The kitchen has all the dishes, pots and utensils you need as well as some great breakfast treats. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and very comfortable. The great room has cozy spots to sit and chat as well as a huge TV for movies. The grounds, pool, hot tub and patio area are great places to hang out with a glass of wine and some appetizers. Everything is neat as a pin and perfectly decorated. Kimberly is always available to walk you through setting your music up to the house speakers or remind you of your gate code. We stopped by Beerburg Brewing on a recent Sunday afternoon on a holiday weekend.  This place is…read moreone of the "trail stops" on the Dripping Springs "Dripping with Taste Trail."  The place is nice, inside and out, life music, playing on Sunday afternoon, sounded very good. Because of the holiday, the place wasn't that crowded.  Lots of folks going in and out of doors, so there were quite a few flies inside. We were seated immediately and given our card to post when we were ready to order. As noted in other yelp reviews, there wasn't a real clear explanation given about the posting of the "we're ready to order card," but we figured out that it goes in the small metal holder on top of the paper towel stand on the table.  Cudos for the perforated paper towels, we've been to other similar restaurants where the paper towels are not perforated, making it very difficult to tear off a sheet or two. We stopped two different servers to ask questions about several items on the menu before we ordered, both were generally unaware of how food was being prepared and put together in the kitchen.  What is sofrito rice?  "Uh, it's red rice, I don't know what's in it."  What are myacoba refried beans?  "Uh, beans that are mashed up."  You get the picture... Ultimately, we were able to order food and a flight of beers.  We ordered the brisket tacos and the flauta basket (electing to have 4 of the chicken flautas).  The food was excellent, ingredients very fresh, flavor profiles well developed, a little bit of heat in everything.  The brisket tacos were probably some of the best we've ever had!  The flautas were just downright decadent.  Rolled tortillas, deep fried, topped with charred jalapeno avocado salsa, pico de gallo, crema and cotija cheese.  Delicious! For our beer flight, we sampled each of the wild craft beers (ingredients foraged from the property and put in the beer) and the red pale ale.  I must say the wild craft beers were different, we liked the nope ale the best, it was almost like a rose wine.  The red pale ale was very good. Bottom Line:  service, average;  food, excellent;  beer, just OK.  We did not have a "gotta go back there" experience at Beerburg Brewing.

We were able to enjoy drinking coffee in the quiet mornings and gathering around the firepit at night, where we really got to know the bride's family. Everyone had a wonderful time, and the property gave both families a chance to slow down, relax and genuinely connect. The Creek Haus is a beautiful and unique wedding venue just outside of Dripping Springs. I think it's perfect for couples who want their wedding to feel like a reunion meets wedding weekend shared between their families.

The crust was light and airy and the pepperoni had flavor. The pickle pizza was delicious. I've never had anything like it. The pizza crust was light and the pizza was flavorful. On a side note the bathroom that I experienced was in an airstream trailer and they were clean. They had other bathrooms onsite but I didn't see them. The place itself can be hard to find, given that it is in the middle of nowhere and the signs are easy to miss. There is a decent parking lot for about 25ish cars in the front and more parking in the back which is a plus. The walkway is full cobbles so can be hard to walk on in heels. The indoor venue is warmly lit and has very Texan barn kind of vibes. It was good for a wedding but I am not sure what else does it have to offer apart from that.
