My child does not do well with doctor visits and she needs and deserves the time and patience in getting exams done. Nurses have not shown respect or understanding as I work with and communicate with my child. The exam rooms are garish, each assigned a color and decked out top to bottom in the bold hue. Not at all a relaxing atmosphere. We saw Dr Baskind initially and he was thorough, personable, and a fun person to sit with for your visit; we saw Nurse Mary Ellen who was informative and got me on the right track with breastfeeding, I'd go so far as to say guaranteeing our success; we saw Dr Ellen Sandoval who was gentle and kind, a real gem at this practice... They have all been great and I hate to part with them but I simply will not take my child here any longer. We will be going somewhere that meets the patient with patience.

Over the course of several decades; I visited dozens of people, in almost as many Hospitals. So I can confidently write this review based on actual experience and not emotion. From the moment you arrive on the property you'll notice it's well laid out in a logical and convenient manner for visitors, usually family, who are already stressed. There's plenty of free parking near the several entrances. The Security Dept personnel are extremely courteous, professional, and reassuring; explaining procedures and giving directions to the various locations, in a very pleasant manner. The staff at the Nurse's Station acknowledge you when you arrive. Unlike many places, where you could stand there indefinitely while they stare at their computer monitors; without the slightest inkling of proper guest relations. IF, it was the other way around I'm certain these same people would be raging "Karen's"! The food service Dept. delivers meals that are on par with a four star hotel restaurant . There are actual ceramic dishes, no plastic plates or styrofoam glasses, knives and forks like a real restaurant, again no plastic sporks. The tray is artistically set, as opposed to haphazardly arranged. They realize that when you are in the hospital, there's not much else to do; so food is one of those things you can actually look forward to and enjoy. So, after a few visits; I can say everyone I've encountered has been exceptionally professional, helpful, and courteous. It's reflected in the quality of care they provide in every aspect of the Hospital's operation.

In conversations before the bris, I knew that my friend was nervous about the process, the ceremony, and the actual circumcision. I can say with confidence that Dr. Rumbak put the family's mind at ease both with her expertise and her gentle approach. As a "spectator" at the ceremony, Dr. Rumbak passed around sheets so we can all follow along and feel part of the ceremony, and explained what different blessings meant. She also added some Jewish text in a modern and relevant way, which I appreciated, and my family continued to discuss post ceremony. The sweet baby did super well and was calm throughout the entire process. Truthfully, I didn't even know when the actual circumcision actually happened because she was so gentle and discrete. At the end of the ceremony, many people went up to Dr. Rumbak to compliment her on one of the best brit mila's they ever went to, and many asked for her card (including my mom for our temple!). She has a great business partner in Shachar, who socialized with the guests of the ceremony, kept everything organized, and was just an all around stand up guy.
