ACERT crankshafts have had the dim reputation of breaking.... he also noted that Danny gave him the big F bomb which was not true. Danny offered him another block another crankshaft to move all of his engine parts in it,minus the one piston assembly that was destroyed at as sum of $18 k .. crankshaft when it breaks is a risk everyone is taking when they overhaul their engine. Before fixing my motor they spent a few days diagnosing, having me drive and then diagnosing again before completely tearing into the motor. I'm glad they did because I had a cracked head and some cracked exhaust manifolds. They replaced everything and I got no more misfires! The motor had 209,000 miles or so and I expect it will work great for the new owner.
