This place is an insult to the Briggs and Stratton name. I will never buy through this place or its affiliates again. Below is a copy of what I submitted to the Better Business Bureau The package arrived damaged. When I contacted the shipper I asked for a replacement to be expedited and the shipping to be refunded. I included the same pictures I have included with this complaint. They told me in an email and over the phone that it could not be expedited nor would they make it right by providing a refund. "Awaiting Fulfillment" on every part. Horrible company! Tried to cancel an order within 24 hrs of being placed after looking at order status and finding all but 1 item of 5 was on backorder. Was told the shipping dept needed to check if the backordered items were already in transit and that it could take 24-48 hrs to hear back. 48 hrs later (2 days) they said it was already in route to them. Highly unlikely this would have been the case if they checked with the supplier right when I told them I wanted to cancel. They charge a 20% restocking fee, so I'll be out over $50 on the order. To top it off, even though I said I didn't want it, I got an email saying the items were in route to them. A call was made after this and they are still sending them even though they were instructed not to. I shouldn't have to pay the restocking fee as well as cost to ship it back. Incredibly stupid. I had a business online for many years and I can see why customers were pleased doing business with me. This is just such a bad way to do business. There was no indication of this company name on the website that this was the company I was buying from - only said Briggs Stratton Store powered by ProntoMowers - which is not the company that charged my credit card - my card was charged by Smallengineprodealer. This 'business' does offer extremely low pricing. The lowest you will find anywhere online. The only problem is, they don't deliver anything. You will pay for your order, then wait, and wait, and wait, and.... You get the point. After 2+ months of waiting, I sent them an email asking for order cancellation and refund. A week goes by, and nothing. I disputed the charge with CC company. I am sure that is what prompted the email I received from this business 4 days after filing dispute. The product is quoted as inexpensive, with an acceptable estimated delivery date. The hook is set. Considering the estimated delivery date provided, the average person doesn't question if the items are in stock. This is how it works from there. Unfortunately, the customer awaits for delivery on the estimated date provided. Unbeknownst to the customer, the order is placed on the back burner, because something is "out of stock." They don't notify the customer of the problem. Instead, they order the part from their supplier. Based on their logic, once they order the item, it is not on back order. According to their "company policy" if an order is not on back order, it can't be canceled. That's a scam! I doubt they have any inventory at all. If I could give them -5 stars I would- Terrible customer service. I ordered a part that was the wrong one. I called them to see if they had the correct part. They said no and they could not get it. After a week of them trying to make me forget about my order, they finally gave me their address to send the part back. I just called today since they've had my part for three days back in their warehouse and they are trying to steal 40% of my order as a restocking fee. I explained to them that was not going to happen and that I would dispute the 40% with my bank. This is a horrible company to deal with.
