After Russell reconfigured our back…read morehall entrance into a mudroom/laundry ( by removing a useless closet) earlier this year, we asked them for ideas about a cabinet to increase storage and finish the room. We went to their showroom, and along with their designer, we picked out a hanging cabinet and set of drawers with a countertop in a complementary color. We thought we had a good idea of the outcome, but our vision was vague. When Max and Luis arrived, they talked to us about what we wanted for at least 45 minutes and then made smart, thoughtful, near-genius suggestions to improve the look. We thought the dryer plug wouldn't be an issue behind the countertop. They thought it would be the first thing people saw and would be the focus when they walked in. We agreed, and they built a wall to cover the outlet. They got the paint (wall and ceiling), built the most solid frame in the house, and matched it perfectly with the rest of the room. We joked that this is where we would go in a hurricane. If my Wife and I were judging the finished room from 30 feet, Luis would be looking at it with a magnifying glass, and Max would be looking at it with a microscope. Their attention to the smallest detail was astonishing. To the point where Max insisted on installing a 2-inch by 1-inch piece of trim in a place hidden from almost any view in the room. Everyone who has worked on our house with Russell's Contracting has been exceptional. You can stop scrolling for contractors; call Russell's.

I explained that I had my first summer rental tenants coming on Saturday and I need two of the shower stalls (installed three years ago) repaired because of settling on our new home. My call to Dave was on Thursday and although they were swamped with business he asked one of his technicians Chris to be dispatched to do the repair the next day on Friday. Although Chris had to do some serious surgery on the stationary panel Chris did an amazing job in getting everything aligned properly on both shower stalls, and even returned to finish the second one with no additional charge. They are the best. Thanks to Dave, Chris, and Cassidy (the "dispatcher"). A great team!!! Ken Latour

Rob is easy going, while giving me great suggestions, and his work is beautiful! It's artwork! He also took care of everything from helping me size down a little ramp to cleaning up everything before he left. He went beyond expectations. I highly recommend Stone Solutions Maine, and if they can't get to your right away because they're so busy (there's a good reason that!), they are well worth waiting for, if you want quality work.

After being in our newly built home for 2 years, all we could envision was having a beautiful and…read morefunctional space in the backyard - that vision started with wanting a patio. We started looking for stone installers for our project who could accommodate a phased approach, which meant that the company we chose needed to connect with us, kind of like a friend, because our project wouldn't end with the patio and we'd be continuing the relationship into the future as we are able to roll out each phase of our vision. When we met with Rob at Stone Solutions Maine it quickly became apparent that this was our guy. In customer service, it is always the little things that make a big impact, from something as simple as receiving a pleasant "enjoy a wonderful day" at the end of a text communication - you truly feel appreciated as a customer, just as much as you would appreciate someone who is working to fulfill your vision. Everyone at Stone Solutions Maine is friendly, engaging and hardworking, we honestly couldn't have asked for a greater partner in this endeavor. That's just the people, the knowledge and the quality of work are just as exceptional and appreciated. The dedication to precision is obvious - and what's more, you know Stone Solutions Maine enjoys the work and strives to show that in the finished product. To be fair, we did attempt to obtain additional quotes and the experience in just speaking with some other companies was not for us. Stone Solutions Maine provided a reasonable time line for the project completion and finished sooner than we anticipated. From speaking with others about associated costs of installing a patio and in doing my own cost analysis to potentially install it myself, the project cost was more than fair in our opinion. As a new homeowner, working with Stone Solutions Maine has by far been the highlight of our "to do list" experience. We are now able to enjoy a greater connection to our outdoor space with our beautiful stone patio and we look forward to the rest of our vision coming to life with their help!!
