Food: I ordered a spinach calzone, a slice of the veggie pizza, and a breadstick with marinara dipping sauce. Food was excellent. I loved the crust and the amount of veggies on the pizza and a hefty amount of spinach in the calzone! Service: prompt and excellent. The owner is so kind and helpful and makes sure each customer is taken care of from start to finish. Ambiance: welcoming and low pressure. Not a ton of seating but enough for a little crowd. read more

The pizza was pedestrian at best. I did like the garlic knots. The place is to small for the service system they use. It was a busy convention week. It'sweird to watch someone pull out a pizza from the oven to cut it then put it back in the oven. Just finish cooking the dang thing in the first place. You couldn't make them fast enough as it was but then the cook cut and cook seemed stupid to alot of frustrated people. The owner god mad at a customer who question why it was taking so long. read more

If you're in a hurry for a quick bite, there's a pizza with your name on it at Pronta Pizzeria. The Pizzeria is conveniently located across from the Indiana Statehouse building. It's a small simple shop with about 10 tables. The shop wasn't busy during our off-season visit. The menu (on the wall) offers New York style pizza, calzones, pasta and salads. Prices are amazing for a downtown establishment. The pizzas are pre-made and heated upon ordering. Breadsticks are a popular item that everyone seemed to order. I had a slice of the supreme pizza and my husband had the meat lovers. The slices are large and are delivered hot to your table (or ready for carry-out). The pizza was good and filling with lots of fresh toppings. They have sodas and beer by the can or bottle. The staff is friendly and efficient. read more

Quick, no fuss establishment featuring regular and Tex-Mex flavors on boardwalk style pizza. The crust perfectly holds up the toppings and came out pipping hot. The fiesta had a large amount of chorizo & jalapeño that it felt like I was eating a taco wrapped in pizza. The cheese was perfectly crisp on both slices. Definitely a great spot to pick up a slice! read more

If you've ever dreamed of recreating the experience of waiting for a bus in Death Valley while slowly dehydrating, Pronta Pizzeria delivers--just not the pizza. We've been here 30 minutes, still no food, but on the bright side, the inside temperature is hovering around "blast furnace" levels. Who needs air conditioning when you can slow-roast your customers like the toppings you're not serving them? Maybe "Pronta" is Italian for "eventually," because that's the only timeline I can imagine for when this pizza might arrive. Until then, I'll be over here sweating through my clothes and reconsidering every life choice that brought me to this moment. read more

As a former New Yorker, I enjoy a good pizza by the slice place. They're a city hallmark. And Pronta delivers. Great pies, friendly and speedy staff, and the restaurant was clean and offered a fair number of tables for the size. read more

Food is amazing and the staff is so welcoming! Was exactly what I needed the day before the Indy marathon!

I didn't get to eat the pizza while it was still hot because it took forever for my friends to get to the car before we could leave. But I can imagine. This was a cool spot close to the convention center and is packed with people. The service was pretty good and it was clean inside. They also sell individual slices and drinks. Give this place a try if you're nearby and itching for pizza. read more

Pizza was fresh and crispy. Owner was very nice and treated customers well. Prices are very reasonable for downtown.

This is a great new pizza place downtown. The Mexican pizza is next level. Do not miss out on that. The cheese pizza and bread sticks are good too. Every slice I've tried here is always good. They had some Peruvian soda too, and it was delicious. The inside is small, but there's always plenty of room. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. This is close to the Statehouse IndyGo Redline stop, just across the street from the cultural trail, and very close to all the government buildings / circle center mall. Try this place if you are near by. Get the Mexican pizza. You will not regret it!!! read more

I really feel like this is a slept on gem. It is so easy to get a mediocre slice of pizza in Indianapolis. But this place makes them fresh throughout the day, good service, beer/wine available. Pizza is foldable and toppings are of a good quality. Prices are middle-of-the-pack where it should be. If you're near the State House or convention center, skip the tourist traps and come here! read more

I was in the area going to the Capitol building. When leaving I saw this place. For some reason, I remember hearing about it, but with covid everyone kind of scaled back eating out. I went in very small place. The lunch special is till 2pm. You get a slice, bread stick, and drink for almost $12.00. I opted for a slice that was almost $7.00. You pick what slice you want. There are different flavors of pizzas, probably 6 different choices. I got the margarita pizza. If you eat there, there's not alot of room. The staff is very nice, the place is clean, but the pizza did not wow me. I can at least say, I have seen it, and eaten here. They have a good variety of pizza slices to choose from. Not for me, lacked flavor, it had been sitting out for a while. Your can taste it. read more

I was looking to get a good pizza in town while in my overnight. That's when I saw a local pizzeria with great reviews and even good prices. I decided to order delivery and did it thru the Slice app.. So we ordered a large cheese pizza and a large onions, peppers and mushrooms. I am glad I prefer from there. The pizza was fresh, thin crust and delicious. I would ordered from this place again. read more

Yes, good pizza and good people. Pizza can be ordered by the slice, or the whole pizza. We ate here with a group of 4 and had a most wonderful time and food. The owner took our order, his wife (who he claimed makes a better pie) made the pizza and he delivered it to our table. When we walked in he told us they had just received a call-in for 18 pizzas! But I think he moved us up the list because our pizza came out in perfect timing. Perfect New York style for folding or eating regular (I did both). No frills, no unnecessary expense, just good pizza. Pronta comes recommended from this fella - and his wife and guests. :) read more

