Most companies went by pounds, which was difficult because we didn't have a scale, and would charge around $100 base price and go up in increments of $50 based on weight. This seemed a little expensive and many of the companies were chains. Then we found Shred-All. Shred-All is a local Orlando company. We found them easy to reach--no weird phone dialing options--and communicative. They gave us a day and a time estimate and were right on time to shred our items on site. Best of all? They were easy to price. They asked if my items would fit in a standard garbage can. Yes, they did. $60! All for friendly and expedient service right to my garage door. We would definitely use them again!

Honestly, one little thing ruined this 1 star review from being a 5 star review…read more I worked with Dave and my corporate office to have Orlando Recycles pick up a plethora of old IT equipment ranging from monitors, to an old TV, desktops, etc. My corporate office gave me specific requirements on what needed to be done for hard drives, including a certificate per drive showing they were destroyed. This is a common requirement in IT departments everywhere, as obviously we're responsible for that data and don't need it getting into the wrong hands. This is something I spoke with Dave about over the phone, and reiterated I needed. Dave came by with another gentleman and took out all the equipment as requested no problem. Sometime later, I received a receipt that showed what was taken. The only thing that was numerically listed was the hard drives that were removed. However, I received no certificates. I emailed Dave. He said he had no notes of that request. Of course not, it was a phone conversation. Nor did he ask me on the day of if that was as service I needed or wanted. So while he apologized, that really doesn't help my case at all. Because of that slight oversight (which is actually a massive issue), I can't recommend nor use this company again in the future.

And you can do in-person shredding at their warehouse, where you can watch your stuff being shredded. I had less than a box to shred and was getting quotes from $60-90 from other companies. I was pretty frustrated by the time I called these guys, but the owner Victor told me to come on down to their facility and they did it for - get this - $10!! So kind and courteous, and they gave me a certificate of shredding afterwards. Everyone from corporate customers to individuals should go to them - a class act!

I enjoyed supporting this company with their goals to help support cleanliness and wash away issues like diarrhea who co is the number one cause of death for adolescents. The warehouse was clean and the coordinator was excited and truly enjoyed his work.

They always play great music and we keep busy the whole time. The organization is making such a huge difference in the whole world by recycling hygiene products that would otherwise just end up in landfills.
