Also, it's the only gas station I know of that has wine tasting. I get the impression that they want to be the one-stop shop for the neighborhood. Yes, they are located just off a busy off-ramp for Hwy 99. (Yes, you can often see a lot of interesting clientele in the weird, late hours.) . I like it because it's a well-lit outpost of a gas station along the 99 corridor.

I pump here…read moreall the time and rarely use cash but yesterday I happened to have cash and pumped $30 using an $100 bill. They gave me $70 in change, a $20 and a $50. The next day I went to the bank to deposit money along with the change they had given me at the gas station and the bank teller informed me that the $50 was FAKE. I couldn't believe it and decided to go confront them. The cashiers were really nice about it and asked me if I remember who the cashier was that day and told her it was a Caucasian male with hair to his shoulders. They called the manager and he told me that unfortunately I couldn't get my money back since there was no way to prove that the $50 bill was indeed the one they gave me since I left the premises. I was so upset cause it's stupid for them not to check their money using a pen or a machine which he informed me they do but to my luck they clearly didn't. I hope he has his cashiers actually do their job and check money like how they're supposed to.

The Sam's club would have been kind of pushing it to get there before we got gas and also it was out of the way of where we were headed near Lake Natoma. Fortuitously, the wife was looking at where else we can use our Walmart+ membership for discounted gas besides Sam's club pricing at Sam's club gas and she saw that Walmart fuel locations work with Walmart+ membership and it even gives 10c off a gallon extra in savings too. So off we went that morning, and when we got there the lines weren't too bad, but there was no clear or one-way entrance and exit directions, it was a crazy free for all. That part was no bueno, but at least there were like 6 or 8 pumps and the lines weren't long so we got gas quickly and went on our way. The gas station was definitely not as well kept and felt kind of sketch, all I'd be wary to come at night, but daytime was fine just kind of not as clean as Sam's club gas stations. All in all, convenient location, we don't get out to this side of town often, so I've never seen this station till now, but I think it's been here for a good number of years. We've been to this Walmart, just not this gas station. For the extra 10c a gal savings, we "only" paid $5.53/ga instead of $5.63, and the wife was online that this is the least expensive gas station compared to all over. That's something in this economy.

There are no guided direction markers and/or signs, so cars are coming in any kind of direction, and this makes for a way to have an easy accident, or for people who are waiting for a pump in one direction to be upset because someone came in and swooped it from another direction.

In comparison to the name brand gas stations, Costco gas is now quite pricey and at the same level as Bay Area prices. But this location still has lower price than at Costco Elk Grove or other nearby Costco gas stations. Typical long lines at Costco gas stations. One bad experience with a female gas attendant who was very rude directing customers which pump to go to and hurrying up customers as it was near closing time. She called me grandpa so I called her great grandma LMAOOOO I wasn't going to but she asked for it haha I was going to file a complaint with management inside but I didn't. But as a loyal Yelper, I always feel compelled to write something about a business that I patronize. As far as gas stations go, they fit the bill as being a good, solid filling station. There is the expected convenience store within, car wash, restrooms and lottery tickets. They even go one step further by displaying a kiosk featuring Red Box DVD rentals near the entrance! You can't go wrong with a well rounded filling station that is available when you need not only gas, but food and drinks to take along on your trip! Prices are good too!

I started my car, tried multiple times, and it was obvious no gas had actually gone into my tank, still at E-empty and paid 5.2 gallons which would have given my tank half full but I didn't get a drop. Since I was already running late and needed to get to Wilton after sitting in post-Fourth of July Truckee traffic, I had no choice but to risk using a different pump. That one worked immediately - full tank and that was 10.7gallons When I went inside to explain what happened, instead of listening or trying to help, the employee became defensive, accused me of trying to steal from the store, and raised his voice. That's not customer service--that's gaslighting a paying customer. I drive a 2010 Toyota Corolla with about a 13-gallon tank, and the Indian dude wants to claim that I was given 5.2 gallons of gas and then later I was able to add another 10.7 gallons to it... Ridiculous - the numbers simply don't add up. And I have the receipts to prove it- attached. Unfortunately, this isn't my first bad experience here. I've previously been charged prices that didn't match the advertised sign, and I've had other issues in the past. I kept giving this place another chance, but this was the final straw. Congratulations--you got my $26, but you lost a loyal neighborhood customer. I'll gladly spend my money at the other stations where customers are treated with respect instead of being accused of being thieves. If you value honest service and working pumps, I'd recommend going somewhere else.
