Initially gave this visit a one stat base on the following experience described in the second paragraph. Changed it to a 4 star after PM Pediatrics made a timely and sincere effort to address my concerns. They outreached twice in less than 24 hours. That deserves some credit and a second chance. I believe that it is incumbent upon those of us who rate these entities to allow them an opportunity to get better. Hence that is why I amended my initial feedback. I am happy that Yelp allows for this feature. Have come here before and the quality of care has been quite good. Things were very different this time. Person checking us in was very unprofessional. For example, she carried out a conversation with another employee while checking my son in. At one point she asked, "did you eat already?" We thought she was asking my son and part of the intake process. She was actually asking her co-worker. At the time of this review, we have been waiting for over 35 minutes in the exam room. This visit was very disappointing. Will not be coming here again. Go to West med instead. read more

I brought my son here for a minor head injury and was able to get a same-day appointment, which I appreciated. However, even after arriving 10 minutes early, we still had to wait, and there were already about five children in the waiting area ahead of us. The facility itself was clean, and both the nurse and doctor were kind, friendly, and reassuring during the visit, which made a stressful situation a bit easier. That said, the front desk experience could definitely be improved. No one was present when we first arrived, and when a staff member (I believe her name was Carol or Karen) finally came out, her greeting--"Are you a walk-in or an appointment?"--came across as abrupt and not very welcoming. Overall, the medical care was good, but the initial interaction at the front desk left a negative first impression. Will I come back probably not. Free Parking is available in the lot. read more

So I have a previous review on here of the horrible service at this place gives. My daughter was not feeling good again she's three years old. I was afraid she might have an ear infection brought her to PM pediatrics was told she has a really bad ear infection and that there's pus in her ear so I went and got her antibiotics. She was refusing to take the antibiotics so we called her regular doctor for her regular doctor. Check her to see what can be done. Turns out she has no ear infection. The doctor told me PM pediatrics is known for doing things like this. My recommendation stay far far far away from them. read more

My expectation from an Urgent Care Center is that you will receive prompt, efficient service by qualified professionals. PM Pediatrics totally missed the mark this evening. The location was not able to provide intake paperwork, was short-staffed, and the staff who were present did not have any urgency to move patients through their visits or any desire to provide decent customer service. After making a 7:45 appointment, we waited 115 minutes to receive a simple x-ray. I will never visit this office again. read more

Got in at 10pm on a Sunday. Nobody in the waiting room, girl with a terrible bed side manner comes in to take my daughters blood pressure ...TWICE...she said first machine did t work....leaves saying the doctor will be in, Then another VERY SWEET girl comes in and tried to take her vitals but we told her we had seen someone already and she nicely said, "oh the vitals weren't registered. No problem" Fifty (50) minutes later, I had to open the door and stand in the hall and watch the staff sit around talking and the doctor say, "oh she's dizzy, did you get her blood pressure?" To which the girl answer, I tried twice but the machines weren't working!" Then INSTEAD of the Dr coming in to look at her or talk to us, she tried to send ANOTHER girl in to get her BP! Absolutely NOT! We left! Called the place and got an attitude from the girl at the front desk who wasn't even back there! Give me a break! I use to love this place, that have gone WAY down in service! Just like everywhere else, a bunch of young girls who could care less about service...just looking for the check! Shameful! read more

Dr. Argots was incredible. Really and truly. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes for a check of my son's nose to ensure it wasn't broken. She was a gem. Looked her up real quick to make sure I had the spelling of her name right for the review and saw she's a JD in addition to a DO. So, basically, she's a superhero. Came in for a Covid test for my 4 year old, despite having insurance they charged $100 then said to my wife we should test you too, guess what another $100 without even mentioning she would be considered a second patient and have to pay double! $200 later it took 6 months for insurance to reimburse the PM Pediatrics charges even though the presidential administration said FDA approved Covid testing would be 100% covered by insurance. Tonight, we came to pm pediatrics because my son had an ear infection. We signed, and there were supposed to be 3 patiens ahead of us. After 30 minutes, my son was crying in pain. I approached the attendant at the front desk and asked her if the wait was too long or if there was something we could do because my son was really in pain. She was eating and told me there were 3 people ahead of me and that I had to wait. 30 minutes later, my wait list said 0 patients ahead of me, but she was still calling other patients. Meanwhile, my son was crying in pain in front of her face. So I approached again and told her that my waitlist said 0 and how come I wasn't called? She raised her voice and told me that I was the next walking patient, that was a priority for people who signed earlier. I didn't make a drama because there were children in the room. I understand, I had to wait for my turn, but she was very rude and careless for my 9 year old crying of pain in the office. She did not care enough to offer support or help. Very disappointing service. On the bright side the doctor's are nice abd try to help as quick as possible. The place seems not to be ready for a rush. read more

