could not have responded reasonably with an uncontrolled substance for a week. Staff/Owners, you're in a state where dog populations, abuse, and euthanasia rates are some of the worst in the country. Do better. The great news is, I skipped my dog's prion for a week and learned her current vet had diagnosed wrong and she's not incontinent and never took the pills again.

When I received Grizzly post tidy up he was shaking, still wet, and digging his claws into me. Once home I had to blow dry him myself only to discover he had 2 cuts. One inside of his ear and another on his inner leg. I expected a tidy trim but he had been completely shaved from belly button down and his entire tail hair had been cut off into a stub instead of trimmed. The groomer nor front desk associate mentioned anything and when I called to speak with management, I was told they would call back. It's now been 2 days with no returned call or concern for their negligence. $170 later and my dog has an uneven and unattractive underbelly and backside, shorter ear fluff (when we never asked for this to be cut) and trauma from being nicked in the process. For the price you can go somewhere that will actually care for your fur baby and communicate when things don't go as planned.

But after we got home, we noticed two patches on Murphy's back, which was concerning. What bothered us most was that no one mentioned it to us at pickup.
