I stopped by there with my dad because, as far as he knew, they were one of the few places in Lubbock that sold tripe. The Good: From what I understand the tripe was quite cheap relative to other places that sold it. They had a good variety of Mexican foods as well as produce used in Mexican cooking. There was even a guy out front selling snow cones! The Bad: The place is fairly small and the carts are regular sized shopping carts. It's hard to maneuver in such a tight spot. If you're not used to seeing some Mexican crazy you should definitely prepare yourself. Overall: I would absolutely go there again. The prices were cheap and they had many Mexican foods that you'd have no chance of finding at Lowe's or United.

I almost don't recommend trying them because you're going to end up comparing every other birria place to this one. Nothing else is going to hit the same after this. The birria quesadillas are SO good. The meat is flavorful, the cheese, the tortilla, the consommé... everything is on point. I honestly didn't think I was going to finish all four, but I guess I underestimated myself because I finished every single one. That's how good they were. Definitely coming back to try other things on the menu, but the birria quesadillas are going to be hard to beat. Seriously, if you're thinking about trying this place, do yourself a favor and go!
