There was only one employee we saw during the entirety of our visit but he was super friendly. We ordered a bottle, the charcuterie platter and a pizza. The charcuterie board is refrigerated and they provide a bag of crackers as well. We went with the veggie pizza & it took maybe 20 minutes to come out and was absolutely delicious. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous. There are 3 covered areas to sit at up top with plenty of seating. Down the first flight of stairs has a fish pond and some beautiful areas to walk around. I'm not sure if that area was where they do weddings as there was also a spot across the way with a dais, but we didn't make it over there. The wine was delicious! We tried two of the whites and the sweet rosé. I'm not normally a rosé fan, but it was my favorite wine I had there. Overall we had a really relaxing time with beautiful views. You will get two different parking lots here. Just keep in mind, Bella Marie does host campers & trailers to use the parking lot, overnight. Luckily when we booked our date/ time for the event- some of our bikes arrived half an hour earlier of opening time & this gave us time to scope out the parking situation. We were luckily enough to get the spots we wanted. My friend & I came to Bella Marie about 6 weeks prior to our event date to check out the grounds & see what Bella Marie offered guests. The upper parking lot, adjacent to the retail store & restroom is also where we reserved our event location. The store offers pre made picnic baskets, a wide selection of mini charcuterie kits, & sundries. Bottled water, juices, etc. We booked for 10 people & we're told it'd be a $50 deposit & that specific group size would need to purchase 6 bottles. On the day of our event, our $50 deposit would be applied to 2 bottles of wine. We kept our price range on the lower price end, for the group. We were told on the day of our booking- outside food is also allowed. Which is very convenient for guests, since there is no kitchen serving meals. I believe this is such a great idea, which would make me return to just another event. On the day of our event, we had less than 10 gals (including me). And two of our guests purchased a flight of wine each. Another of our gals made it very clear she didn't care for wine - but, wanted to buy her mother a bottle. But, this friend was also at the counter helping us decide which bottles to choose for our group. She was a fan of Aprepos and actually bought a bottle for herself! LOL.
