Right off of Elk Grove Blvd, right before the freeway entrance. I saw that gas was under $5 so I stopped and filled up. There were lots of stalls open. Unlike the one in West Sacramento, this location takes credit cards at every stall. A huge plus for me. I hate going in and having to guess the amount it will cost to fill it up.. There was no trash on the ground. They don't have a tap function on the credit card machine so you have to insert your card and wait for them to say remove your card. This isn't an issue, just a fact. The place was clean, with the exception of the subway cup someone left on top of the tank that I was using. They have a convince store on property and a car wash. The car washes start at $9. I would have gotten one, but when I filled up it didn't ask if I wanted a car wash. I guess you have to go in to purchase a car wash. That's odd as gas stations with car washes usually offer them when you fill up. Too bad my car would have appreciated a wash. read more

Despite the 24 hour convenience , availability of food and drink, and great location by the highway , the customer service was lousy. Went in unsure how lottery ticket redemption worked and 1 of the ladies at the register rolled her eyes at me and had the most unprofessional customer service behavior I've seen in a while. Of all the AM PM gas stations in the Elk Gove area, this is my favorite. The gas prices are consistently the lowest in the area for all gas stations at Harbor & Elk Grove Blvd and Harbor & Laguna Blvd (near I-5). This station has state of the art gas pumps with pay at the pump options. The nozzles stay in place so you don't have to hold them, bonus! The news and weather report on the mini "TV" like screen, while you're filling up are nice, too. The mini market is organized, neat, and all most of the employees are personable, seem happy to be at their jobs. Bathrooms are very clean. Shelves are well stocked, plenty of selections of beverages, snacks, self service soda fountain with BOTH Coke and Pepsi products. The staff are constantly tidying up the soda, coffee and Slurpee bars. There's a carwash plus vacuum station. Love this place! read more

This is a pretty busy gas station. You pull up and choose the kind of gas you need. They have a separate paying station if you prefer to pay by cash. Simply choose the pump number and insert the cash you wish to fill up with. Otherwise you can pay at the pump that you're at. It's DEBIT card only! They also charge you 35 cents for using debit! I don't agree with that since it's technically cash! There are other AM/PM 's that actually take credit cards just not this one! The employees are always super nice when I go inside. They sell hot foods like hot dogs and breakfast items. They also sell anything from chips, candy, donuts, cold sandwiches, fountain/bottle drinks, to all kinds of convenience items!! Whomever thought of naming a gas station AM-PM was brilliant! When you think of AM-PM you naturally think of a business open day and night, 24 hour a day, 365 days a year. First of all I love the location. It's situated right off Highway 5 and Elk Grove Blvd. I can get gas either before I do errands or on the way back home. Secondly their gas is usually about 20 cents cheaper than their competitors. The station is like a mini grocery store. I can find almost anything I need here. Prices may be a little higher but that the price of you pay for convenience. In the middle of the night when all the other grocery stores are closed, I can come here and find what I need whether it medical related such as aspirins, cough drops, or something more urgent to take care of that growling stomach of mine "FOOD". With the drought in it's 4th year, I sometimes use their car wash. I always get the 5 dollar wash which is their basic wash. For every 4 car wash purchased I get one "FREE". Sure I can go to other AM-PM gas stations around town but for me this is the largest, cleanest, and the safest. I have never encountered any transients asking for money here where I have at most of the other locations. It's kind of scary! The employees are super nice so why go anywhere else? For me this is a NO "BRAINER". read more

Went there to fill up with gas then went into the convenience market to buy a few items, the bill was $25.34, I gave the clerk $26.00 after she took my $26.00 she told me she didn't have any change, closed the till and said next, when I told her no, I want my change she became extremely rude. I can buy gas anywhere and while I have bought the majority of my. gas at this location since it opened around 20 years ago I refuse to ever purchase anything from the ampm again and will be going across the street to Chevron and pay $0.30 per gallon more just NOT give this ampm my business. read more

The last time I was in this gas station I could use my credit card. That was quite some time ago- now they only allow debit cards. I did not notice any signage that mentioned this, even at the counter. Then the card machine tells you it's a .35 surcharge for using your debit. I can't be the only person who thinks this is criminal. Yes I chose to purchase, but I had thirsty kids in the backseat and I promised them something. Will never be back. This is my go to gas and car wash stop. There is never a line to pump gas and the prices are the best in the area. The car wash is your usual run of the mill but does its job. The only reason this location is getting 2 stars is because it is probably one of the cleaner gas stations I've been too. In that aspect a 5 Star would suffice. But besides that, the car wash and customer service is not all that. The blonde lady with the big hair (age ranging between 50 to 60) is extremely rude. I've dealt with her the last 3 times I visited in the afternoon because of technical issues with their car wash. Now speaking of their car wash, it is an amazing deal, but incredible scam. For $25 dollars a month, you get unlimited car washes. Great deal, except their car wash is ALWAYS BROKEN. It is not maintained for nothing. I had been patient with it for about 6 months before I canceled payments with my bank. The first time I used it, it was out of the rain x soap. The second time, the drier fan stopped working. Holy crap is this a busy gas station! I walked over to buy some snacks from my hotel and there were cars all over the place. Tons of pump stations! Inside the store, there's even quick hot foods if you need to eat and drive off. It's a pretty big selection of stuff to by for the road. I got some Fritos and Cheetos. East check out and paid cash. Only thing I don't like about ARCO is you have to pay cash and I use my Costco gas card and get 4% off gas when I charge it, but I can't do that here. Right off of I-5. This store has a lil bit of everything. Can't go wrong if you need something that not every gas station carries. Protein shakes, feminine products, hot and ready: breakfast, lunch, and dinner type foods, medicines, and snacks/drinks galore. Because it is an Arco there is a $0.35 fee for using debit whether for gas or inside for snacks, etc. Pay with cash, avoid the fee, fill up your tank and/or your belly and enjoy the open road. read more

