I love the physicians at Westchester Pediatrics…read more My child has had some fairly serious illnesses and also some learning issues and I feel he has gotten great care and I've gotten great advice at Westchester Pediatrics. They see the child as a whole person and not just a cough or a rash. I have often had to wait (ex a 2pm appointment can often turn into a 3pm appointment or once for me, even turned into a 4pm appointment when a child with an urgent issue came in). If you hate to wait (or have a tight schedule), it might be frustrating. When my child is sick or has an issue - I don't want to feel like I have to go home and look things up on the internet to confirm the pediatrician gave me all the options and was up on the most current guidelines, research etc. I trust Westchester Pediatrics to tell me what I need to know and that's it. For an anxious mom who is a compulsive looker up of things, that's huge. I trust the care - no need to look anything up.

I saw Dr Gazzola for 2 1/2 months from the time my daughter was born. She got her first cold around…read morethe time she was 2 1/2 months, as a first time parent I wanted her to be seen. Upon calling the office, I was told she was too busy to see her. I got in my car and went to the office anyway to find the Dr had left for the day and was in fact not busy at all. I then filled out the necessary paperwork to have my daughters medical records transferred to another doctor. It has now been two weeks and they still have not received the paperwork. No doctors will see children without records confirming immunizations. She is completely negligent and entirely rude. Also at my last visit I told the dr I thought my daughter had cradle cap. After making me feel stupid about it she told me i wrong and it was sebboriac dermatitis. I googled it st home to find that it is the medical term for cradle cap. I highly recommend finding a different pediatrician.

At the moment we did not have one but fortunately we met Dr.Ornstein of this practice. We have been to the facility on 4 different occasions and everyone has been very friendly and beyond helpful. - Not sure what the prior reviews are referring to but personally we have not experienced anything but great etiquette and service from the moment we walked in to our goodbyes as we exited- The facility - A+ it seems it is new and in a different easily accessible location - Colors are vibrant and they have included a separate sick area to help passing of the possible germs. Super clean and sterile. Fish tanks are an added plus that I can imagine be a great distraction as our child gets older. - Also you know a place is clean when there are no finger prints or smudges on the fish tank can you imagine how many children are pointing at Nemo! Front of house Team - A From past 4 visit team always have been busy, phone ringing, patients entering and exiting have always been friendly and attentive to my family's needs Nurse- A 2 Nurses that we had the chance to encounter were great and were both friendly and helpful. One was a nurse that has been with the practice from the very beginning many moons ago and her level of care was "old school kindness" Our second nurse was a young, energetic and friendly. Both nurses demonstrated the ability to reassure my wife and I we were doing all the right things. Dr.Ornstein - A++ the Dr. is exceptional we had fortunately met at the hospital and after researching her background she passed her interview with us. Her bedside manners are exceptional and she is very genuine in her approach. We were having a few early baby difficulties and she was able to address them quickly and effectively. The Dr. has been very patient answering all the questions we had (there was many I want to admit to). I would highly recommend Dr.Ornstein and it is nice to know that our child will be well taking care of by a doctor that saw her from birth. If you are looking for a pediatrician service for your child I would give them a try based on my experience I would not go anywhere else if I had saw the previous reviews prior to scheduling and meeting Dr.Ornstein I would of perhaps reconsidered but we are so happy we had that chance opportunity to meet the dr and based on that experience she passed her interview and the practice has a new patient.

You are in the best hands possible at Valley Pediatrics…read more Drs. Juan, Rasheed, and Jones are phenomenal practitioners and caring people. The nurses and administrative staff are fabulous and keep that small office/individual personal attention feel for the patients. The care used when selecting medical and administrative staff is superb. I was a patient in the practice Dr. Juan joined when he came to Greenwich. When he opened Valley Pediatrics of Greenwich, we followed him for my son, now 15yo. As a healthcare provider myself, so long as the child is conscious, breathing and not bleeding, I can handle pretty much anything. My husband, not so much, yet we are both ALWAYS at ease and feel confident that our child is getting the best care possible. We have had a few scares, most recently a serious snowboarding accident which rattled even me when my son, on the drive home, started making comments without a lick of sense and exhibiting possible trauma to his brain. With a rapid return call from Dr. Rasheed, a rough assessment of the situation and discussion of options for care; we set a plan in motion. A year later we have happy and almost completely recovered 15yo. Despite the cognitive effects and noise concerns affiliated with a severe concussion, he not only joined the HS Marching Band but changed instruments with little difficulty and traveled with the band to perform in the Citrus and Disney New Years Parade. All of this would not have been possible without the care, guidance and support of the entire team at Valley Pediatrics.

We've had plenty of first time parent concerns and he's tackled them all super timely and with a way of explaining things that calms us and gives us more confidence every time. And we were amazed with Katie, the Lactation Consultant. she has decades of experience, she CHANGED our world!! we brought in our 5 day old baby and she completely turned me around with her knowledge base. I brought him in with me and nursed him with her help so that she could observe. She reframed so much of what the hospital told me generically and tailored it to me and our son based on how and what she saw. and she was spot on! he was happier, less frustrated and trusted me to read his cues correctly and get what he needed. it was an instant fix, I can't get enough of her!! She makes herself available by phone too if tou can't make it to her in person. She and Dr. Stephen are in this with you every step, honestly we couldn't have asked for more caring human beings to help guide us.

I compare every doctor to Dr Screnci and not one has lived up to her skill set. She is the most intelligent person I have ever met in my life. I truly trust her with my life. I would still go to her if I could. She was good with me through the years where I had a fear of going to a doctor and still continued to be into my teenage years where my questions were endless. I owe getting over my fear of doctors to her and the staff. She truly got it right every time I never doubted her expertise. Every doctor appointment I have been to since I have left with frustration and confusion. She always has such patience even after working all day and seeing a boatload of patients, she still took the time to answer my questions that were insignificant to other patients. When I was younger I used to say that she should be president :). She definitely has all the strong qualities to do so in my eyes. I also have loved every other doctor she has brought on to the practice. It amazes me, its as if she finds the most qualified doctors out there or maybe they find her. I hope that when I have children one day that I can either take them to someone who is at least half the person Dr Screnci was for me, I know it will be hard to find, I have been searching for years.

The facility itself was clean, and both the nurse and doctor were kind, friendly, and reassuring during the visit, which made a stressful situation a bit easier. That said, the front desk experience could definitely be improved. No one was present when we first arrived, and when a staff member (I believe her name was Carol or Karen) finally came out, her greeting--"Are you a walk-in or an appointment?"--came across as abrupt and not very welcoming. Overall, the medical care was good, but the initial interaction at the front desk left a negative first impression. Will I come back probably not. Free Parking is available in the lot.
