I was sadly very let down by the service. I booked a move-in cleaning for an entirely empty house. The house was already pretty clean so I emphasized on the phone when booking and to the cleaners that my priority was to have a deep clean in the kitchen and bathrooms to sanitize everything. I certainly did not receive this. After arriving an hour late, the cleaners came to tell me that they had finished after a little over an hour. This surprised me as other cleaning companies had quoted me for services of four hours based on the size of the house. When I came in to take a look around, all the cleaning equipment had already been packed up and taken out of the house. I noticed that the master bathroom still had dust in the corners on the floor, there was grime around the shower control, and the windows/windowsill had clearly not been touched. I asked the cleaners to go over this space again, which they did; however, I do not see any difference. In the kitchen, the fridge had only been given a surface-level wipe down. There was still build-up around the water dispenser and smudging on the shelves. I then noticed that none of the cabinets in the kitchen had been opened or cleaned out at all. I asked them to do this as it is expressly stated in the move-in cleaning service description. I saw them begin to vacuum out the lower cabinets. At this point, I had to step into another room to speak with a repair man. A few minutes later, I heard the front door close. The cleaners had packed up their things and were leaving. None of the upper cabinets had been touched at all and the lower ones had simply been vacuumed, not wiped down. As there was a strong language barrier, I decided not to push the matter with the cleaners anymore and called the company instead. I received a phone call the next day asking if they could send another crew out to redo the work, but this could not be done until the next week. As I am moving in over the weekend, this wouldn't work so I asked for a refund. I received a curt response of, "Well, I tried," and, "How much do you want off?" The quote was originally $300. Since the work seemed like something I could have done in an hour with some Clorox wipes, I asked for at least $200 off the price. I ended up paying $100 for the service and will now be purchasing my own cleaning equipment to do it myself. read more