I had a very pleasant visit here. The staff was very nice to me and my kids and very thorough. Many of these comments are geared towards the wait times and staffs. A lot of people forget that these people are extremely understaffed and probably tired - i know i would be working through a ridiculous pandemic and this crazy flu/rsv season. Wait times are inevitable. You come to have your sick child evaluated- your child is just one out of HUNDREDS of kids that these workers see in one day. There are a lot of us parents/sick children and very few of them. I witnessed the front desk receptionist be yelled at multiple times by angry parents over something out of their control, they cannot control wait times- we do when we bring our sick children in! I can only imagine how many times a day they go through that in a single day. read more

Terrible! Website states they open at 10am on a Sunday. No sign on door. Drive and got there at 9:30 with a sick 11 month old who can't stop pooping. Had to get there 30 mins before because no appointments available. It's a sick baby. Guess what? At 10:05 they say they are not opening till 12.... Just because. Not because something is broke, not because of an electrical outage. How can this be real??? I drove out of my way because they were supposed to open at 10. I don't get it. They didn't even offer me to come back at 12 and be put first on line. They serve sick kids and this is how they treat sick kids and parents dealing with sick children. Zero do not recommend. If I could rate this place a ZERO I would. Let me start by saying my husband brought my daughter in a few days ago he waited 1 1/2 hour and wasn't seen so he walked out. I made an appointment for both of my daughters to be seen today 6:12 and 6:24 they both have horrible coughs. I arrived early and checked in. I was told they were running a little behind because they only had 1 provider and was waiting for another to come in. The waiting room was packed. I patiently waited until 6:40 and approached the front desk again and was told that walk ins would be seen before people with appointments! I made the appointment online on Sunday for a Monday appointment. I don't understand how that even makes any sense. When my husband was a walk in a few days prior with my daughter they were taking people with appointments first. Nobody there can get there story straight. Waited quite a while nurse came in for vitals and then waited and waited for the Dr to come in. He didn't seem much like he cares. Basically listened to my daughter's chest and said there's really nothing we can do for her. So I leave with my daughter having this horrible cough and not knowing what's going on. Guess I'll be going to her pediatrician or emergency room. Seems like a shit show in there and will NOT be going back. read more

PM Pediatrics feels like 'fast food' kid care. No matter what time you stop by, you're going to get reliable treatment and be in and out in a flash. So far, we've popped in twice when our kid got sick. Both times the staff here was nothing short of excellent. PM Pediatrics is awesome! They are there whenever my kids are in need of medical services and can't see their pediatrician. I was in there last Sunday with my Son. I made a reservation online and totally understand that they will be a wait on a Sunday afternoon. However that big screen in the waiting would be great if the wait time was accurate. I get it's a guesstimate but from the moment I checked in it said I had a 0-15min wait... 45-50 mins later we're called into the exam room. It's not just a little off but a lot. This place should be shut down. Sarah should have her license revoked. I went in tonight after a serious fall. I was visibly in pain with mascara running down my face. It was late at night and they were one of the only places in the county open. I double checked their website to make sure my age was accepted. Easy enough. When I get there there, the receptionist, Esteban, was immediately hostile and completely unsympathetic to the extreme pain I was obviously in. (Don't quit that day job Esteban). He said since I am 26 I will not be able to see a doctor. I said what??? Your website says "we see and treat children and young adults from 0-26 years of age". I asked him if he could show me on his end, perhaps I read something wrong. He replied no (So helpful Esteban). I then showed him my phone where it states the above sentence. He said oh it's really 25 and 364 days. I asked him how is a patient supposed to know this information? He replies "I'm sorry you fell and you're in pain but don't take it out on me" (PM Pediatrics - you guys got a true professional with Esteban). He proceeds to "get his manager". He hands me a phone, to which some woman repeats the same exact information. I ask if I'm being denied medical assistance or if I can be helped as a true doctor would do. The next woman, Sarah, then came out. Repeats the same information, but then states how there's colleges and universities in the area which is why it's up to age 25 (Sarah - your website says 26. Get a clue. Patients aren't mind readers and we believe what's on the website). I interrupted her for a fact check - there's NOT ONE college or university in a 5 mile radius. Her attitude came out then so I decided to take my business elsewhere as these "doctors" were obviously not going to help a patient. Sarah proceeded to scream at me "IM A DOCTOR" as I was leaving. Sarah - if you are in fact a doctor, it's time for a new profession. Doctors are supposed to help and heal, not put patients down in a time of need. PM Pediatrics - false advertising is illegal. Denying medical assistance is illegal. Edit: I forgot to mention there was a very friendly and helpful nurse present. I unfortunately did not catch her name, but she was very professional which can be hard to do with her unprofessional colleagues. read more

