The family's original sister restaurant in Argentina dates back to 1987, and the food absolutely feels rooted in tradition and authenticity. This was actually my first experience trying Argentinian food. From the Milanesas section of the menu, I ordered the Napolitana, topped with tomato sauce, ham, and cheese. I later learned it's supposedly soccer legend Lionel Messi's favorite dish. To me, it reminded me a bit of a deep-fried German schnitzel, in the best possible way. It came with delicious fries that disappeared quickly. My wife absolutely loved the freshly made empanadas. One detail we thought was clever: each empanada is stamped with a number identifying the filling, which makes ordering and sharing much easier. The surprise star of the meal was the Rogel cake for dessert. Thin, flaky layers packed with dulce de leche and topped with toasted meringue/ rich, crunchy, sweet and absolutely unforgettable Another fun surprise was the robot that delivers the food from the kitchen before the server brings it to your table.
