I had it towed to Import Auto and they confirmed my diagnosis. But they did more than just scan, they dove in and checked the whole system and found oil fouled hoses that might have burst and left me just as stranded. Getting the right hoses took some time, even with express shipping. They spent half a day trying stock and generic hoses from the parts shops and crafting a hose for my car, but in the end it fit, but not perfect and they said they just wouldn't trust it. So we waited for the right parts. In the end, the price was fair and work was done quickly. Most importantly, I feel like they made sure my car wouldn't leave me stranded again! Thanks guys!

Well, this seems spending for thermostat housing to be replaced, it's not their fault, it's the designers at Chevrolet's. The engine was ultimately found to have a bolt inside cylinder #1. Based on the evidence and the vehicle's service history, we believe the bolt was left in the engine during previous maintenance performed by the dealership service department. That foreign object ultimately caused catastrophic engine damage, leaving me facing the cost and hassle of replacing the engine shortly after purchasing the truck. What has been even more disappointing is how this dealership handled the situation. I reached out to them expecting them to at least take the situation seriously and work with me toward a reasonable solution. Instead, they were essentially unwilling to help. Not offering to take a look at the truck or report the only thing they offered was a $50 gift card, which is completely inadequate considering the circumstances and the $6,000 cost of the engine replacement. I understand that used vehicles can have problems, but having an engine fail less than a month after purchase and after fewer than 1,000 miles is extremely frustrating. What makes it worse is feeling like the dealership has no interest in standing behind the vehicle or helping resolve the situation. They only seem to care about profit and margins rather than current and future customers. Future buyers should be aware of this experience before purchasing a vehicle here.

I feel they were just throwing parts and looking for a fix. I also feel they took advantage of me as a female. I came in alone and they figured I didn't know much about cars and they took advantage of me. If they would have continued to try to fix the problem I would have ended up spending around $2300. I decided to get another opinion. I took it to another mechanic who diagnosed that I needed a new compressor and were able to fix the problem. It is now working great. I would not recommend this business to anyone. They do not know what they are doing and are just trying to run up your bill.