This pediatric urgent care is nothing short of fabulous. Check in was 2 mins in duration because my daughter had previously visited the Bayside location, which was equally fabulous. Called in 5 mins later. Nurse was incredibly friendly and was done in 5 mins. Dr Blaire (I think) was in 5 mins later for an incredibly thorough exam. Expand to more locations. And open them in the Raleigh/Cary/Apex NC area too (where we're from). :) read more

This place is great I have brought my Kids here several times over the years very conveniently open when your doctor is not. My first experience with them was when my Daughter was just 10 months old she cut the bottom of her foot pretty bad and we went to a regular urgent care that determined that she needed sitches and that the doctor there didn't have experience with sitches on such a small child they recommended pm pediatrics they were great they glued her little foot back together and she was like new within 10 ten days. If your kid gets hurt or is sick and you need to see a pediatric Doctor and you don't want to take you kid to the ER and risk them getting something else or seeing an adult Doctor that is not used to kids this is the right place. read more

This is the worst urgent care for kids. I get there are a lot of things going on in the world but I had waited with my 3 year old son from 8-11:30. He was not feeling well and the doctor didn't see anything wrong. The doctor was nice and willing to hear my concerns. But he wanted to do a Covid test and check his blood level. So we proceeded and my son was such a trooper. I was toldI would get results 2-3 Days. Come to the end of the week I didnt get the results. Instead I got a phone call to call back. In Talking with them they said that the Covid test was not processed due to the label on the test. So they said my son can come back and not wait on line to redo a test. Unbelieve!! If this is has happened to you, I just thought what a waste of time. My son is feeling better and now we are off to see his real pediatrician instead. I will never go back there again! read more

PM Pediatrics is an AWESOME alternative when your regular doctor is closed and you don't want to bring your kids to sit endless hours in an ER with your fingers crossed hoping not to contract anything else. PM Pediatrics was recommended to us by my neighbors who had brought their daughter when she dislocated her shoulder one night. A couple of months ago, my 9 year son complained about trouble breathing. It was allergy season and pollen count was off the charts. I thought he meant that he had a stuffy nose so I gave him Zyrtec and later Benadryl. As the day progressed and his breathing worsened, I took him to PM Pediatrics around 9 PM. Although the nurse was very RUDE to me and JUDGMENTAL saying that I should've brought him in hours ago, my son received good care. The doctor was very nice and patient and took time to answer all of my questions. They put my son on an aspirator, monitored his O2 level and pulse and kept checking on him. They gave him snack and juice in between treatments in case the medicine made him nauseous. We were released 2 hours later when they were comfortable that his airway was sufficiently opened up. To make sure that he doesn't relapse in the middle of the night, they called in a prescription to a 24 hour CVS and gave me an aspirator for home use that was completely covered by my insurance. We followed up with our primary care pediatrician the next day and our allergist 2 weeks later. read more

Great urgent care facility, unfortunately we have been here too many times with our children. The majority of the time the wait times are minimal, the services provided are quick and to the point...overall they provide excellent care when your child urgently needs it, which is why we choose to come here when our main pediatrician's office is closed. read more

Looked out in the hall to ask where my daughter's strep test was at the end of our visit and saw the staff eating on a counter - gross!!! Doctors must get hired here right out of med school. First time going to PM pediatrics after getting a call from my daughter's daycare stating she had a high fever at 430pm. I work in a medical facility and despise their urgent care i much rather go to the ER, so I came across PM pediatrics and I am so happy I found them! Very fast service. As soon as I sat down I was called into the back. The nurse did an excellent job with my sassy baby girl. And the Dr. gave me a diagnosis and was very playful with my daughter which helped ease her tension.. They gave me antibiotics on the spot.. Info to take home and electronically sent the prescription to the pharmacy. One stop shop if they had a pharmacy on the premises!!
