The Cashier said she wasn't sure if that could be done and called for help from another employee. The other employee, an older man with a ponytail, confirmed what the young woman said, stating that those are the rules for this gas station location. He pointed to a sign on the wall that read "we have the right to refuse service to anyone." He said those are the rules that his boss made, regarding the lotto tickets. The entire situation was horrible. I don't play the lotto often but every location I used in California allows a customer to redeem a free ticket won from a scratcher, to purchase a Powerball, Mega Millions (depending on the value of the scratcher's free ticket) or on some occasions even redeem the free ticket for cash. I believe the employees at this location could have been kinder to the customer. He was patient and also wanted to purchase beer from the store. After the interaction, the older man called me up to the counter while the Cashier continued to assist the customer. I asked the man if he knew if the Mason's Den food truck would be there that evening. He didn't recognize the name. Then I guess he remembered and said oh "the place with the funnel cakes?" I said yes. He said he wasn't sure, that the truck was usually there by now and if it wasn't that it might not show up. Overall my low rating of this establishment has to do with the interaction I observed and my interaction with the older man. I did not get gas from this location.

I got off of Sierra Ave. After I turned left, I noticed there was a new gas station about a quarter mile north of where I was originally planning to pump. Well, I was curious so I drove over to this 76. Its gas prices are a little bit higher than its neighboring gas stations. It appears to be a newly renovated gas station. It has about 20 gas pumps if I counted it correctly. It's a good size gas station. It has very bright lights outside. Food mart inside is a tad tight IMHO. They have too many stuff. They also have Krispy Krunchy Chicken available. After pumping gas, I needed to use the restroom. The women's restroom was locked. I asked if anyone was inside and no one answered. What I found odd was that it had a key lock from the outside. However, the men's restroom didn't have it. I didn't feel comfortable so I left. Anyway, if you're coming from the north side and you can wait a quarter of a mile, then I would recommend you pump at the other gas stations to save a little bit of money. Otherwise, pump away. I did not have the time to go inside (kinda defeats the purpose of pay at the pump), so I had to use a different card that isn't connected to my business, what a pain in the you know what. When I got home, I verified that the bank did not restrict the card, so it is all on Fastrip. I'm not sure I will continue to go to this ghetto gas station, they don't make it convenient to make purchases.
