Nowhere before had they said anything about 2 hours or extra charges. I had no option because it was the last day of my lease. Finally I was charged ~320 which was worse than letting the apartment keep my deposit. The actual cleaning didn't Matter because I was threatened by the rude lady and my entire day wasted waiting for the cleaners. Use this company at your own risk. Ms rude lady on the phone needs to understand that you need to use basic courtesy while talking to customers. Edit - I called 2 times on the day before just to confirm the exact time and date of the appointment. I even got automated text message with scheduled date and time. In today's day and age, these scam businesses just manage online reviews to get innocent vulnerable customers.

Shelves weren't dusted, they did not move anything around on the ground when they were sweeping, mopping or vacuuming, left behind a lot of debris. Keep in mind, I had already gone through the house and pre cleaned myself, baseboards and all. I was looking for somebody to come in and finish up the fine details because I would be short on time. Specifically asked them to vacuum the couches and when I booked the service they said absolutely, not a problem. After they left it was clear they had not touched them at all. I was on site during the first half of the cleaning but had to leave for the second half, and they assured me that they would finish the job well and that it would be fine. Having used other cleaning services in the past, I did not feel uncomfortable leaving the house while they were still here but what a mistake! I had to have them come back and finish the job because I got back 20 minutes before they were supposed to be finished, and they were already gone yet charge me full price! I looked around and realized all of the spots they had missed, including the couches. The service sent the cleaning crew back, but I was out of the residence again. I had left my good vacuum cleaner out since I had been using it a few days prior and after they left I realized they they must have used my vacuum because the release button was now broken. Having just used it a couple of days before, I knew that it was working fine until this cleaning crew had come out. They did not clean the tops of the tables, there were little cobwebs and dust up on ceiling vents that I had assumed they would vacuum as well or clean out. Even the mopping they did in the kitchen was atrocious. There was still food on the floor under the table from breakfast! Absolutely would not recommend this company whatsoever, I am appalled at how horrible this was. What a waste of money! I've tried other cleaning services in the past but wanted to try to go with a smaller local business, won't use them ever again. Back to the tried-and-true services that are further out!

They quote you for "one man hour" (which is of no value) but don't give you ANY indication as to how many hours the job will take -- and therefore, no idea as to how much they will charge you -- until the job is done and your credit card is charged. Simply a HORRIBLE and extremely unclear way to do business. The total job cost me $266, to clean ONE floor of my house. IF I had known it would cost that much, I never would have hired this company. But I did NOT know it would cost that much until they charged my credit card. When I complained to the Better Business Bureau, the owner's daughter posted a nasty note on the FB page of my wife's employer. Seriously. The most pathetic and unprofessional thing I have ever seen a company do in response to a legitimate complaint. Stay away from this horrible company. Of note, I have since hired The Cleaning Authority. Their quote process is transparent (unlike House Calls), the cleaning job was just as good, and it was HALF the price.

In the quote process you must indicate the number of beds and baths in the home. We have 3 beds and 1.5 baths. 1. Only one ceiling fan was cleaned (we have 5 total). 2. None of the bedrooms or bathrooms were mopped. 3. The half bath was not touched. 4. The shower/tub in the main bath was not touched. 5. Only 1 bedroom was dusted. 6. No grout was cleaned. 7. No walls/doors were cleaned. 8. Only baseboards in the kitchen were touched. 9. Nothing was moved, just wiped around. 10. 1 window was cleaned, and 0 mirrors were touched. There were 2 cleaners, and this took them almost 4 hours. I am very disappointed to say the least. We have never trusted anyone to clean our home and I just feel taken advantage of at this point. I was not able to be home until they were leaving because I had to have my husband at the wound clinic. I scheduled the appointment because I needed it done, and my dad was here during the time. Now I am out $200+ and I still have to take the time to clean. I really was hoping to be able to leave a great review and use their services on at least a monthly basis moving forward.

Each time the cleaners com, there is at least 1 item they forget to do. This week, they did not…read moreclean the glass table tops for the end tables in any of the rooms. When dusting, they often forget to do the banisters going up/down the stairs as well as the tops of the picture frames. This week, they dusted between the rails on the banister, but not along the sides so there is a striped pattern of dust. The other issue is the materials used to clean (not a fault of the cleaners). After about 5 days, the toilets start showing black lines down the inside of the bowl. Most likely, the cleaner does not contain bleach. Therefore, we had them use our own cleaner this week to ensure they are sanitized. For dusting, we see a buildup in about 10 days. Again, our guess is that no furniture polish (Pledge) is used so the dust comes right back. If these things can be improved, the service would be excellent. Thank you. Kris Peresta
