As a millennial, I've done my fair share of cohousing situations and I think that the way that they navigate roommate changes and repairs has been as seamless as possible. There's been a lot of odds and ends work that needed to be done on the property that I lived in and they were always prompt to send out a repair person within 24 hours of a request being sent. They would even follow up with us when we may have let a contractor slip through the cracks. I highly recommend them and all their staff has been nothing but courteous and kind. Claire was my specific point of contact and whatever they are paying her isn't enough for how hard that girl works. She doesn't miss a beat and always makes times for tenant questions or concerns. A rockstar employee for a great woman-owned company.

0/5. I would not recommend renting from Fox Property Management. Fox Property Management does…read moremanage good quality properties on behalf of owners, and the on site agents are nice and helpful. Upon initial interactions with my short term (1 month rental) the process seemed friendly enough, LOTs of emails, background check, docusigns and additional ADMIN fees not part of the original listing; just to stay in an apartment for 1 month(while I was looking for a long term place). Looking back I should have just used Airbnb to make it more seamless... Upon extension of my short term lease, I was stuck in a tough situation where I needed to make an unforeseen change to my short term lease, less than 24 hours after signing. I promptly contacted Fox Management to clearly explain and asked to make an addendum to the lease. I was met with absolutely zero flexibility, a complete lack of empathy, ignored emails, ignored phone calls, unreturned voice messages, absolute disregard for people transitioning into new living situations from Tiffany and Ross. Management cited "we're a business we have to do what is best for our business" and "we are too busy, we'll look at that later". Fox Property management touts.... "smooth, thoughtful, guest centered operations" "bringing a sense of ease, comfort, and care into every stay".... I was met with the complete opposite from the short term management team. I can wholeheartedly say that this company has zero interest in helping you have a smooth experience, and is solely operating to gouge you with extra fees and maximize their return and benefit on the already overpriced properties they manage in Boulder. Absolutely shameful. Steer clear.

This company has proven that the best interests of the property owners is not a priority. As property managers, their ENTIRE JOB is to be an agent of the property owner and they do not even come close to adequately providing this. When a tenant requests a service, they take the chance to give business to their vendors rather than investigate if it's a real issue. I have had to request a walkthrough of my property no less than 5 times before any effort was made to address my concern. In addition, outstanding utilities balances from previous tenants was never taken care of, though it was their responsibility, leaving me stuck with bills and expenses that were not mine. Based on the BBB complaints and primarily bad reviews, it appears that my experience is not at all unique. There IS a difference in property management companies. Pioneer is the best property management…read morecompany I've worked with in the Denver area. The bad ones will often overestimate how much your place will get in rent, attract underqualified renters, provide low quality maintenance, and as a result, you have a lot of turnover and unexpected damage to your property. I've been there with other management companies in Denver, including many with allegedly good reviews. The good ones will keep it boring in the best way--consistent, high quality renters, fair market prices, and actual property management that leads to less damage, less turnover, and better care for your property. That's what Pioneer does. They do a great job of attracting qualified tenants who PAY ON TIME. They plan ahead and make your rental property as easy as you had hoped it'd be the day you decided to turn a place into a rental. They're responsive on email and by phone, and they want to do the right thing for you. It has been a night and day difference working with PPM compared to other management companies in the area. As first-time Colorado investors, they were weighing whether to self-manage from out of state or hire local support, and Debra made the decision easy by setting the bar high for what great property management should look like. Aspen Management also impressed me personally by promptly offering a referral fee and clearly outlining systems in place to protect my client relationship should they ever decide to sell.
