When it comes to high quality gas, it's all about Chevron as one of the best! I also love that no matter which one you go to, they ALWAYS pride themselves in keeping their restrooms and establishment in general all around are so damn CLEAN....and if anything is crap to you, just let them know and they'll fix it ASAP. This Chevron is a great go-to for gassing up leaving Elk Grove/Sacramento to wherever the hell you're going. It always clean inside and outside of this spot. Outside, there are no weirdos messing with you, asking you for money or doing any illegal paraphernalia partaking. The stone filled entrance just makes it so damn classy too. I'm easy to please. This Chevron station is next to Highway 5 on Elk Grove Blvd. I had to stop by for restroom and snack. I can't resist of grabbing one of those luscious and plumb dogs on the rollers. Shiny and healthy dogs... The buns were dated and very fresh. So, did the condiments. One for $2.47 tax included. That was the first meal of the day. It got protein, starch, and vegetable (not in that order). OMG I wonder how today's meal gonna cost. I'm so blessed. I got what I needed for less than $3. Maataua helped me out today. As all establishments need to, she had to remind someone that they needed a mask to be served. The other customer was super rude to her and decided to tell her that his shirt was better than her mask. (Rude and super unnecessary, never bite the hand that feeds you! Tsk tsk, sir!) Maataua was very professional and proceeded to remind him that she could help him outside. ***************est.1879*************** Quite possibly the best overall gas station in Elk Grove. This place is located just off of the I-5 at an intersection where it competes with Arco and Shell. This is also the cleanest station that I've seen in the EG. Everything from the pumps all the way through to the restrooms seem to be well taken care of. It sometimes gets busy, however the pumps work well and this place is a truly efficient fuel station. Inside you'll find plenty of soft drinks and other snacks. You will more than likely find a snack that will appease your tastebuds in the EM mart here. Be sure to make a donation (as little as a buck) to charity inside. I saw a tip on here that the gas is cheaper than Shell across the street. Contrary to that input, the Shell is less expensive if you use your rewards program which is free, easy, and quite the bargain. Otherwise, this station may be slightly cheaper per gallon. The only caveat is that you must purchase a minimum of 8 gallons of Nitro (premium/ 91 octane) at Shell to qualify for the $.10 off per gallon on your next visit. I think that this Shell's offer is best if you're simply looking for the cheapest high quality gasoline. Anyway, back to Chevron. This place gets 5 stars for meeting my expectations for a gas station in a pretty impressive way. There is a car wash, which is an unmanned drive thru. It's a little expensive for what you get, but if you just have to save time and rinse dirt off, this is your place. The air dryer doesn't do very much to dry your car (which is the same problem with mast gas station car washes). Chevron is quality and I recommend this station. Did I mention that you also get value from the periodic sales on snacks which can be a real additional advantage to your wallet? A win all day. read more

We stopped to use the restroom and get some snacks for the road and as soon as she seen us headed to the restroom, she yells out at us"The restrooms are closed!!" So I asked her if Chevron is supposed to have the friendliest service and cleanest restroom, where does she go to the restroom and she just gave a dirty look and ignored me. Numerous occasions, this has been my go to gas station. It's close the freeway and next to my daughter's school. And this gas station is not crowded. I've never used there car wash services. read more

This chevron is located right off I-5 elk grove and is almost always a few cents cheaper than the chevron off the I-5 laguna. There is a touchless carwash here. I can always find my Rockstar energy drinks here and Funyuns when needed before class! read more

I'm a regular here. The pump is never rude, delivers my gas promptly and is always there waiting for me when I arrive. My only real problem with Chevron is that they don't offer free refills! Shady. read more

I have stopped here many times and most of the people who work at Chevron on 9615 W Taron Dr, Elk Grove, CA 95757 seem really pissy. I try to smile and be nice, either alone or with a friend and we always leave thinking OK, time to find a new place to stop for soda and lottery tickets. But convenience always leads us back. The other day may have been too far when the Michelle Rodriguez knockoff was particularly cranky. I have lived near this Chevron for 2 years. My license expired on 6/11. I was not notified by the DMV. I went in to purchase a cigar and was told my ID was expired though I had it with me. The employee went on to sell me the cigar based on logic. I went back to Chevron on 6/19 and was helped by the Manager Brandi. I just turned 34 and I look young for my age. She asked my for my birthday, I gave it to her and she sold me the cigar. I went back on 6/20 to buy another cigar. My new license is in the mail already renewed. I was honest with Brandi and told her my license expired though she sold me one based on my birthday the day before. This was a bad experience, I would rather no one sell me a cigar at all while I wait on my ID. It also showed me that they will let it go if you give the birthday, but if you let them know the truth, you will be penalized for it. I understand the laws and know that I need to have my ID updated. My request would be dont sell them to me at all instead of a case by case basis. I have no problem with the store, this was just a poor experience and improper use of the law. This Chevron gas station on W. Taron Drive is our normal gas stop if we're ever on I-5 and need to fill up when traveling down south. The workers are always friendly and the store is pretty clean and well stocked. The hubby gets gas while I load up on our Rock Stars, Red Bulls, Funnyuns chips, and spicy beef jerky strips. With all the goodies and a full tank of gas we get going on our way with no problems. read more