Super shady gas station. They leave all of their lights on even when they are closed and pumps are turned off. The gas pumps don't tell you they are turned off and you don't find out until after you pay. If you use the cash machine it issues refunds inside the store and if they are closed you can't get your money back. Their sign also does not indicate when they open back up, just says we'll be back. I lost $20 here trying to get gas at a gas station that wasn't even opened but had all the lights on like it was even the store was lit up. Never going to get gas from Arco again, crappy gas, suspect stores and stupid credit/debit card fees that no other gas stations charge. read more

At 10:45am this morning, 5/23/2021, a clerk at this AM/PM store balantly stole $20 from me. If you are the manager of this this store, please call me and I will gladly provide more specific information. It was the right (not left) cash register, looking from the main door towards the registers. If you checked who logged in at the RIGHT cash register at 10:45am on 5/23/2021 you would find the culprit. This is how she did it. I gave her $20 cash and said, "$20 on pump #4 please." She failed to produce a receipt and simply looked at me and nodded. Many clerks here before did the same so I didn't think much about it. But when I went out to pump gas at pump #4, there's no money in it. When I went back, I told the same clerk, "I want my $20 back for pump #4 because the pump does not work." She said, "There's no money in it. I can't give you money if you don't have receipt." How did she know I don't have receipt??! I don't know how many people she had stole money from this way, but it's a theft in broad daylight. I just came back only 3 minutes from the time I gave her money. There's no way she accidentally forgot. The bottomline is: Make sure you always get a RECEIPT from the clerks when you gave them cash instead of credit card! read more

I like this Arco here because its right here before you get on the freeway. I used to come here all the time when I lived near here. But I don't get to come here too much anymore. Just happen to be in the neighborhood and needed some gas and thought I'd stop here. The staff is always nice and helpful and the store is always clean. Its a pretty big Arco and it gets busy, but the wait is never too long, because they always seem to have someone to back up when it get busy as well as paying outside as an option. The donuts and the hotdogs and the burgers they sell are always fresh. I like that there's a lot of pumps to get gas. You never have to sit and wait for one too long if at all. They have a carwash, which is pretty cool. It all works out great if you're heading out on a road trip. You can fill up and wash your car and then just hit the freeway. One stop shop! Their gas prices are pretty cheap here at lease cheaper compared to all the other gas station over in this area and there is quite a few of them to choose from. This gas station is located right across the street of 2 other gas stations. Yet this one seems to have the most traffic whenever I come! It's not as bad as a Costco or Foods Co where you have to usually wait in line. I like that it's located right by I-5 and right beside food places like McDonalds. Only downside is you have to pay by debit at the pump or else go inside to pay. If you choose to pay at the pump, it's an extra 35 cents added to your bill. Gas is usually pretty cheap here compared to Chevron or Shell so it remains my go-to when I'm on this side of town. read more

I've never really felt it necessary to review a gas station before but this one seems to stand out. Despite the fact that AM/PM is cheaper across the board when it comes to gas, they also tend to employ the friendliest people and they have a pretty decent selection of snacks and drinks! The AM/PM at Lakeside in Elk grove stands up to that great tradition of customer service and takes it even a step further. The staff here is overly friendly and eager to help. The store is clean and the selections are always well stocked. As of right now I am a loyal customer to this pit stop and if I'm in the area, I won't even think about going somewhere else. read more

If you want someone to give your money away go to this Arco. I am a parapelgic in a wheelchair and I had my husband go put 40.00 in and the cashier gave our 40.00 to another pump and not ours. When we asked about why our ]pump wasn't working the cashier said she put it on the wrong pump. My husband replied well I need my gas and she said I'm sorry there is nothing that I can do. REALLY! So this girl can just make these mistakes and we have to live with them. No problem with Arco just the workers who don't know what they are doing. They have signs out Now I know why because they can't keep an honest person in their store. I will never go back to that Arco. I'm giving them a low rating because their gasoline hoses are too short. You have to pull up to the pump with your gas cap facing the pump. If your cap faces away, the hose is too short. Other than that, I have no complaints. The station looks clean, safe, and well lit. They are the cheapest compared to the other stations. read more