Very little effort given. Pizza was not heated up enough. Rushing to get our order out. Pizza was cold. UPDATE: The owner reached out and messaged me that if I wanted hot pizza I needed to let them know when I ordered that I wanted hot pizza. Also told me not to complain. read more

As I returned to my office at the Indiana Government Center this week for the first time in over a year, I couldn't help but look around the downtown area at some of the old familiar businesses that simply couldn't survive a year that brought devastation upon a myriad of indie businesses. One of those "old familiars" was Tammy's International Pizza Sensation, a divey little pizza joint you couldn't help but love located in a fairly non-descript retail spot directly across from the Indiana Government Center. When the Government Center pretty much sent most employees to work from home, that spelled doom for many of those area businesses that relied on that business and convention foot traffic. Tammy was a delight and it's sad to see that pizza joint go away. The good news is that a new pizza joint has taken its place, Pronta Pizzeria, a Hispanic-owned place opened up by Carlos Lopez that is just as simple, just as divey, maybe even a little bit better in terms of taste, and an absolute delight in terms of customer service. Quite a bit of the interior is similar to what existed with Tammy's. You enter and the front-area dining room is fairly narrow with room for a handful of tables. The interior decor is fairly basic, though they've added multiple wide-screen monitors on the wall to broadcast their menu. The menu consists primarily of a wide variety of pizza, both by the slice and pies, along with calzones, subs, pastas, salads, breadsticks, and a couple desserts. They offer slice combo options on pretty much all their slices with combos including a large slice, a couple plain breadsticks (with cheese or marinara sauce), and a drink. The drinks are all cans/bottles. The combos start at around $8.25 and go up. I ordered a sausage slice, two breadsticks, and grabbed my bottle of unsweetened iced tea. The woman working the counter was super friendly and helpful. The pizza slice was extremely good - both breadsticks and pizza were nice and hot upon arrival. The breadsticks were also quite good. I'm not sure I'd say either item was the best I'd had, however, this was definitely upper tier for "by the slice" joints. I'd easily order both items again and easily return again. This is primarily a neighborhood/downtown pizza joint. There are meters along the government center. There are also parking garages around. The sidewalk is a little beat up, but there are appropriate curb cuts. The counter is rather tall, but the woman working the counter went around it to be sure to establish eye contact with me. That was appreciated. Overall, Pronta is definitely a welcome addition to the neighborhood. You can easily get a combo for under $10. While the interior is simple and a bit divey, it's clean and very comfortable. When it gets crowded, it can be a bit difficult in a wheelchair but it's workable and most of the state employees who dine here are used to dealing with accessibility and easily make it work. I'm not quite ready to call Pronta a 5-star joint, but it's a solid 4-star joint and the kind of little indie pizza joint I love to give my business. The prices are fair, the food is great, and the employees are super friendly. I'll definitely be back. read more

Good and inexpensive food, perfect for students! They were so accommodating when we came in near closing time and cooked us five pizzas!

I had a couple slices of pepperoni pizza, two plain breadsticks and pizza sauce dipping sauce. The food was excellent and the service was fast and very friendly. I forgot to order the dipping sauce and they threw it in at no charge. My husband and I were hungry for pizza tonight and we wanted to try a new place. We saw this place delivered via Uber eats and decided to try it. Boy am I glad we did! Everything was hot when it was delivered. I got a calzone with pepperoni and sausage and it was delicious. I also got some pepperoni breadsticks and they were very tasty as well. My husband got the Hawaiian pizza and it was awesome too. Everything was really good and we will definitely be ordering from here again soon! It may become our south side pizza destination. My pictures aren't great because we dug in right away! read more

this place is bad. So bad. Got a slice of their pizza. It's mainly bread--like, actual bread, not pizza crust--and very light on toppings. Overpriced bc I guess the rent is high and the management doesn't figure people will be making a trip downtown for their pizza--their aiming for travelers, in town for conferences, not repeat customers, bc with their nasty food, who would come back??? read more

People were super friendly and pizza was hot but seemed old and toppings were scarce. Garlic knots were warm but also seemed old.

I was happy to see a new pizza place open in the spot formerly occupied by Tammy's International Pizza. This is a great location within easy walking distance of the government center, convention center, downtown Marriott hotels and Westin. We stopped in for a quick takeout lunch and were warmly greeted by the staff. We tried the slice combo which comes with breadsticks (w/ marinara or cheese dipping sauce) and a canned or bottled drink. You can also sub a salad for an extra $.50. They had a good selection of pizzas by the slice which were fast and ready to go after a quick finishing minute in the oven. Their pizzas are fresh and artisan style with freshly made sauce and a light chewy crust. Slices were huge and prices were very fair for the downtown location. Lunch for 2 was just over $20. I'll be back! read more

I was walking down the street and the owner came out to say hi! Very friendly! He invited me in and showed me around. It smelled amazing. I was dressed to the nines on my way to a wedding and it was all I could do to not buy many slices of pizza! It was very hot out and I was wearing a suit. So I did enjoy a couple cold beverages from their refridge. It was a great experience. This place is new but it will be around for a long time. So happy to have a quick, pizza by the slice lunch option close to my office. The lunch special is a great deal with breadsticks, a drink & a giant slice of pizza. They have multiple options, as well! I had leftovers for lunch the next day, which made the value even better. I grabbed my food to go, but there are a few tables if you'd rather eat there. It's very clean and the staff was so friendly. Beyond lunch they have full pizzas for order, salads, calzones and breadsticks. I will absolutely be adding Pronta to my lunch rotation! read more
