The Proscan 3T MRI at Crosspointe Dr in Naples is the answer for anyone who is claustrophobic. I am severely claustrophobic and have had many MRIs over the years- with eyes covered praying the Rosary where I thought my heart would jump out of my chest from anxiety, an open MRI where you can see to the side but the machine is still right in your face, premedication with 1 mg of Xanax 3 hours before and a second 1 mg an hour before that worked as I don't even remember having the MRI, though my driver assured me I did, but I felt terrible all day after. The 3T magnet is powerful enough that the machine doesn't need to be inches from your face, see photo. Talk to your doctor, but I had a great stress free experience. read more

Went to the Pro Scan on Sierra Meadows in Naples. Worst healthcare experience of my life! Got there 20min ahead of my scheduled appt and the receptionist was like a drill sargent. 'Sit down til I call you'. She was like that with the other 3 or 4 other clients/patients there as well. She should find a new line of work, that doesn't require any customer service! Ended up 35 minutes late for my 6:45 appt and was led into the change room. Didn't realize that I needed to take my cross, watch & bracelet off, even though it was a knee MRI. The tech gruffly told me to go back in the stall and take them off too. Once on the table they gave me ear plugs and a headset. For 10 minutes it was like 5 different car alarms going off for 30 sec, 60 sec, and even 2 minutes. Like a jackhammer in my ears. When we got thru the first knee MRI, I asked the two techs what's up with all the noise, they argued with me that it was necessary. The one tech even asked me 'where'd you go to school?' Very unprofessional and caustic. Suffered thru the second MRI and left with a roaring headache. Wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place! Hope the owner knows what uncaring, rude staff he has there. read more

I had a 10 o'clock appointment and I arrived early. When you are depending upon your GPS in Naples it can be a challenge. The address is on 9th Street and the directions took me to 7th street. I found the parking garage and I went to the 7th floor which is the top of the parking building. I can find my car and don't have to remember what floor I was on. :) I signed in was asked a few questions and took a seat. I was taken back for my Ultra Sound. In particular my kidney. They found something a year ago and wanted to recheck it. What stood out to me was the technician was amazingly friendly and kept me informed about what she was doing. I felt I was in a professional's care. As far as the results I won't know for a week or so. I am really not concerned it's all part of aging. read more

Everything went perfect from the admission to the actual test. The technician was just wonderful.

Staff was very professional and explained everything that would take place. The new MRI machine is a great addition - takes away the sensation of being insetted into a tube. Highly recommend it. Four stars because I had to wait an hour past my appointment time. read more

I was seen at the Pro Scan NCH Imaging at Med Plaza for an MRI. The care and treatment was exceptional.

Nothing special. I come out of convenience. Waiting room is plenty big with everything you expect from water, magazines to TV Easy parking across the path, indoor free private parking with plenty of shade from the hot sun. Attached to the Wellness Center and other departments and the Hospital. Valet service during season First floor entrance but way in the back of a low ceiling, kind of dark hallway. This facility could use renovation The staff gets you in and out as trained but not all that friendly. No one really wants to be a patient here, we have to be here, be nice if the staff remembers that. read more

The treatment I received by the tech who did my MRI was horrific! I am extremely claustrophobic and have never had an MRI. I was the first pateint of the day at 7:45 AM. The tech told me to lay down on the table and put a cage over my face and proceeded to move the table into the MRI and I told him to please wait a minute and explain to me what was going to happen and he got irritated with me and told me I was not going to throw him off his schedule! I had a panic attack and simply asked for a minute to catch my breath and he got more irritated with me and kept saying what I am doing here. His rude and heartless tone and words made me so much more stressed out my mouth went bone dry and my heart was racing and I felt like I was going to pass out. He was very abrupt and said he could not wait for me to be ready. I said my mouth is bone dry may I just have a sip of water and I will do it. He said NO if you want water you have to go to the lobby and get it myself and if I did that he would not have time to do my MRI. I could not believe how he was treating me. I made it through 20 minutes in a total panic and when he got me out of the MRI he said I don't know what you were expecting. I was so stressed my legs were like rubber and I could not stand up. He could care less!!!!! I was grabbing on to the chair and the wall to get out of that room and he offered zero help. I was in a bad way. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!!! How they allow their staff to treat patients this way is disgusting. I would not give this one star but this system makes me pick a star rating to be able to post this. DISREGARD the one star they don't deserve that much!!! read more

I have cover 10000 dollars in medical payments when they told me I would get a one third reduction in payment if I did not have insurance. After I told them several times I did not have insurance they kept on calling my former insurance company and thought I told them that insurance discontinued my service. I paid over the phone again today and they told me it is now paid in full. I am sure I am going to get another bill for another few thousand dollars because the computer system is messed up. read more
